The food was really good, hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from a place like this. The service was just as good too. Friendly, quick, and easygoing without making the whole thing feel rushed. What I like most is that it still feels familiar. A lot of places change too much over the years, but The Last Stand still has that same simple, local feel to it. I may not be a regular anymore, but it's definitely one of those spots I'm always happy to come back to.

Every year we drive up north from southern california, and for the first time we stopped in this cute little town for lunch at CB Kitchen. And I don't think anyone in our group was expecting to find such a hidden gem at cb kitchen. if you're driving up or down the freeway looking for food this must be the spot! we will be stopping here every single year going forward as a non negotiable on our trip. The staff made us feel at home, food was ALL made with locally sourced ingredients.
