I went to get it shortly later. Arrived. Very nice restaurant. I was surprised by the price. Over $20 for the breakfast burrito! Hope it's worth it! Order was ready. Food was on point but the customer service was horrible. Make sure you don't close your tab until you're ready to go even if your waiter is leaving. My husband and I were sitting there for a while waiting on someone to come to our table and ask us if we needed anything else or offer us a box to go. None of the waitresses offered anything. My husband had to get up to ask for a box and instead of the waitress, giving it to him, she pointed to where the boxes are. These girls need better customer service skills!!!! read more

A new favorite spot whenever we are in town for the Madera District Fair. My wife and I met a friend of ours before going to the fair on Sunday, the final day of the fair, and we enjoyed a relaxing long breakfast. Had we known how good the food was here we likely would have visited daily. Our server was fast and friendly. My wife got thew chilaquiles and our friend and I both got their breakfast burrito with rice and beans on the side. Holy cow - the serving size of the burrito was enormous. We both joked that we knew we were saving half for later - and we did. The burrito was chock full of deliciousness including chorizo, bacon, guacamole, egg, etc. It was so good. Beans and rice were excellent, too. My wife loved her chilaquiles. We all got drinks, and they serve them in large mason jars. I thought their lemonade was amazing and they even give refills for their drinks despite the serving size. We'll definitely bookmark this spot and return the next time we are in the area. read more

The food was very bland. If it hadn't have been for the salsa, wouldn't have eaten it. The music was so loud and it had ads so that made it louder. And the waitress didn't come by our table once, even though we were at the table right next to the register. Way over priced for what we got and how it tasted. I are here 4-5 years ago and I haven't eaten here since. I couldn't remember why I never went back, but I had thought it was related to the poor service. I went back and it was definitely related to the poor service and nothing has changed. We basically served ourselves...we had to go up to the counter for anything we needed. Tried to order online, their website is either: Hacked, or run by idiots. Nothing made sense. Menu option led me to a "Chinese" menu! I informed the person answering the phone, and she offered to investigate. I had a craving for a beef burrito. Called them and expressed my desire. They suggested a serving, and I agreed. It was terrible. A double sized tortilla filled with dried chunks of (hopefully) beef, on top of a slim slice of rice. Dried beef is called "jerky". Excellent service and great food! We stumbled across this gem during a visit to Madera over Easter weekend. The front desk staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant and they were open for dinner on Easter Sunday. The staff was very friendly and kind. Our server was very attentive. The food was cooked very quickly and was freshly prepared. The ambiance is very charming and clean! We will be back whenever we are in Madera again. read more

It's ok, nothing g great about the place. It's your usual Americanized Mexican food. For tortillas are freshly made but they don't have a great flavor, it's still basic. I feel they charge more for the setting than the quality of food. I do see most people go there yo get drinks. read more

Pretty average food and spotty service. I've been many times over the years and their service has always underwhelmed. The servers are friendly enough but service is extremely slow. They generally do not come to check on you and you can sometimes wait a while for food. I have yet to find a go to plate. At my most recent visit I had the chilaquiles with red sauce and rice and beans. The red sauce was very bland. I did not eat much at all. My sisters go to plate is the bacon wrapped shrimp plate. The shrimp are decent. The beans and rice that come with the meals do not have much flavor. However, the strong point is their drinks, which are consistently delicious. They make one of the best micheladas in town and their margaritas are also excellent. read more

