They took the time to get to know her, monitor her condition closely, and keep us informed every step of the way. It was clear that they truly cared about her well-being, both physically and emotionally. What really stood out was the exceptional leadership in the building. The administrator is absolutely fabulous--approachable, proactive, and clearly committed to maintaining a high standard of care throughout the facility. You could feel the positive energy in the way the entire team worked together, and that culture of excellence made a real difference in my mother-in-law's recovery. My mom has been a resident at Cedar Mountain Post Acute several times over the past three years, starting with her first stay after breaking her hip. Since then, she has returned for IV treatments, additional rehab stays, and now even attends outpatient rehab twice a week by choice! The care she receives at Cedar Mountain is exceptional. The entire team from the rehab staff to the CNAs. They all show her so much love and attention. My mom can be a bit particular, a little stubborn at times, but the staff always meet her with patience, kindness, and genuine care. She has grown to truly love Cedar, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing how well she's treated. One of my favorite things to see is how the staff make a point to say hello and check in with her while she's doing her outpatient therapy. It's clear that she's not the only one to feel this way or get this kind of treatment. All the patients seem genuinely happy and well taken care of. This is not a good place to work! The 3 ladies who run the office by the name of Julienne B, Sherri A, and Brittany Bowie are full of shit! They do not do their jobs good but panic when the State surveyors come to the facility! I got fired on the 10th of January simply because a patient's family member complained about me on the 9th of January 2023. They did not do any investigation but chose that reaction against me! The office staff and the patient's mom are all racist! The mom told me that I am an unprofessional black ass! She cursed me MF and FYB! I would like this to go viral so this Cedar Mountain Post acute can remain closed. It was unfair to be at work and to experience some disturbing behaviors from people even after visiting hours! The family members- Mom and dad left the facility at 11:00 pm that night! I'm suing them for respect, racism, discrimination, harassment, and nuisance! read more

I first visited Cedar Mountain Post Acute in the summer of 2022. At that time the facility looked and felt disorganized and lackluster. This made my visit this morning (June of 2025) even more remarkable. I arrived early and walked through the entire building on my own. Every single staff member I passed smiled and said hello, with many asking if they could help me. The building was clean, smelled good, and most importantly, the residents I encountered were happy, dressed well, and mostly active. The therapy gym and spa were both actively being used, and the breakfast being served looked and smelled great. In my role as a healthcare professional, I have visited over 30 different skilled nursing homes over the past 10 years. Hi last night was a nightmare the evening nurse from 7:00 to 7:00 knock shift very negligent I didn't get my pain medication for 12 hours from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and they give me breakfast and expect me to eat my house is starting to deteriorate try to keep all negative things off this review for the sake of the company but I can't buy my tongue no more questions of taking my discrepancies and grievances on a piece of paper and giving it to the office cuz all they do is keep the problem in house and try to hide it from the CMS and HHS department so I have their email and I'm going to be emailing them and waiting on a response email before I send out a zip file containing information to this place has been withholding from them read more

staff is professional, loving, and caring to the patients. The RT's, Rehab department Gary and Jerry are both wonderful and does an outstanding job with my daughter, CNA's, Nurses, The Infection control Carla, Angie DON has a heart of gold. Ceasar is very caring and has a way of making the patients day brighter. My daughter receives the BEST CARE I could ever ask for at Cedar. I know she is in great hands. Juliene the administrator is very good, if it wasn't for her the place would not run as the patients deserve. She makes sure that every department have what they need. Dinah is wonderful as well! Our experience at Cedar Mountain Post Acute was made truly special thanks to Sarah G, the Activities Assistant. During a recent visit to see my grandmother, Sarah went above and beyond to make our time together meaningful. She took the time to play Grandma's favorite music and even set us up with a creative craft activity that had us all smiling and bonding. Sarah's warmth, creativity, and genuine care turned a regular visit into one of the most uplifting days we've had in a long time. I highly recommend this facility! They took such wonderful care of my husband and got him so much stronger in a short four week stay. The whole complete staff goes over and beyond to see that all needs and concerns are addressed and rectified quickly. A special shout out to Angelica who nurses with such care a unrelenting energy, we will miss her and so many of the friends we made. Also Raz, Mark, Chandice, Olga, Nickai and every one of the therapists. Too many to name personally but they really do and outstanding job with activities as well as any administrative needs. My experience to now has been a lovely stay and helpful people, but I can see this building going down to help going down my fat and now I've got infections because of their lack of cleaning me and I just want to make people aware that they should check into this place a little better, but to me there has been one of the best places I've been at until about the last six months so so that's all I have to say I still wish this place the best place and I'm not planning on leaving, but I would look into this a little better and not get too excited about it read more

Came to visit my grandma a couple days ago and she was so happy because a CNA (Fiana Albarran) had given her 2 bracelets after hers were lost she was so thankful and so happy that fiana had came by and gave them to her out of kindness of her heart! We really appreciate her helping her out and everything shes a great cna. Shes one of the very few that my grandma liked lol. Went to visit a family friend here and was amazed by the professionalism of staff here. I had a concern and was able to speak to Keshia the DSD who explained she was fairly new. But she indeed has the answers we needed. She is exceptional, soft spoken and ensured all the questions we had was answered. Who ever hired her did the company good, she helped us with clarification of different medications and any issues we had. read more
