IT WORKED. Their techs are super sweet. Midnight is normally very nervous coming to the vet but as you can tell from these photos is that she is very comfortable. This is her on no meds. We found this vet as we just moved here from CA. Our initial wellness exam was pleasant however the price was way more than what we paid in CA. At our visit we noted seeing blood in our dogs urine and they did an ultrasound but didn't want to do a pee test based off the ultrasound. Well our dog kept having to urinate frequently following the appointment and there was still blood. So we called asking if we could start treatment for a UTI as our dog had a history of them and this was likely the issue. They said we needed to catch a urine sample and bring it in office to determine treatment. We did this another $100 later and they say there is no UTI and to bring her in for a clean catch sample and another ultrasound and more test. Mind you days are passing and our dog is not feeling better. We ultimately went to another vet up the road who treated her same day and was in the same price range as what we paid in CA. Their wellness visit was $30 cheaper too. It's unfortunate because our initial visit was positive but it just seemed like they wanted to keep charging us instead of treating our dog. read more

First of all the care here is wonderful. Routine care all the way to getting my little 4 pound furr baby spayed was done so well and in such good hands by the vets and the wonderful techs. Today, we found a tick on her face and ran over to ensure removed properly and quickly, thru we're super busy but found a way to get us in quickly and resolved safely. When we first started going here years ago, it was a good vet clinic, but it sure seems to be going the way of increasingly finding ways to do less and slower over the past couple of years. I get it, it's not a drive-thru, but even getting a copy of a prescription for pet food (that they no longer carry) is now taking the better part of a day despite numerous reminders...for a signed computer produced sheet of paper! Add to that, they seem to never be able to help us with our pets' issues regardless of nature or severity. The last couple of times that I needed them, they've referred me to an ER while one of them was because my cat was limping. So, I'm guessing we're coming now for checkups and teeth cleanings? Only? Meh... While I'm no vet, this is still a business that needs to provide a service or people cease doing business there. read more

Just started taking my dog here and we had a great experience, actually better than any vet I've utilized before. Front desk staff were super nice and efficient. Tech and vet were super nice and really wanted to get to know my dog (including sitting on floor to greet and pet her) before they started the exam. They have separate entrances for cats and dogs, and everything was spotless! Highly recommend them!! read more

We were getting my puppie's DAPP vaccine #3 done and lepto and apparently we were about five days out for the dapp shot and I don't understand how that happened since I made the appointment with someone over the phone they shouldn't have made it that day. They should've told me to make it earlier. Now that vaccine, which she had a reaction to is no good and we have to redo it. Not only that, but when I do bring her in with an appointment, they just take her into the back. They don't give us a room. When I brought her in for the reaction a couple hours after I heard her scream and apparently they just gave her a Benadryl shot. Again, they don't explain what they may do.. they just do it and tell me later. It seems like they just do what they're gonna do and don't consult and I feel like I've had better service at other vets. I've seen a pretty good male vet here so I don't want to give such a low rating but the girl brunette techs I haven't had great experience with. read more

The vets and tech are great to work with but the front desk people are old disgruntled ladies that appear to not want to work there at all or do not know how to answer customer service phone calls. They don't even acknowledge you when you enter the door. They stare at each other and try to get the other person to do the work. read more

I've been very impressed with Cedar Mill Veterinary! I was looking to get a second opinion on my dog's teeth and a quote for a cleaning and my coworker recommended this place. Right away I was impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. Dr. Robledo and Dr. Bukowski are awesome! My girl got 2 teeth pulled and the cost also ended up being less than I was quoted which was a nice bonus. I even took her in the next day because I was concerned about some post surgery symptoms and she was evaluated free of charge. I will definitely keep bringing my baby here, especially for any big procedures! read more