I came here on a lunch date a month ago and I have to say this place is promising. I love the fact that they have an outdoor patio which my date and I opt to sit. If anything I like this place as it is in the plaza of a new Cold Stone that is being built but that's another review. They have an extensive menus with so many options. I was craving Chilequles as it sounded appetizing. I got a horchata which was disappointing VERY disappointing. A tip to know if Horchata is real is why doing the Cinnamon check. I took my first sip and I knew it was not real right away just by the taste, powered mix. So to confirm I did the Cinnamon check which consisted of looking under the cup to see if there is Cinnamon on the bottom and BINGO there was none on the bottom just floating specs of pieces of Cinnamon sticks...anywho I was so disappointed. When the food came out...the chileques were good but felt a little greasy the beans and rice was very good. I need to try more menu items and their drinks but that will be when I am off the clock. First time visiting Cazadores yesterday and was pretty amazed with their authentic dishes! I wanted to try almost everything that's on their menu, but ended up settling for the chorizo omelet. The eggs were loaded with lots of melted cheese, veggies, and chorizo on the inside but very tasty! I also decided to go with the country potatoes on the side instead of rice and beans. Service was a breeze, staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was very inviting. I'd love to come back and try other things on the menu! read more

Came here on a Saturday night. We are out-of-towners and we were treated with great service and beautiful SMILES! Food is delicious and it tasted even more delicious from the great service of the staff that night! Wonderful experience the moment we walked in until we said goodbyes! The price is reasonable for the great service and authentic food! The bar drinks and cocktails are pretty darn strong too! They don't skimp on everything, but specially the service. We randomly found this restaurant along our route to San Francisco. We arrived about 45 minutes before closing, not super busy, but quick service. Their entire menu is available all day which was awesome. Loved the spiciness of their salsa! Be prepared if you're not into spicy salsas. I ordered the carne asada burrito and omg it was HUGE! So delicious and tender steak. I was such a fan, even the rice was delicious which is normally a hit or miss for me. Never again will I ever walk into this establishment. I got over charged for a chimichanga..... I ordered a chimichanga a la cart.... I was brought four pieces on a plate. When the bill came, I was charged for 2... I told the server(manager) she over charged me, I only ordered 1... She then said that I ate it, and If I'm not willing to pay for it then she will call the COPS......and she did.... We were sat quickly. Our waitress was great. We ordered the casadores fajitas. It had everything. Shrimp, beef, chicken and chorizo with onions and peppers. Nice dollop of tomatillo sauce and fresh cojito cheese topped it off. We split it and couldn't finish it. For $28 for a meal for two I couldn't have been happier. I wish I lived in town. We would be regulars. Needs a coat of paint inside and the music is loud but that just makes it feel like a party. read more

I would say, though they don't often answer the phone.. out of maybe the five times you call them. They will answer once. I couldn't get a hotel in Fresno so I ended up in Madera. It seemed like a great place to get authentic Mexican food. This place doesn't have hi reviews bury my hotel highly recommend it's. Plus the pictures looked special, not your normal typical Mexican fare. OMG! not sure about the rest, but the waitress highly recommend the bacon wrapped cheese stuffed shrimp... OMG! I have never had shrimp this good. The bacon was very crisp, not the typical soft bacon wrapped around food. A lot of mild white cheese inside. I will come back here just for this!!! read more

I have been to Cazadores a couple times & never really had anything that stood out as excellent or even good tbh but I usually will try a couple different dishes from somewhere before I totally write a place off. wish I didn't. The last time I went here I ordered nachos to split with my date & they looked great, however the beans they tasted like they were rancid or had been made with sewer water or something. So freaking nasty. We only took a couple bites & set them to the side. No one ever asked how our food was or why we had barely touched it. Definitely not going back after that. Nooooope. read more

If I could give a ZERO rating, I would! Awful services by Beatriz,Salina and Marianna just awful. If those are their real names. I complained about the overcooked beef and underserved beverages. They charged our party the gratuity tip for party of 8 or more. If the service was superb I wouldn't complain but it was far from that. I disputed a undisclosed charge less than $20 and was threatened the cops would be called. That's no scare tactic for me. All they said was I have to call my boss, which was a lie. The bigger picture here, if there's not a supervisor on the staff to take care of a small dispute it's a bigger issue. These "waiters" had NO customer service skills at all. read more
