Really good take-out sandwiches here. They are varied, unique, and original. And many of them, maybe all of them, are served warm. Very friendly staff. And they have a very large beer selection. I think they have some gas pumps too. They would benefit from some tables and chairs to sit and eat, although they do have a few tall round tables where one can stand and eat inside. Huge beer selection and great sandwiches. Well, I only got a sandwich once (Italian) but it was excellent. I can't find sandwiches like that around MoCo. It was full, flavorful and made with care. The craft beer selection is one of the best in the area. Someone takes great care in researching and ordering the beer. The selection is constantly rotating. You'll go in one week and the following week half of the beer inventory has turned over. Additionally, they often have food trucks parked out front. I am not sure if they list the food truck schedule anywhere, but that would be nice. read more

This hidden gem is truly fantastic. This sandwich shop within a liquor store serves huge sandwiches and you can find unique craft beer. We ordered the triple decker clubs and sloppy T and had food for two days. They fill the sandwiches with so much meat, it was fresh and I loved the spice on the sloppy T. I grabbed some locally made kettle chips as I was paying and I'm glad I did because they too were so tasty. I will be adding this to my lunch rotation! read more

I will confess, I had driven past Cedar Grove store multiple times over the years, noting it was probably a nice little beer stop, but nowhere I needed to rush to. Little did I realize it was an all too hard to find spot for a good sandwich in the northern Montgomery County area. Is there a good beer supply? Definitely, great representation from local craft beer spots, most of them cold. After one experience calling in an order and going to pick it up I can't express enough how much I appreciated the friendly service, and of course the incredible food I brought home to my family. I had the cold cut sandwich with everything on it and I loved it. My wife got the Triple Deck which looked as good as she said it was. One of those sandwiches that have your elbows out and you chip away at with multiple attacks at the same area before you can put a dent in it. My daughter had a BLT sub, loaded with crispy bacon. She made multiple mentions of how good the bread was, which I would have to agree with. Is this a fancy sit down restaurant? So, since I was the first review on yelp for this joint it's now time for an update. While I can't vouch for the food, I can safely say they have a great selection of local beers. They may support more local beers than any other store I know at this point. Plus they are a neighborhood staple. They're local guys who are super friendly. Since Damascus has yet to open a beer/wine store in town, this place and the beer store in Mt Airy are my only 2 options to purchase my drink of choice. I have never had any issues with this store, it is pretty convenient to hit up while on my way to Germantown. It's right off the main road. They have a pretty good selection of beer and wine, and the place has more of a homey feel, as it is in a former single family home. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. The parking situation can be a bit tricky, being right off the road, but it's doable. All in all a great store. read more