Dr.Bukowski is the best, along with all of the staff at this office! We brought our reactive dog here after trouble with our last vet who insisted on sedating him to sleep for every visit and did not let us in the exam room. All of the staff were so helpful, patient, and kind in making sure our pet was comfortable enough to get through the lobby without interacting with other dogs. There's even a cat designated entrance and dog designated entrance at this building! The staff here is very competent and educated on dog behavior!! Dr.Bukowski and her assistant were so gentle with our nervous dog and took the time to get to know him and understand his triggers and issues, and provided lots of care. We did not have to sedate our pet at all! Dr. Bukowski also did not want to overcharge us, or pressure us into anything our dog wasn't ready for like neutering! I want to give a shout out to Cedarmill veterinarian and the staff and Dr. Anna Rebledo for our care yesterday. We had made an appointment to have our cat euthanized after a wonderful 18 years with us we have had other animals euthanized at other facilities, and by far this was the best experience. Dr. Realito was kind compassionate, explained everything and made the experience as peaceful as possible. Our cat was calm never experienced any anxiety and the whole process was done beautifully. Masters of wasted time & trips. Puppy had leg surgery at Cedar Mill two years ago, told us to drop her off early AM for AM app't... BUT surgery turned out to be scheduled for mid-afternoon, which they didn't tell us until we picked her up that evening and asked why it took so long. Their response was "we shouldn't have had you bring her in so early". Made an app't for Tuesday of this week to check out one leg that has gone south - spent over an hour driving to app't only to be told they had "migrated to a new system and we lost your app't... come back tomorrow." When we told them that was unacceptable, one receptionist immediately got extremely nasty with us, said it wasn't their fault. Whose was it, then? You changed to a new system and NO ONE VERIFIED appointments??? And it's OUR FAULT??? Will NEVER go back to this rude, uncaring clinic. read more

Been coming here for just over two years, and have brought my 2 large dogs and kitten for everything. These guys are just so great - they have helped my animals for everything from new kitten shots and spay, to surgery for my old great dane, to cancer treatment and eventually saying goodbye to my old mutt. I have now worked with all 3 vets here and they are all wonderful, though Dr. Bailey went well above and beyond for my cancer pup and made the whole ordeal so much easier to deal with than it could have been. And when we were trying to figure out what meds to use to help alleviate someof the cancer symptoms, one of the employees (not sure if it was a vet, reception, or a tech) got a quote for one of the meds from the pharmacies I use, and when finding out the (huge!) price, even took the initiative to call another place in town to see if we could get a better price, which absolutely helped me get a bit more time with my old pup. Also, the vet techs here are just incredible - unfortunately I never seem to catch their names, but I've worked with a few now. There is one amazing lady who treats all my pets like absolute royalty, and even requested to be with us when we had to say goodbye to my old pup, to have another friendly familiar face in the room at the end. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Cedar Mill. They are only slightly more expensive than some nearby places, but I think it's absolutely worth it for the level of care. It would be nice to have longer hours on Saturday and open Sunday for when people are working during the week and can't make it in, but other than that - this place is the best! read more

(With the exact customer's always wrong if they complain approach.) Six years. Good question. It was HORRIBLE. The new Banfield is a breath of fresh air, to say the least. Friendly, attentive, knowledable, automated, proactive, caring. The exact opposite of what you read in DR. RICK WHITE'S response. I'm quite certain it will be neither the first, nor last potential slander or other suit this guy's brought on himself. Classic own words enemy type. Firing customers when there dogs are facing serious life threatening illness - and when they express dissatisfaction with years of ineptitude, mistakes, misbilling, wrong medications, bad advice - by having a front clerk hand me a letter? Not even a conversation. Years of front office issues. and...a recommendation to do 2 acl's at the same time, when only one was injured!!!!! Wrong meds, wrong charges, wrong dates, wrong vaccination scheduling. Constant add on testing that was not necessary. Front office ineptitude a direct reflection of ownership. Horrible. When I was little, my family took our dog here, all 16 years of his life. So naturally, when I got my own puppy, we came here. Despite moving further away, and this office becoming inconvenient I stayed loyal and continued coming. For one because I love our vet, and I think he loves Clyde (my dog) too which is a huge plus. And two because I felt like the same office would be better for Clyde than changing when we moved. I recently had an emergency situation. My Clyde for cut open by something in our yard and had a pretty decent sized gash in his side. I called Cedar Mill Vet, and let them know what had happened (while bawling) and told them that I would really rather come to them than take him to the ER vet. And she said, that depending on how bad it is they may have to refer me to the ER vet anyways cause they might not be able to take care of it before they close. What?! I've been coming to this office for 20 years, (since I was 5) 5 of those with my own dog, I've referred business to you and you can't stay later? Maybe this is just the norm nowadays but it's really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. All my family's loyalty over the years and you turn me away when I needed you most. I'm so glad I found this place. I had an issue with one of my cats and they got me in immediately, and took great care of him till I got to take him home. I felt like everything was explained to me and I was given options on what to do. I also had a regular exam for another one of my cats the next day, and again it went super smooth. I see someone complained that the doctor didn't have the best bedside manner, but I really appreciated how to-the-point she was and that my cat was taken care of immediately. Had a very positive experience here with Dr. White and his staff. I had already been to 2 vets prior and was in need of an experienced doctor/surgeon to see my dog for his ACL injury. He worked around my hectic schedule and was able to fit me in within a few days notice for both my consultation visit and the surgery. Dr. White spent a good amount of time explaining the injury and what was going on with my dog, as well as what would happen during the surgery. He was very thorough and I felt very confident in his and his staff's capabilities and experience. When I picked up my dog the day after the surgery, I was walked through his x-rays, medications, recovery timeframe, and then any remaining questions I had. I feel very confident in the work Dr. White did as well as the treatment of my dog while he was under their care. The facilities themselves are very clean and nice and don't have any funky vet smells (that sometimes vets seem to have). I would definitely recommend Dr. White and his veterinary to any pet owner- he's very friendly and welcoming and will take care of your pet. read more

