Just got my hair cut by Jessica for the first time, and I am thrilled with the results!! Genuinely the best haircut I think I've ever had. She listened to everything I said and asked for, talked me through what she was doing and what she thought about my requests, and gave excellent advice on how things would look so I could decide exactly how I wanted my hair cut (and then listened to my feedback and adjusted things accordingly without it feeling like a chore!!). I left feeling extremely satisfied, and am even happier with the cut after getting home and styling my hair like usual. I have found my Holy Grail Hair Stylist!! Jessica is beyond talented and caring. I booked an appointment based on reviews, which is kind of scary because you never know if someone is just having their friends and family write them. I was very impressed that she took 15 minutes examining my hair, asking me about my hair care regimen and daily styling, etc. before she even picked up shears. Long story short, I walked out with the best cut I've ever had! Fast forward 2 days and I received a text from her, asking if I was happy with my cut and did I need anything tweaked/fixed because she would be happy to do so. I let her know my hair is fantastic and I'll be seeing her in 6 weeks for my next cut! (I've never had a stylist follow up with me to make sure I was happy and I certainly never had one spend 15 minutes listening to me and my concerns before cutting.) Jessica is awesome! She was great with communicating with me before my appointment and was very thorough. She took the time to explain what she was doing throughout every step of the process. I came in with very uneven colored hair that I wanted to fix and lighten. Jessica was very patient and fun to hang out with! She fixed up my hair and made sure that I left with a shade that I was happy with. She told me it would take a few visits to safely lighten my hair to a light blonde (since my natural hair is dark), but I was surprised at how pleased I was with the color I was left with after just one visit. One of the most notable parts of my visit was how considerate Jessica was! She provided me with beverages and snacks and continuously checked on me to see how I was feeling throughout the lengthy appointment. Let me preface all of this by saying I am from California, and incredibly picky in who I allow to work with my hair due to having been fortunate in always having great stylists.My hair is on a journey from dark brown to blonde, currently sitting at a beautiful rose gold that Jessica was able to pull through in our first session. What I love most about her is her dedication to the health of your hair - she will NEVER do anything with color that will harm your hair. I think that's incredibly important in a hairstylist, and especially when it comes to bleaching your hair. I sat through two bleaches in my lightening process, and my hair feel just as healthy as before any bleaching. It's as if it never happened; all I have is beautiful hair to show for it! Jessica's work with color not only surpassed the California stylists I've had my hair done by, but far surpassed the state my hair has been left in following bleach sessions. I couldn't agree more with the review that stated Jessica Lamberger was the "Holy Grail Stylist"!! If I could give her 10 stars, I would. My hairstylist of 7 years recently moved and I was forced to find another. Any woman knows how scary that is. Through Yelp, I found a stylist in Tigard and went for my first appointment for a color and cut. My worst nightmare came true, I left looking hideous. The next day, I drove by Catwalk on Barrows Road in Beaverton and stopped in to ask if they did color correct. Jessica was working on another client but asked if I could wait for a few minutes and she would take a look. She spent at least 15 minutes looking at my hair to assess what could be done. I knew immediately, that she knew her stuff and booked an appointment with her for the following week. She gave me so much information about product and explaining exactly what she was doing and asked me questions during the process about my likes and thoughts about what she was doing to make sure that I was happy with her decisions. I might add that I am 70 years young but don't want a typical "old lady" cut and color. She just "got" me.
