The project was paid in full after assurances that the remaining work would be completed shortly. As of June 2026, several items reportedly remain unfinished, including portions of the railings, lighting installation, paver corrections, and other outstanding project items. Throughout the process, they experienced repeated delays, missed appointments, and communication issues regarding project completion. The photos and messages I reviewed show multiple promised return dates, ongoing scheduling issues, unfinished work, and concerns that remained unresolved for many months after payment was made. Sharing Our Experience with CDR Landscaping and Concrete LLC We hired CDR Landscaping and Concrete LLC in September 2025 to complete a landscaping project at our home, which included a gazebo, railings, lighting, pavers, and other landscaping features. The project was paid in full after we were assured the remaining work would be completed shortly. Nearly nine months later, multiple items still remain unfinished. Throughout the project, we experienced repeated delays, missed appointments, and ongoing communication issues. We were given multiple dates when crews would return to complete the work, only for those dates to come and go without completion. We were also told at various times that they were short staffed or finishing other projects before returning to ours. The photos attached show some of the issues we are still dealing with, including: * Incomplete front and backyard railings * Railing sections left on-site instead of installed * Materials and personal items left on our property * Exposed wiring and unfinished lighting installation * Gazebo materials and packaging still left inside the structure * Cracked pavers The attached screenshots are examples of communications regarding project completion and scheduling. I called yesterday to make an appointment for someone to come out and give me a quote to have our new build backyard completely done. I was willing to spend a large amount of money as this is a large project. I was told they are working another job nearby and it would be no issue for them to come over and give me a quote. I should have realized when the phone call was answered "hello" instead of the name of the company and the person speaking that this was going to be a less than wonderful experience. I made an appointment and told David I was available anytime before noon the following day. I work nights and getting up early is awful but I was willing to make it work. Fast forward to today. I texted requesting they contact me when they were about 10-15 minutes away so I could meet them outside and David texted back at 8:46 staring that he would. Then not a peep from David until he calls at 11:12 advising he is running late and had to stop for gas and would be there in 15-20 minutes. I said that was fine. By 11:45 still no one had shown up so I texted David advising I had to get ready for work at noon and he texted back saying he would be there in 5 minutes. 12 o'clock rolls around and still no one has shown up. It's now 12:15 and still no one. Do not waste your time and money with this company when there are plenty of other local companies in the Parker that actually value their customers. read more

I am so disappointed in our fencing and communication with this company. It all started out just fine, but then our fence was completely leaning towards our neighbors house. David and his team came and fixed that. However, after just one year, our fence is completely falling apart. Posts are splitting in half, wire is all falling off, the horizontal boards are all warped and splitting, and all the hinges/screws are coming out. I am so sad that we spent this kind of money on our first new build where we had to do landscaping. David and his team said they would fix our fence, but now it is complete silence and we are left with a fence that is falling apart and will need to be fixed. read more

We hired CDR landscaping and concrete to install an in-ground trampoline in our backyard, and could not be happier with how the work turned out. They were very competitive with the quote and had a crew available to start the work the following week (unlike some other landscaping companies have a long waiting window). David was handling logistics and Cesar did an awesome job. He was working very hard and you could tell he was taking pride in the job he was doing. We did have a few things to fix (like leaking sprinkler hose, and edging around the trampoline -and Cesar took care of everything we asked. They also fixed our gate , installed new hinges and replaced broken boards. Again did an excellent job! Thank you CDR Landscaping! I recently hired CDR Landscaping to rebuild a concrete sidewalk and backyard gate. With the crazy weather I needed to be patient with the scheduling. The concrete work was amazing, we are very happy with the outcome. They showed up and did all the framing, concrete and cleaned. For the gate, there were some initial feedback I provided, regarding items that needed improvement, and they redid the work, and the end product is amazing. I highly recommend this company, their price was very affordable, compared to other companies, and timing to get the work done was also acceptable. We hired David and Chester for landscaping work after we saw the work they did in Elizabeth, CO. They gave us an estimate for dirt removal, a retaining wall, turf, paver stones, a new walk way from front to back, new pad behind the fence, new side walk and a replacement of an existing driveway that we wanted slightly wider. Their bid was less than the competing bids. They have turned my frozen tundra hill side back yard into a fun and playful place. We now have a flat area to play in, two paver seating areas, and so much more. David was always just a phone call away and even did some unexpected touch up work at the end of the project. read more