I just love them. I have a dog that loves to get in to EVERYTHING. We have a drill, find out what he got in to, call Cedar Mill Vet, ask them if I should bring him in, and (if needed) bring him in to check him out quickly. This morning, it was an ant trap that was on top of a counter (how did he get it? ugh!). I got an appointment within 10 minutes of calling. They checked him out quickly. Eased my nerves. Sent us on our way. I now have a happy chewing dog sitting next to me and calmed nerves knowing he is going to be just fine. We also take him here for his well-visits and all his shots. All the doctors are super courteous, prompt, and always ready to answer as many questions as I have. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. My experience with Dr. Rick White at Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital was something I wouldn't wish on any animal lover. I chose to schedule an appointment at this location due to proximity and availability...big mistake. My 9 month old puppy needed to be examined for a bad odor after playing outside as well as terrible breath that had just become an issue 2-3 days prior. The tech that took vitals was moderately friendly, but didn't really seem pleased with her work. She made very little eye contact and appeared to be unsure of how to handle our puppy. For anyone who's had a puppy before, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about. He's excitable and sometimes difficult to manage, so I did offer to assist as she took his temperature. Overall, I could overlook a technician who may have just been having a bad day. Enter Dr. Rick White. It didn't take long to see that he was gruff and set in his ways. He didn't greet our puppy, but rather asked for the leash that I had in my hands and stepped on it to settle our puppy. A technique that we do indeed use, but took me by surprise. Strike 1. As we discussed the reason for the visit, he began explaining that it may be our dogs scent glands...but referred to it as "smelly ass". I'm not so prude that I can't appreciate a vulgar phrase, but this was our first meeting and I did have my 5 year old daughter with me. Not very respectful or professional. Strike 2. He then looked at our dogs teeth (he still hadn't introduced himself to the dog at this point) and rubbed a tissue on the side of his teeth. "Is this what you smell?" he asked...and I responded with "yes, but it's much more pungent than that". He got out the dog toothpaste and suggested brushing...which I agree is a good habit to get into, but this is a 9 month old puppy, we're not talking about years of build up here. Our dog, was not comfortable with him, and that was pretty apparent from the get go. He called in his technician to help "contain" him. It was horrifying. He grabbed Bo by the loose skin around his face/collar and said "this guy seems to think he's in control!"...to which I responded "not at home, he doesn't". My daughter asked "mommy, why is he hurting our dog?" Strike 3. I was horrified. I honestly couldn't believe what was happening right in front of me. He rubbed the tissue on Bo's teeth again and said "now do you smell it?" I answered, "yes". "Still as bad?", he asked. "Yes", I replied again. He then made the technician smell it...who kind of shrugged. Still, he stuck by his suggestion to brush his teeth and the bacteria in the "slime" of his mouth would begin to get better. I resolved that I wasn't going to get anywhere with him in explaining again that this had only been happening over the last couple of days and that his appetite had been less as well. At that point, I think he was ready to wrap up the appointment, but said "it could be his anal glands you're smelling, but that is REALLY bad stuff". Which I had already explained to him. So I humored him and said that yes, I understood that. He then said "well, I can go express his glands and see if that's what you're smelling" but I said that I had heard and read that that wasn't a good idea before a dog was 1 year old. He literally brushed that off with a pfft and wave of his hand and reached for Bo. I said "no, I don't want to do that". He sat down and was clearly irritated with me. He looked at his notes again and I said "You know, I think we're actually done here. I'll pay for the appointment and we'll be on our way." "You know, I think we got off on the wrong foot" which was said like we were on the wrong page, rather than let's try this again. He then said there'd be no charge for the appointment and left the room. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! My daughter, our puppy, and I left with tears in our eyes. Fast forward to the next day, when I was able to get in at the vet office we normally go to, Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital. Within the first 3 minutes of Bo's examination, Dr. Zawadzki opened his mouth to find a stick lodged vertically in the roof of his mouth!! It was heartbreaking but joyous as it was easy to remove and explained what he had been going through. Our poor boy. I've never seen such a lack of compassion, concern or overall professionalism from a Veterinarian. Please, consider this experience before scheduling an appointment. read more

