I called and talked to a girl named Tabitha and told them we needed a set of keys made for a Chevy Cruze that we lost. It was around 4:15 on a Friday afternoon. Despite the time it take to pick the lock, make the key and then program it and then program car they had no problem coming out to do it for us! They saved they day and charged us less than two other places. We also found out they fill propane and saves a run to First capital to get out tanks filled. about 530. My husband and I were traveling through the area he got a flat tire stopped in at the Conoco gas station and we had the most professional friendly service from the manager on the clock. Never been so satisfied clean bathrooms great price for fixing the tire with a quickness she had to crack the whip, but she got them guys to get her done my husband said it was like the NASCAR pitstop a big, thanks to her my husband actually thought that she was the owner because the level of care that she was conducting was frankly unseen in this day and age. Long time resident of St Peters. I was losing air my tire from a nail. i went to Conoco since they were close and open on Sunday. They said could fix the flat and didn't bother asking them how much it would have cost. They charged me nearly $50.00 for repair the flat! Yes they even had the gall to charge me tax on a job that is all labor. I didn't realize that other places like box stores were open as Costco member charges $10.99 and Walmart about the same. I try to support local businesses, well here is a reason why someone might not consider supporting them. Yes I was refilling propane there. read more

07-24-2013 Cave Springs Conoco will never receive my business again and I highly recommend that nobody else let themselves be robbed by them either. The following is my experience with them: In April, I brought my car to Cave Springs Conoco to have my engine replaced. Aside from that, they also recommended various other work be done. I trusted their recommendations and had them do the other work for a bill totally over $1,700. Among the things they did, they recharged the freon for my air conditioner. Since then, the air conditioner had not worked. I work 12 hour days every day and had not had a chance to bring it back until today. They told me that when they did the work in April, that my freon was full and that they sucked it out, recharged it, and put it back in. They told me today, that the freon must have leaked out. However, they said that the leak was not something that they caused, though they had not diagnosed it. My car's freon had been fine since last summer and had not leaked out all last summer nor all this winter, but somehow in less than a day after they filled it with new freon, it had all leaked out. The story doesn't add up. If it had a leak, then how did it still have freon in it when they got it? They said maybe it was a slow leak. Well, if it was a slow leak, then how did it lose all the freon that they supposedly put in it in less than a day. Well, that sounds like a big leak. But if it was a big leak, then how did it have any freon in it when they started the work on it? The story doesn't add up at all, but they were happy to charge me to do the work all over again, which they still claim was done right the first time. When asked if they would stand by their work and reimburse me if a diagnosis proved it to be that they had failed to re-connect the hoses or any other issue pointing to their own failure, they told me that they would not do so. Cave Springs Conoco will never receive my business again. This business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, nor have they sought accreditation and I highly recommend spending your money somewhere trust worthy that will stand behind their own work. read more

Avoid this place! Don't make the mistake of trying it because it might be convenient. I had a car inspected there and they made up issues that don't exist. They itemized a bill in excess of $450 for repairs. I took my car somewhere else, and they can see what was previously written up as defective, and all that was found was a bad stabilizer link which I easily replaced for $20. That was all it needed. Should you ever need automotive repair--RUN, do not walk, AS FAR AWAY FROM CONOCO IN ST. PETERS as you can. I agreed to over $900 in repair work that amounted to six hours of labor, with parts included. A day and half later--NOT due to the unavailability of parts, and NOT DUE TO UNFORSEEN REPAIRS, but DUE IN WHOLE to the owners and employees of this gas station INABILITY and outright REFUSAL to to complete the job--even when I AGREED TO GIVE THEM ADDITIONAL TIME--my vehicle was put back together and returned to me with MINIMAL repairs, to which I paid $324.15. I asked MORE THAN ONCE for the employees to have the owner(s) to call me, and the employees REFUSED to give me their number, and REFUSED to have THEM CALL ME. I've never, EVER ran into this type of treatment from a mechanic, or any place of business for that matter, in my 31 years of driving. read more

they used old parts and said they were new. i would not go there. unless under new ownership since 2004
