We have been going to Jade Palace for years, and it never disappoints, but this was truly the best meal we have ever had here! The ribs were crispy and absolutely delicious, the egg rolls were perfectly crisp and flavorful, the pepper steak was tender and packed with flavor, and the chicken lo mein was cooked to perfection. Every dish was outstanding. Hugh is a fantastic manager who runs a wonderful restaurant with such great energy and hospitality. This is a more biased review as I'm not a huge fan of Asian food, I don't eat meat and I don't like rice/noodles etc. We came as a group as the others so LOVE this place. Although I do eat seafood I am not a fan of stir fry's etc- lots of oil so picking a healthier I item here is difficult. Yes they have 2 "healthy light items" and I tried the shrimp option but it really wasn't anything exciting nor would I return for it. I also had the egg drop soup which WAS delicious (all other soups have meat in it). Desserts were nothing exciting beyond ice cream. Jade palace is a Chinese sit down restaurant with a more upscale interior. The service was attentive, though we had mix-ups where the server got the order wrong and brought out the wrong things more than once. The food itself was overpriced for pretty average dishes. My favorite was probably the spicy eggplant and shrimp in lobster sauce. Although a decent meal overall, I have had much more authentic and flavorful Chinese food at other restaurants in Phoenix for a much more affordable price. Great spot, we come here when my family is craving some good Chinese food. Portions are big so there's usually leftovers. Their plum wine is my go to beverage to pair with whichever dish I choose for the evening. This night, I went with cashew chicken and it was delicious. Service is always friendly. My parents and I ordered from Jade Palace on New Years Eve and it was fantastic! It's one of my parents go-to spot for Chinese food near them in Scottsdale, and I can see why. On NYE an order for pick up took about an hour, so something to keep in mind -- they were super busy! Jade Palace has a great selection of chicken, beef, and seafood, so we ordered a little bit of everything and shared family style. Some of my favorites were the jumbo shrimp, general tso's, and the the spicy eggplant. All the mains come with white rice, and most came with vegetables too. Everything was so delicious, even my picky two year old was a fan! The servings are large and we were able to eat it for lunch the next day too. I order take out quite a bit and have gotten home to have them give me the wrong order, no rice, the wrong rice and the food that I love has tasted like it was cooked in bad oil. I had the wor wonton soup which was delightful with a strong, flavorful broth, veggies and one shrimp. The broth was on the saltier side but not offensive. I noted that the wontons were not delicate; probably those premade frozen ones. My shrimp in lobster sauce came with plump, juicy shrimp which were not overcooked. The sauce was on the salty side, but I like salt so I ate it. The chef should keep this in mind since other people are not so forgiving. The General Tso's chicken was amazing with notes of sweet and sour. The portions on both dishes were great. The service was friendly and attentive. We'll always come back. read more

Food quality for some items have stayed consistent but some dishes have gone down. The egg plant was brimming in oil and didn't taste that good as last time. The Fried Rice was very fresh and always delicious but chicken pieces were way too large. The Shrimp Chow Fun could have had more sauce as few of the noodles were hard and hard to chew. Kick ASSS Sea Bass! I usually don't care for fish dishes, but this one blew me away. It was so buttery, delicate, and delicious. I often get safer options like chicken, beef, or pork & and noodles, which are also AMAZING at Jade Palace. My husband ordered the Sea Bass, and now I can't stop wanting & thinking about it. It came SIZZLING on a skillet it's the best fish I've ever tasted. He had to order a 2nd round, I ate most of his order.. The food here is made to order, clean, pure, and always FRESH! We usually sit at the bar, which is quite entertaining in North Scottdale (tell Hugh Suzy said HI!). They have great wines & sometimes have wine dinner pairings with high-end wineries. This is our go to Chinese Restaurant on uber eats. Tonight I was disappointed as there were several pieces of bone in our orange chicken and parts of the chicken were inedible tough and very chewy. This is not normally our experience. I'm not sure if they have a different kind of chicken that they are using or what is going on. We were very disappointed tonight. The egg rolls were great. Not sure why people like this place. We are fairly new to the area and it was recommended to us by a couple of people. We got take out and ordered two things under House specialties: the four seasons and the sweet and pungent shrimp. Both dishes were bland, even though I marked that I wanted the shrimp to be hot. The food was not hot in temperature and didn't have much flavor. We will likely give the restaurant one more try because it was crowded in there. Great Uber Eats experience with Jade Palace. Although, we mainly go to the restaurant and eat, this time we wanted to stay home and order in. I like how they completely seal the bag for delivery. I had never been to Jade Palace before so I was excited to give it a try! I grew up in NJ where you can find a lot of great Chinese restaurants. I would say in terms of both ambience and food, Jade Palace is the closest thing to remind me of those back east Chinese restaurants. I went with my daughter who is 10 so she wanted the sweet and sour chicken. It was good, but it was a little bland for my taste - perfect for her though. I preferred the other dish we ordered which was Mongolian beef. The beef was tender, and I loved all the onions. We also ordered chicken fried rice. I would say it was basic fried rice. I would definitely go back to Jade Palace - the service was good. The only thing I can say is the prices are a little high, but I felt like the quality was good. For our 2 dishes, fried rice, one glass of wine, lemonade, and tip - we were at $100. read more
