Excellent dinner and amazing ambiance as we enjoyed dinner while staying at Asbury Ocean Club. Cocktails were incredible while the food was great, I'd highly recommend a night cap here.

Enjoyed some fine dining at this relaxed lounge located in our hotel The Tennessean. The service was fantastic, the staff was very attentive. So I had never had gin before but it sounded adult so I ordered the Gin City in honor of Kiss' last show and their song Cold Gin. Very tasty. Main course was the Panko Pork Milanese. Rustic and hearty, very well done . For desert a NY Cheesecake with a side of caramel and a side of strawberry sauce. They did it to perfection. Would most definitely recommend this place.

Very unique little bar and lounge situated on the second floor of the Tennessean hotel/residences. When you walk in, it looks like the inside of a living room you'd find in a luxury mansion. Couches, plush chairs, and small tables. There's only like 5 tables and only 1 or 2 that seat more than 2 people. It's the sort of place that just feels like a VIP room or private club. For that reason, at first, I wasn't sure if it was open to the public. We sat at a nice table by the window. Really enjoyed the food and appetizers. Although it's a limited menu, you could have a great date night here and feel like it's a very unique experience. Likewise, this would be a great place for a small business meeting. Definitely will be back.

Intimate, clubby space with a great menu and impressive cocktails! The service was very friendly. Great relaxed atmosphere. Everything we had was delicious, from charcuterie plate to Ceasar salad to filet. The Pineapple Express cocktail, their own creation, is one of the best cocktails I've ever had, not too sweet due to the inclusion of Amaro. I'm so glad we decided to dine here rather than in Market Square!

Coq Au Vin Blanc - the most delicious chicken meal I have ever had!

We decided to eat here while we stayed at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. You MUST get the chicken. It was the best chicken I have ever had. It takes a bit longer than most other items but when I ordered it, the bartender said it's worth the wait and she was not wrong. A week later and we are still here talking about how amazing that chicken was.

Wasn't sure how this would be as the don't take reservations and it's inside The Tennessean Hotel but since I was staying there, I thought why not. I was in town to see my daughter and son-in-law for Thanksgiving. Her birthday is a couple days after Thanksgiving, so we always celebrate while we're all together for the holiday. My daughter got the scallops or I should say scallop because there was only two tiny tiny scallops in the entire dish. That was kind of a bummer my son-in-law got the yard bird and said it was delicious. I personally got the Wagyu burger with fries. It was huge! And the fries were, good portion size. We got a bottle of the house Bordeaux and thoroughly enjoyed that all in all it was very good. Don't think we'd get the scallops together though. Service was excellent!

Service was a negative experience 6 employees working but could care less about guest waiting 30min. The delay is service kept us from having time to order food.

The French-inspired décor made it feel like I'd stepped into an authentic little café in France. The café has two stories of seating, plus outdoor tables, so there's plenty of space whether you're meeting a friend, working remotely, or settling in with a good book. I brought my Bible and did my morning devotional, and it was such a peaceful way to start the day. It would also be a great spot for a coffee date. I ordered the buckwheat crêpe with mushrooms, spinach, caramelized onions, and an egg. It was hearty, flavorful, and a generous portion that kept me full for hours without feeling overly heavy. I also tried one of their specialty lattes. It was a bit sweeter than I prefer and had a slightly artificial flavor, so next time I'd probably stick with a regular latte instead. Between the charming atmosphere, delicious food, generous portions, and welcoming service, this is definitely a place I'd recommend if you're looking for a cozy breakfast or brunch spot in Knoxville.

We came on a very busy Saturday night (weekend of Dogwood Festival, theatre night, and prom night)…read more Thankful to have a reservation, we were promptly seated while others with no reservation were being told three hour wait times. I loved the vibe of Tupelo, the hanging lush green plants on the side of the bustling kitchen, the cheerful staff and the lively music. Lizette was our server and she was just a darling. It was our first time here, and she was so helpful with her all of her recommendations. One of Lizette's favorites was the "Peach, don't kill my vibe" sangria. Which I just loved. I nice mix of peach and pineapple in a sangria. For our mains, we had the grilled harvest chicken and the chicken tenders. Both mains came with two sides. With my grilled harvest chicken, I got the mashed potatoes and the braised bacon green beans. The green beans were to die for, even my hubby was saying he should've ordered that as his side. The harvest chicken I loved--especially the sautéed spinach, red peppers and tomatoes on top. But if you can't handle spicy, this dish does have some heat to it. And we ended my birthday celebration with the heavenly banana pudding. It was heavenly in every way. Made in house, and so delicious that even my hubby ate it and he never cares for this dessert. If I could've licked that little bowl, I would've. We already cannot wait to come back and try some of the brunch items on their menu. We loved everything about Tupelo and hats off to Lizette for making our night even more special!!

Their patio faces Market Square, which made it such a nice spot to enjoy the summer weather and people-watch while having dinner. My server was also really attentive and helpful with answering any questions I had about the menu. I ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese, and it was SO good. The meat was incredibly tender, the sauce was flavorful, and I loved the fluffy swirls of ricotta throughout. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly too. My only note is that the portion was on the smaller side, so next time I'd definitely start with an appetizer. Between the food, attentive service, patio, and location right on Market Square, Oliver Royale is such a great option for a night out in Knoxville. I'd absolutely come back and try more of the menu!

The place had 2 customers silently sitting and maybe working on their computers but the whole place felt sterile and lifeless. I wasn't greeted and stood at the counter for a few minutes while the lone employee arranged items until I finally asked if I could order. I wanted to sample a variety- so I got an apple fritter, a snickerdoodle donut, a buttermilk old fashioned, and a blueberry Pączki. The apple fritter was the best of those 4. The snickerdoodle was just a traditional cinnamon sugar donut. The base was a bit dry yet also tasted oily. The buttermilk old fashioned had a similar greasy flavor and not the tang I'd expect from this type of donut. The Pączki was just a minimally filled jelly donut...and the dough was very greasy. Normally, the dough is more bready and has a more rich flavor. The ones I've always eaten in the past are heavily filled. This place seems like it has potential but it just lacks the quality or personality I'm looking for in a local gem. Nothing was awful but nothing was great either.

It was my brother in laws birthday and we surprised him by having his brother fly up here. I finally landed on the Lox Benny +avocado and espresso martini. The server was sweet, but he informed us it was his first day, and it definitely showed. It was a weekday lunch, so there were barely anyone dining in. I have worked in the biz, along with all of us, so we were patient. Over all he was sweet, and just needs to get in the swing of things. One of the eggs was not poached (overly cooked so wasn't watery), but over all it tasted amazing. I ordered a 2nd drink different from the first, and ooof, it was not good. The entire table wasn't impressed with their 2nd round either, we all tried something different. We had to return my sisters rum coffee completely. The strawberry drink tasted like complete syrup and was very thick. I felt bad and didn't want to return that one as well. I asked for them to water it down, It still wasn't great. I drank it anyway. Over all the server was nice/friendly and doing his best for his first day, we all enjoyed our time together, the food hit the spot and tasted excellent, but I wouldn't personally order the pre set cocktails they have on the menu. UPDATE: After reviewing my receipt, not only did they not take the drink we returned back off, BUT they have a credit card tax: 2.38$, a TN state tax 11.31, a TN County Tax: 3.68 and A Liquor tax: 15.00$ which totals 32.32$ JUST ON TAXES.