Today Dr White took our lab Pete in today for emergency dental surgery although he was completely booked. Their fees are reasonable, staff professional and kind. Scheduling an appointment was easy, even as a new client. Dr. Bailey and his staff were also very kind and efficient, and made sure to discuss any concerns or problems. They were also very informative about my cat's vaccination schedule and the options for his care (including making sure whether a Feline Leukemia vaccine was necessary). I really appreciate the separate dog and cat entrances. They even put Feliway pheromone diffusers in all of the outlets in the cat area, which shows a sincere effort to create a less stressful environment for their feline patients. All in all, I'll be looking forward to continuing my cat's care with them! read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. While the appearance and people seem like it would be a good clinic, the vet tech we had interactions with was unprofessional, extremely rough and, in my opinion, borderline abusive of our senior animal right in front of us. I had nightmares after witnessing the situation and I can only imagine how they treat animals when the owners are not present.... We will *never* return and advise all other pet owners to do the same! read more

This place is probably fine if you need basic care. I took my Boxer into see Dr. Bailey to have a pea sized mass looked at. He said it could be ' nothing' or ' we could do a needle biopsy', as I am not a vet I asked him what he thought I should do, he shrugged and said it was up to me. I understand I was given an option however again, I'm not a vet. I opted to wait until his follow up 2 weeks later. He was given Apoquel for his allergies. I reported back that the mass had started to flatten. He seemed pleased and said we made the right choice to wait on a biopsy. This mass wasn't going away. I took him back in for a biopsy. At this point Dr Stuart opted to removed it entirely. This mass was NOT fine it was stage 5 cancer and my dog now has about 6/9 months to live. As a vet he should have known to error on the side of caution. As my dog is a Boxer and they are cancer prone he should have known this couldn't be good. Thanks Dr.Bailey. If you would have used your veterinary degree we may have avoided this. read more

Rick White, DVM, is a one of a kind human and one hell of a vet. As a trained surgeon, he did an awesome job of fixing a surgery with a negative outcome done by another vet. Our cat, Gus, is back to being the cat he was before being bitten by a raccoon resulting in 8 puncture wounds. Many thanks to Dr. White and his team! Never had a bad experience with any of my animals and, as Jenni N said, they have never done any tests or procedures that weren't necessary &/or fully explained. Plus, they're honest with you & always tell you the cost of anything (tests, food/supplements, vaccines) up front. Sadly, when one of my older cats was battling diabetes + related issues, my OLD vet would run tests (& more) without telling me first or the price. Unbelievable. My dog hurt her shoulder and we needed an appointment fast. They got us in ASAP and even saw us when we were 30 min late. My dog has seen a vet in 4 states, and this was the first clinic that called the next day to follow up. The clinic was clean and the staff were all accommodating. They also gave my dog a refill on her medication so we didn't have to pay for another visit which was a first in my dogs 12 years. read more
