Giuseppe's is a top notch restaurant and I've always had a great experience here. From the moment…read moreyou walk in, you are treated kindly by the very polite and professional staff. The atmosphere is very relaxing, with a comfortable yet slightly upscale atmosphere. The food and drinks are both amazing. Drinks are well prepared and the menu rotates with the seasons. The sangrias and specialty martinis are all so delicious and are expertly crafted. The pizzas are outstanding - toppings are all high quality and their weekly pizza specials are always unique and delicious. The salads, chicken entrees, and pasta are all excellent as well. I've never had a bad meal here.

Giuseppe's Pizzeria and Bistro is upscale in the best way. Dark wood, brick floors, pendant lights over a small bar. The lights are dim but the room is inviting and intimate. When we arrived, it wasn't empty, wasn't slammed. Nothing felt rushed. Everything moved at the right pace, giving us time to talk, time to savor, time to just enjoy being there. Even after we paid, no one hurried us out. The room was filling up around us, but we never felt it. Fresh plates for every course. Water refilled when it emptied (not before we noticed, exactly when). Every time we said thank you, our server said "of course" like she truly meant it. The focaccia came out warm. Tear it open and you see irregular holes. That takes hours, not shortcuts. They bring whipped garlic butter because it spreads easier, but the bread's good enough alone. Four meatballs arrived, tender enough they fell apart as I tried to work them through the sauce. Took surgeon hands. Pool the red sauce on your plate or spoon some over the top of each bite. Without it, they're bland. With it, they're quite good. The pepperoni pizza came out right. Char on the crust, pepperoni curling into little grease cups, cheese stretching six inches on those first bites. The sauce is light. The crust ends taste a little like char and semolina. I'm a sauce guy. Always have been. This pizza wasn't what I look for, but the people around us all looked happy to be there and with their food. Giuseppe's making the pizza his customers want. Fruit crumble for dessert. Fresh blueberries and peaches, vanilla ice cream. I enjoyed the peach side more than the blueberries, which was unexpected. The peaches were a little less sweet. The blueberries? Really sweet. Fresh and enjoyable. Giuseppe's fills up for a reason. The service is the best I've experienced in months. People were taking their time, talking, enjoying everything that was in front of them. They seemed like they knew they were somewhere special. They got it right.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!

But the restaurant itself was spacious and decorated nicely. We were sat in a dining area off to the front that did get a little noisy. Our waitress was friendly but not overly personable. However, she did get the job done. Another waiter brought over an extra chair that the party in the table in front of us didn't need so he left it right in front of my party so we couldn't get out. A little weird but not the end of the world. For dinner we started with the fried pickles. They were nice and crispy and portion was pretty generous for $10. We could have used more of the sauce though. My main meal was the chicken parm sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich I felt was a little small for the price tag. Chicken was cut into strips with some funky pieces and not overly crispy. Tater tots were an extra $2 but the container they came in wasn't an impressive size either. So, why three stars? The Trap isn't a bad restaurant but I felt that the price didn't justify average food. I think I'd come back again to try something else in the future though.

I got the flash dance drink (coffee and vodka). We also got the the fried mozzarella- it looked really good but it wasn't flavorful at all. When we bit into it, it squirted out with water and got everywhere. The marinara sauce didn't help the flavor either. We also got the crispy Brussels which were really good! The place was busy and was setting up for live music. We were seated very quickly. Would come back but wouldn't recommend the mozzarella bites to anyone ever.

