My parents LOVED this restaurant! I thought it was fine. The ambiance is fine. It's clean but feels like a bar. There are bottles of wine on every table. There is outdoor seating but it's next to the parking lot. The service is pretty good! Everyone was nice. The food was also good. I got mofongo and it met my expectations. I also tried some fish bites, which were okay, and the shrimp tacos, which were okay. One really funny thing about this restaurant is that the picture of the chocolate cake on the dessert menu looks EXACTLY like Linda's fudge cake from the Cheesecake Factory. I am 99% sure it is a stock photo they took from the Cheesecake Factory. And that's fine! I just think it's really funny.

Came slightly after weekday lunch hour rush. The service was attentive but slow (had to wave down the server) inside the restaurant was clean, cool, and inviting. The mofongo was amazing. Piping hot and very well seasoned. Would not recommend the masitas (fish bites) unless they are breaded. In the garlic sauce as pictured, they were soggy, buttery, salty and a bit disappointing. But we'll keep trying other stuff whenever we visit this area of the island!

The best food I had in PR! Sooooooo delicious and so much variety!…read more The staff were extremely friendly and even made a custom meal for my bf who is vegan. We even met the chef who was so kind! We got the yuca fries, bone marrow, fava bean tacos, oxtail cannelloni, duck, mahi mahi, black cod, vegan special, chocolate cake, and coconut sorbet! Everything was to die for except the bone marrow which had a super small portion size. The free bread was also amazing! Probably one of the top 3 free restaurant breads I've had. Will 1000000% be back next time I visit PR!

I liked the jovial yet professional service but the food is what made it great. Started with a tuna tartare daily special recommended by the waiter, it was great. Many layers of flavors and the tuna and avocado was fantastic. I then had the ribeye (the smaller one, at only 20 oz :-)) and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. For those who haven't seen my other reviews, I've been to hundreds of the best steakhouses, from NY to Chicago to Las Vegas to London, and while this wasn't a steakhouse it was fantastic. A nice think ribeye, perfect marbling but they also got the medium rare exactly as it should be, with an incredible char on the outside. I would fly back to Puerto Rico just to have this steak again. I also liked the crispy brussel sprouts and the asparagus were excellent, larger portion than you get elsewhere and nice thick asparagus. Finished with the I think 7 layer coconut cake, which I thought was the nicest dessert (split it with my wife's key lime pie, also good, and daughter's carrot cake donuts). Can't wait to go again.

Started with the butternut squash soup with coconut emulsion that was so good. The bread basket includes 3 types of breads and butters. You will want to eat it all but have to save room. We moved on to the king crab - perfectly cracked and flavorful w/their own house made sauces. It was the best crab I've had outside of Alaska and we live in Seattle where it's plentiful. Next we had the halibut with an amazing crust of hazelnuts and truffles. It may have been even better than the crab, but it was close. The fish came with a taro mash with truffle - and we didn't realize that so we also ordered the potatoes with Burrata and truffle. You can't have enough truffle. Finished with cappuccinos and molten cake. Really excellent experience all around. Don't miss it if you are in the area. I want to go back and try more on the menu. It was that good.