We had extensive patio remodeling done including expansion of retaining wall, removal of existing pavers and installation of flagstone, as well as some brick laying and stone work around a fireplace. I would love to be able to write a five star review for them but that's been far from my experience. They came started the work, and then left with trash all over the place to include large nails everywhere. We have a two year old and dogs, and they saw this, so them leaving all this everywhere was disappointing. There were rocks and dirt all over our brand new window well covers as well. The day of the work I didn't mention anything, and just went around and picked up the nails and trash with my husband when they left. Then the next day, there was no call or knock on the door. We sent them a message and Angel/David called and said that he did come but the concrete wasn't ready. We checked the ring doorbell and saw nothing for that entire morning/day. They said they would be back the next day to finish.. we were suppose to get a fire pit installed as well. But after seeing how everything was left and that there was already no communication on a completion time we cancelled that portion. My husband and I ended up picking up all of the trash/nail/tools and debris left behind, in our front and back yard. Two days later Angle/David and Chester showed up alone to "finish". They took all the wood off and agreed that they would make sure someone would come clean up the stains/debris in the street in front of our house and our neighbors house on Monday. No one came on Monday... Monday afternoon my husband called and they said they would call them (the company with the cement mixer) to come clean the street.. two young men came and poured a bag of some sand like agent to the spots on the ground. They said they would be back at 2pm Tuesday to finish cleaning it up. No one came or called. My husband called David today (Thursday) and he acted like he didn't know who he was and hung up on him. I called after that and David put Chester on the phone. He kept repeating that they would clean it... but that was agreed to have been completed on Monday on a contract I wrote that he signed. So now... for the sake of our neighbors we bought a power washer and spent hours cleaning the road... the stains are still there and there is no remedy from Chester. He did say he would come and clean it and didn't show up. I am disappointed because the actual concrete work looks great! It's just everything else is a poor way to run a business. read more

The owner came out, started a retaining wall project and was paid every 1/4 of the way through the job. During the project the owner damaged the neighbors fence, destroyed the irrigation system in both the front and back yard and never returned to finish the last 15% of the job. Thus leaving me to pay for the neighbors fence repair, paying for the irrigation system repair and having to hire another company to finish the retaining wall job only to find out CDR Landscaping didn't do the job correctly in the first place. We had CDR do a Rock retaining wall repair over 18'. The job was completed in under six hours and done carefully and professionally. Most importantly, that wall repair was done over a newly landscaped bed with delicate plantings. No plants were damaged and the cleanup was the most through we have ever experienced. David Riva, the owner of the company, was very friendly and easy to work with. He listened to our requests and made changes to the plan when we asked him to. Like others who would like to give a higher rating it just isn't possible for CDR Landscaping and Concrete. I wanted them to do three things: clean up the flower beds along the fence and replace the old ground cover with new; to install a new drip line for the plants in that flower bed and to do some trimming of the shrubs and check the garden lights. They also installed three flood lights on my fountain which was not in the contract but I thought it was since their guy did it in my "re-vamping request for sprinklers, flower beds and trimming. At the end of day one the flower beds were fine BUT the sprinkler line was not connected (it was understood that when the water was again on they would come back and finish the job.) David called me and said they would be done the next day and I should just give his guy a check in an envelope for the rest of the money due.In addition, when the lights to the fountain were installed they shorted out ALL my lights .Well...they NEVER came back. Like other reviews on Yelp about them I have called them a total of 7 times or more and on occasion have been able to talk to David who always defers to Chester for a decision about what to do. When they DO answer it is like they never heard of me and I have to go over the address, my nam once again and say what they did for me.When I mentioned the lights they said it wasn't in the contract and they wouldn't do them. I reminded them that the drip system WAS in the contract. They then said "I can come tomorrow. Good! what time? 4 pm. They never showed. prior to that they said they would be there on a Monday. They never showed then either. My written emails to them generally are unanswered. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY WORK But if you do DO NOT PAY THEM THE FINAL AMOUNT UNTIL THE JOB IS TOTALLY DONE!! In my opinion they have taken advantage of an elderly couple's need for backyard work and having done the easiest part have refused to return to do the rest. They are simply irresponsible, unreliable and rude! read more

We paid David and his brother over $21,000 to pour a concrete pad for a basketball court and a small pad for our trash cans. They were also doing some edging and mulch out front as well as building a retaining wall around the basketball court. They ran out of concrete while pouring the basketball court so there is a complete section that does not match the rest of the pad. That should've been my first clue to stop them. The small pad for the trash cans was poured over our drip system and cracked a pipe that we could not get to, to fix the leak. The mulch that should have been 3 inches deep was an inch at max. And the retaining wall they built around the basketball court essentially fell down. When we asked them to come and repair what needed to be repaired they tried to charge us $3600 more. USE EXTREME CAUTION. They appear very polite, but they do not stand behind their work and there is absolutely no quality. Thank God my husband is handy and we have sent started to rebuild the retaining wall ourselves. We really ran and rerouted our drip system and we have built up the mulch to where it should have been. All at our e expense. We will be seeing them in court. read more

If it could be ZERO stars it would be more appropriate. David and Chester operate the bait n switch. 1 brother does the bidding then other brother does the work. We had a basketball court project. They used our boulders to build retaining wall. No fabric or concrete was used then erosion happened and walls started crumbling. They refused to fix unless we paid extra. They also poured concrete over existing waterline. It started leaking and again refused to fix. Finally they miscalculated amount of concrete on court, so when they had to come back to finish we have a basketball court that looks horrible and will surely erode along the patched areas. CDR Landscaping did an excellent job of rebuilding a retaining wall, refreshing the bark/rock and grinding out old tree stumps. They also patched our grass with new turf where requested and even refreshed our flower bed with leftover bark. We were very happy with their service and crew.