Service was great - There was a mixup with my drink and the server took care of it immediately. Our server checked in on us frequently, and was polite and friendly. It was about 2:30/3pm when I got to The Trap. 2. The Exhaustive, Non-Restorative FatigueWhile widespread muscular pain is the most famous symptom, the chronic fatigue can be just as debilitating, if not worse. Patients often describe it as feeling like a severe, never-ending case of the flu. Even after a full night's rest, many wake up feeling utterly drained because the condition prevents them from entering deep, restorative sleep cycles.3. "Fibro Fog" or Cognitive ImpairmentFor many, the physical symptoms are compounded by brain fog. This causes significant issues with memory, focus, and verbal recall. Struggling to think clearly, absorb new information, or maintain mental clarity can severely impact daily work and personal independence. So this tells you alone, that my disability is exhaustion, pain, depression, no energy. And I think after running around all day and finally wanting to relax, maybe that's why I sounded "different". Because my body was exhausted, no energy....I WAS EXHAUSTED & figured it's beautiful out, I haven't been out like this in a long time bc of work and stuff, enjoy yourself for a little while, get some sun....and live 3 mins away. Anyway, today (next day) I called...the manger on the phone was professional & issued a refund. Because quite frankly, they don't know what happened in the hours before in my day, and it seems they like to pick & choose who they pick on... no matter what the, bottom line is it's all right there, and the doctors say exhaustion has the same symptoms as someone being drunk or "under the influence". Also I wasn't stumbling around, unable to speak-AT ALL. A gentle with people to the left of me heard me just fine when I asked him about "NP combining schools" because that's where I group up, but he had no problem understanding me, and explaining to me what was happening. I think they are a little too much with making up their minds before considering all the reasons a person could sound down or out of it or "different" .. especially when it's hot , I hadn't eaten, I was running errands all day, driving, stopping here, stopping there, then I had to go court to pay speeding ticket I got going to work. And was happy that went well & I even got in because there was as a bad accident on 95N. And door was locked but someone got me in and the judge was laughing, not mad at all.She didn't think I sounded different... at all. So I walked out smiling , that was done & went well, my legs started aching a bit but I was finally feeling like the old me again.... so I decided I would head to the trap to enjoy an hr or so outside sipping on a drink, decided to do a shot and the whole time they were deciding what kind of person I "am" & what they thought of me. And that's where it ended up. The Trap in East Greenwich! I've never had a problem, shout out to Alex and I believe Steph, it's been so long I forgot names! And the dude always bobbing his head and singing and dancing serving drinks!! I'll def come back there. Next time I'm at the trap in Smithfield I'll be with my man, and I might just pull the manager aside (If she doesn't see this review) and give her a little education on reasons why someone can sound different or drag their words. Other than that , I walked in with a smile, was respectful, people person talking to bartender. I went down the stairs (skipped) down the stairs (would've fell if I was drunk) and enjoyed a cigarette with a beautiful view of the lake & nature. I finally ALMOST could say , I pushed through the exhaustion & the pain and I made it through the day to where I had to go, and I WON TODAY FIBROMYALGIA. But yet again, Fibro is the one reason she probably felt I was on something because AGAIN , I don't sleep though night , maybe 4 hrs total but not straight , woke up at 330/430am and I was awake from there, and the rest of the day. Soon as 7-8pm hit I was in car with man in passenger seat and my legs were killing me. The everyday things that people do. ITS DIFFERENT FOR US. I walked in and out of some stores and court for my little speeding ticket, and at the trap and because of fibromyalgia , my legs were aching so bad I was ready to cry. LEARN ABOUT DISABILITIES IF YOU'RE GOING TO WORK WITH PEOPLE YOU DO NOT KNOW FROM A WHOLE IN THE WALL......That walk in and look completely normal, but you have NO IDEA WHAT COULD INTERNALLY BE WRONG. And what i experienced and how you handled it and treated me should be a lesson for both of us.

Delaney understood the assignment and got our food to us quick! At one point she apologized for not checking on us sooner, but really she checked on us often. She was lovely and engaging! My friend ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with tots. I tried a a tot and they were crispy! I had the bang bang shrimp bowl. The shrimp and sauce on the shrimp was great and the avocado was super creamy. The rice was a little hard though, kind of like day old rice (rice I would have used to make fried rice honestly.) I wish the dish came with a side of the sauce to mix in with the other veggies and rice. While we were there I saw someone eating dessert and also saw the salmon entree. Both looked great! They also offer tons of specials throughout the week. I'll definitely be back!
