Second trip in, time for a review! The staff receiving folks in were super nice and helpful. The overall service of the waitress we had was timely and kind. The inside looked great and was clean; the outside (where we sat) looked swept up and chairs/tables organized well. Both times I have ordered lunch plates and remembered to take a picture this time. I have enjoyed the Bison burger both times I've been - my colleague particularly enjoyed the fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. I'm glad this is nearby and looking forward to trying the other location. SYOY!

Overall, very nice establishments. very appreciative of the the young lady working in the front desk who was able to get us a inside table even though we didn't have reservations. Atmosphere was wonderful very modern. Food was good ordered the chicken piccata and bison burger. The fried mushrooms were very good as well. Overall worth a trip.

We met here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our friends have ADA mobility issues which were graciously accommodated without a fuss. Way to go! Our server, Devin, was knowledgeable and over-the-top in service. He never made us feel hurried and checked in on us throughout the meal to ensure our needs were met. Between the four of us, three had the chicken piccata which by their accounts was delicious beyond words. I ordered a cup of seafood gumbo for starters. I wasn't a real fan as the flavor profile was on the bland side. BUT the Fish and Chips, served with a side slaw salad were delicious. The cod was moist, delectable and fried with a scrumptious crunch batter, making this the best stateside fish and chips I have ever tasted.

Cazzy's is probably the best bar in Northshore, they have it all. The history, location, food, service and libations. I have been several times but felt most inclined to write them up for my most recent trip. My brother and myself had just finished up 18 and had a few o the course and after we went our separate ways, I stumbled into Cazzys for their draft list and a dessert for my wife for date night. It has the ambiance of a speak easy, nice quiet stretched out L shaped bar with a wrap around enclosed patio. Cazzy's is famous for Caz Walker who in the early days ran a grocery store chain and was responsible for discovering a young Dolly and bringing her first to a stage and eventually radio. Moving along, the bar was completely packed and so I just relaxed in front a tv to catch up on a few bowl games. They had the college and pro channels and really hit the spot for a sports aficionado as myself. I was taken by the chocolate ganache cake, but the vanilla panacotta was literally a coin flip on which one would be more delicioius. After much deliberation, Ross the bartender was tasked with his choice. Thus I trust the opinion of those who do this line of work every day and saddled up for the panacotta and out the door I went. The impression from someone who was fairly underdressed for a Friday night at Cazzy's was class all the way through. Kudos and make sure you check out their happy hour wine specials. They are some of the best in Knoxville.

Food was alright for brunch, felt middle of the road for the price. Southwest potatoes (sliced) were pretty good. We also had huevos ranchero was okay but overwhelming with the sauce and difficult to eat. Service was good and ambiance felt more upscale, especially for dinner. 5/10 for brunch. Would possibly come back for dinner

Chimichurri pork tenderloin with corn succotash

The food was great. The jumbo wings appetizer was great. We got the dry rub with all 3 sauces as sides. We definitely think that's the best way to go about it, that way you don't commit to just one sauce. I got the Chimichurri pork tenderloin with corn succotash. My fiancé got the fish and chips. Both were a 10/10. The cooking was perfect for all of the food. We did not get a picture of the wings as they were so good we just ate them

Solid food and drinks. Food is always played well and drink choices are nice. A great spot for business meeting over lunch. Professional environment with upper level ambience.

We visited on a Wednesday evening, and that common area was packed. From what I understand, it's not uncommon for the common area to be hopping with families enjoying the food, drink, and fresh air. You can work up quite a thirst watching all the mayhem. An occasional casual pint is just what the doctor would order if she were with us. Instead, we had a couple of occupational therapists, and they said, "Why stop at one?" I like that prescription. You can choose from a variety of exotic IPA's and even something that tastes like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It really does. That wasn't my cup of tea, so I got a much more tame Mexican style lager. Very refreshing. The PB&J was ingested by the more adventurous of the two O.T's. She couldn't finish it, though. Maybe she has a peanut allergy? Of course, I had no problem finishing my lager. I rarely do. Quick Tip: The Inside of the Pint is upbeat, clean, and friendly. The bartender is quick with a sample if you're vacillating between one brew or another. He'll continue until you hit on just the right glass of suds. Careful, though, or you may get wasted on the hos d'oeuvres before you get to the main course!

The food is terrible, don't bother. Some beer was good but our first round was pretty flat.read more

It was fairly busy when I visited, and there was a line to get beer, which isn't a problem. I happen to see a friend of mine waiting in line to get a beer. I walked over to speak with him. We hadn't seen each other in probably five or six years. Another guy cut in line right in front of him before he could get his beer. Then, when it was my friends turn, the bartender (Josh) was less than friendly. I realize that they're just pouring beer, but the gentleman was decidedly unfriendly, he did not smile even once; he did not even indicate that he was ready to take an order in anyway by acknowledging us with a look or anything. Heck, he didn't even speak to us. Honestly, he was just rude & beyond unfriendly. I don't get it. If you do not like your job, get a new one. If you don't like pouring beer for people (which does seem like a super great job), get a different job. The fact that he would be there on what appeared to be a fairly busy night, which is good for the business, and be so unpleasant is beyond my comprehension. So, the beer selection is very eclectic, with something for everyone. It's super great that you can buy beer to go. The female bartender was awesome. I'm conflicted on what sort of review that I should give Admiral pub, because there were so many positive aspects to it, except Josh pretty much ruined the entire experience by his sour demeanor (although I adore sour beers) and persistent scowl.

Shoutout to our server Brandon who took extremely good care of us and even remembered each of our names after checking our ID's for drinks. The guacamole was good, but the chips could've used some salt. Entree wise the shrimp and grits was great, but it was the smallest amount of grits I've ever gotten in a dish. The shrimps were cooked perfectly though. In general the entrees looked smaller than other restaurants but felt it was the perfect size to not be overly full. We ordered all three desserts and they were all yummy in their own way. I love banana pudding, this one had a kick of bourbon. The panna cotta wasn't too heavy on the coconut flavor and was creamy. The beignets were warm and so good as well! If I were in the area I would definitely be back for brunch!

Cocktails were well done and the wine pairings recommended astute. Nothing to complain about except some of the items were cold - there was one person serving the entire bar and restaurant and obviously had some timing issues. Also some attitude: after delivering cocktails to my wife and me he forgot her mom's - after I reminded him he said "oh I know" and then proceeded to serve four other patrons' order at the bar and then another two top's before even starting hers. It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm chalking this up to a short staffed situation and a specific individual, so if you live nearby or are traveling through looking for a nice spot for dinner or lunch I would definitely recommend. The environment is also very pleasant with a nice bar and dining room of high top tables.
