I was able to walk in ask for the boots that were in the back. They were handed to me. Tried them on then thought humm might need half size bigger. Good selection. Male sales Staff was more interested in flirting with the young girls so I didn't get any help. Despite me standing right next to him and obviously needing help. Found what I wanted after extensive searching on my own (I was just exchanging same boots I bought online for a different size in store). Price was cheaper in store than online and manager wasn't going to credit me the difference... till I insisted. So customer service sucks but good selection...2 stars. read more

There older man sales associate was not helpful at all. He instead preferred to make off-color comments regarding how "when you're at work you're there to work, not a fashion show" just for mentioning that I was looking for a particular style that I liked. We were offered zero assistance and we had to climb on a bench to reach the boots we wanted. There were at least 4 employees at the entrance and not one offered to help us. At check-out, I was explaining that I had a coupon via a text, but couldn't locate it and she offered zero alternatives. Lastly, not a single employee wore a mask and it is very concerning for your employees and their safety and they do not know what customers may be exposing them to. I wanted to buy my husband a pair of Cowboy boots for his birthday, so we stopped by Cavender's to see what was available. When we first walked in, we weren't immediately greeted and a few people just looked at us without asking if we needed help. However, a sales associate named Connie walked over to us as we made our way to the boot section to help us find the best pair of boots. Connie was incredibly kind and helpful. She didn't make us feel silly for not understanding anything about boots. She was patient with us as we tried on several pairs of boots and helped us find the best boots with the perfect fit. We ended up going with a higher end boot because of her suggestions and knowledge about the boot type and company. We truly appreciated Connie's help and will visit this Cavender's again to purchase from her. read more

He came to claim his commission and I felt that he didn't deserve it because he wasn't helping me, he's loud and doesn't mind telling customers he don't care about commissions that he has customers that take care of him, but he doesn't seem to take care of the customers. read more

For westerners, easily 3 stars. Good selection of boots, western clothing, jeans, hats, belts, children's, to adults, the only thing is . . . MANY OF THEM Made in China. So, if I want authentic cowboy boots, I have to travel to Forth Worth Texas, and find Made in China? Two of my sister-in-laws bought two leather upper boots, man-made soles Made in China. They're both the same style & color, when they bought them and got back in the Renegade, they were both laughing like two school girls - because they were the same style. As for hubby, he did found a new western long sleeves shirt, and he wanted one - so bad. As for me, and two of the others that came with us . . . we couldn't find a hat, jeans, or boots that we like. The bandanas, the same ones you'd find @ Michael's or Benjamin Craft stores for 99 cents, were sold here for a tad more, be prepare to pay 8.25% tax! Went to the counter to ask for some assistance because I ALMOST have my fit. I hear the girl call for someone to come help for more than 5 minutes.... nothing. Well this place is just incredible. They have more cowboy boots than I could imagine being in one store. The variety of sizes, colors, styles, and fits was incredible. My wife and I wandered around looking at all of the options knowing that we were going to get a pair. The only reason they didn't get 1 star is because of Jack. Jack has helped my fiancé and I several times when making our boot purchases and he is fantastic, very helpful, not pushy, and very informative. Other than that the staff at this location is horrible. I don't know if it is family run or what but all of the young ladies at the counter are lazy and rude. There is nothing but attitude at that counter. It makes me want to never shop there ever again. Just beware, if you are short on patience you will run out when dealing with them. read more

We left Cavenders and a week later found Fincher's in Burleson, at the recommendation of a friend. Looking for some western duds. These guys were awesome. Found the perfect boots. Wear a size mens 13, and they were one of the few places with extensive selection of luchesse boots in that size. Service was really bad, nobody helped me and when I asked where certain items where they just pointed instead of helping or showing me. I came all the way from Hawaii to come to this store and the girls there was not helpful at all. I did spend $433 there. My cell phone ended up dying and I asked if I could use there phone to call me a taxi and she told me "NO" cause they can't use there phones and she didn't know how to work the land line.... I wasn't very happy!!! I had to go to Best Buy and use there phone to call me a taxi. I went to another cavenders in Dallas (I think) and there customer service was AWESOME!!! He had a great deal of knowledge of the adult things and was there to help with any other things that i may have had questions.
