I was treated with compassion and they were able to press my clothes quickly. I wish I had the name of the gentleman who helped me. He was the best! He might have been the manager. Twice I've gone there and they left stains that needed to be cleaned from a jacket, and when I ask them to do it again they say they already tried. Then I go home and can take the stain off with a Tide stick, so I'm not sure what they're trying with. Some of the staff are nice, but most have their AirPods in when they're attending to you, and it's hard to tell if they're actually ready to help you or doing their own work. I took my comforter here to be cleaned -- only $19.99!!!, in by 10am, out by 5pm the next day!! -- brought my comforter home and still found some stains on it. Brought a jacket in to be dry cleaned, and it was returned to me completely falling apart. The staff 1) did NOT apologize for ruining my jacket 2) Insisted that it was not their fault that the seams were completely trashed, instead claiming that the way the jacket was made it would be ruined every time they dry cleaned it (although the tag on the jacket says dry clean only) 3) made me pay to have the jacket repaired and 4) will be returned to me in two weeks. I have been using CD One since this store ( 340 E Ogden) opened. The service is poor and the quality of the cleaning has declined substantially and the prices have increased. The location has stopped providing same-day service but the signs on the front have not changed. The staff is incredibly rude and can not communicate properly with the customers. They make promises on delivery but don't keep the promise and simply say that they weren't the person who made the promise and it's not their fault, and it's too bad. read more

This place was terrible. I sent my clothes for a dry cleaning expecting to get good results because someone had recommended this to me. When I pick up my clothes I see all the "cleaning" they had done. My clothing items were not cleaned whatsoever and all of them had all the stains I was trying to remove but CD One Price Cleaners couldn't remove it and did a terrible cleaning job. When I had asked for a refund they had told me that they don't do refunds so now I'm stuck with stained clothing that I will need for an upcoming vacation! read more

The service has gone downhill recently and the company and franchises don't respond to calls. Store 18 (Countryside, IL) damaged a shirt of mine, has the shirt and won't address it. in the same bag. My charge was 116 which is the biggest bill I've had since I started going. When I checked my reciept. She had put all my clothes on dry clean. For the past year and a half my bill usually is below one hundred dollars per visit (70,60). So I came back and told her that I dont need all of my items dry cleaned. Some just washed and Ironed as usual like before. She told me that all my clothes are for dry cleaning only or else they will be damaged. I told her that isnt the case as I have been going there and dont get all my clothes dry cleaned. She checked my history and said all my past orders were all dry clean. When I asked her to show me. She was lying. It was a mix of dry clean and wash dry and iron. She then made me separate clothes that need dry cleaning myself. Which I never had to do before. But I did anyway because she wouldn't do it as she said all my clothes are for dry clean only. Im not sure which needs dry cleaning so I had to read the labels. My experience today is not the usual great service that I get from Cd one. I would like to know if this is the current procedure. Gina also told me that shes been with cd one for 15 yrs. This location got better as I frequented it more and the lady who actually does the wash and fold is very nice. Would give it 5 stars if the counter employees read client notes before they spoke to you as I need to constantly remind them of special requests after I am there doing the same thing weekly. read more

I will not come here again. I took my suit here to get dry cleaned. The lady who took my order said she would take extra care of it since I expressed hesitancy. They clearly didn't. I picked up my suit the next day. The jacket was ok but not perfect without wrinkles. My pants, however were absolutely unacceptable. It seems they pressed them because they made new vertical creases in my pants and now I have two different and very visible sets of creases down the legs. They folded my pants to hang which resulted in horizontal creases as well. It just seems they cleaned my suit with haste and without care. I won't bring my suit back here to get this issue resolved, as I don't trust their quality. I also won't bring any of my other clothes here to be cleaned. read more

This cleaners is the worst by far!!! I wish I could give this place ZERO STARS. My daughter had a dress that I purchased her cleaned at this location. (Visiting from Texas) It was obvious that they burned the dress and tried to pass it off without informing us. Once home, we noticed the burn and returned with the dress in hand for answers. They tried to act clueless as to what had happened and said that they could fix. We left the dress; only to return the next day to the same damage. I paid over $250.00 for this dress about a month ago. When asked what they planned to do to compensate for their negligence, they said that there was nothing that could be done except possibly $50.00. After paying over $250.00 for the dress, we were offended. At this point, it's the principle and will be filing a suit in small claims court. This is NOT the way to handle a situation that was an OBVIOUS error on their end that they willingly acknowledged. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST if you care about your clothes. Especially if you've paid a pretty penny for them. You'll thank me later. read more

