I had scrambled eggs with crispy potatoes and extra crispy bacon AND Biscuits and gravy on the side. Delicious! I am only 135 pounds so I always have leftovers! The people were super friendly that were having breakfast! They have indoor and outside seating and doggy friendly! They also had beer and wine and mimosas. The bathrooms are clean and large enough to accommodate a large amount of people at one time. We decided to taste the gelato while waiting for our car to charge since we already had lunch, but looking at the fact that they make their own sourdough a sandwich would be a great choice for future stops. The gelato is made in house, and I had a lemon which was light and refreshing. My husband had the dark chocolate gelato. He said it didn't have a heavy milk based taste and not really creamy but very chocolaty. The server for the gelato was very friendly and let me taste first. I would stop here again even if I didn't have an EV car to charge.

The side salad was large and higher quality lettuce than most chain places. My friend ordered something pretty different, a Bacon Cheeseburger Salad! It's a big salad that has everything a bacon cheeseburger has, except the bun. It's not a lettuce wrapped burger, but a real salad with a chopped burger patty on top with a pile of cheese and bacon, served with whatever dressing you want. He actually like it a lot, despite it seeming kinda weird to me. Looked good though. I was more impressed with Black Bear Diner than I thought I was gonna be. I'll come back and maybe even try other locations.