I would like to rate them higher, but their service has depreciated. Clothes come out fine if they still have them. They lost my brooks brothers pants that I bought in December and wore only twice. The last drop off was late February. They gave me someone else's pants in error. For past month it's been same story - looking for them, the name on my tagged pants has his clothes, drop off receipt, see Gina, see Liss. I'm sorry but it's time for a change. I take my shirts here when they are dirty, and they come back clean. What can I say? They dry clean clothes. I have never had any problems. Recently, they have begun to service blankets, although that takes an extra 24 hours. They offer free cookies and coffee. The cookies available are usually some form of generic Oreo-vanilla or lemon cream. They often run out of the complementary cookies in the afternoon. Staff is friendly and addresses you by your first name when you pick up. In the 6 years I've been taking my stuff here, only once did they screw something up. One of my older suit jackets got ripped in the back during cleaning. They caught it when it happened, called me to let me know about it, and they sent it out to be mended. I took my bridesmaid dress here to be pressed before the wedding. When I actually looked at the dress, one of the pads was pinned to the inside of the dress. Not sure how it got out but nothing was said to me when I picked the dress up. Very unprofessional. I drive past 12 other dry cleaners to get here. They have the best quality, service, and price. They are open seven days a week. They have great hours. And sometimes they're open a little earlier than posted and stay open a little later than posted. (But don't count on it!). They are quick: if you can get in in the morning - your stuff will be done by the afternoon. I also like the email updates letting me know when my stuff is ready for pick up. They do a very good job at hiring exceptional people, too. They always have a great attitude and are very helpful. read more

Omg the service here is completely terrible!!! I dropped off my dress i had to catch my flight out of town and I wasn't notified of their closing time!! They could have at least me know when the damn store was gonna close. Due to their lack of communication and trash customer service I had to reschedule my flight which cost me MORE money. BEWARE...I have been a loyal customer here since they opened. For the most part, fair and honest. Admittedly, we are not their biggest client as my husband has been working from home for 15+ years, and my quarantine yoga pants don't need dry cleaning. Recently dropped off a smallish load which included my husband's favorite Cutter and Buck $130 jeans. When I picked them up there was a mysterious hole. Stuff happens, I get it...not our first dry cleaning mishap. However both the manager and owners could not be ruder in dealing with the issue. Insisting it could NEVER happen in their facility, no, not ever in the 25+ years of experience, blah, blah, blah. Ironically, my husband has 60+ years of clothes-wearing experience and knows what a tear looks like. We certainly would not have brought a torn pair of pants in for dry cleaning! Customer service is awful! And forget common sense. They returned my daughter's custom made dance uniform blouse missing the zipper head and pull. Only for me to discover moments before dressing to take the competition stage. This is a pretty straight forward issue...They received the blouse with zipper intact. They returned it sans the zipper head/pull without disclosing the error. So the question is quite simple...will they or will they not fix the zipper?* All Lizzette and Celsy (two managers) wanted to do was critique the custom garment's construction. That due to the poor construction, it was missing the zipper head/pull and therefor not their fault but the fault of the seamstress. I expressed to them, no less than 4 times (because they kept repeating themselves) that I was uninterested in their critical review of my custom garment, that the item came in complete and was returned to me incomplete. At no time did they want to take responsibility for the repair of the damaged zipper. Other than to keep it for an additional week to "see" if they could "find" another zipper. Um no! Why? Due to the above stated dialogue, I lost all confidence that they would take any interest or care in the situation & return the blouse to me in any better condition that it was already in. #1 This blouse has been worn for a year and a half. Never had a head/pull issue. Plus, has previously been dry cleaned by them. #2 Celsy remembered receiving this blouse. Acknowledged the poor performance of not letting me know. This, to me, confirms that she knew it left the premise without the head/pull and simply did not care = poor customer service. *I would have been thrilled with the disclosure of error at pickup along with a coupon for $10 in dry cleaning. And this review would not exist. OR On my return, the same thing...hey we're really sorry! We value you as a customer, we cannot fix this but to say we're sorry we would like to give you $10 off your next order. This is pretty easy...especially since they send out coupons to attract new customers with higher value offers. Instead they received this review and a lost customer for life. BTW, I may not be your best customer but I am a pretty regular one with my husband's business clothes + the added household stuff. read more
