Grilled Cajun chicken
Nova L.

Food- I really disliked everything I ordered a bowl of seafood chowder for appetizers it was so thick and bland in flavor for my meal I got the chicken wings hot honey I asked them for well done they were definitely not well done, the hot honey flavor taste like barbecue sauce nothing like hot honey maybe a make change would be fitting for that sauce, I also got the southwest salad it was okay I really enjoyed the dressing. My friend ordered the green apple & pecan said with Cajun chicken she really enjoyed the said it was really good, but the chicken came out plain so they had to remake it as Cajun chicken and it cane out completely burnt so she didn't eat it. She also ordered the cauliflower for an appetizer they were just okay they could've used more seasoning and sauce Service - the service was fast even with it being a full house, I didn't like that my opinion wasn't taken into consideration because I did complain about the chicken and was ignored Ambiance- large space, very room, stage for bands on certain nights there was a singer there the Thursday we went, they also offer weekly specials different things on certain nights. The outdoor patio and bar is nice for summer! I won't be back but I got to experience it

Food: the brussel sprouts were actually my favorite. Had a nice sweetness and were really crispy. Wings crispy, but taste wasn't outstanding. Bao buns weren't bad either. Table was right next to the serve station, so we had good service. Extras: decent parking lot. Mostly high top seating, but also has other seating as well. I believe they also have a down stairs area for events. Liked the old school selection of music, and the wall behind the bar was really good in graphics.

Not impressed.. came here with a few work friends to catch up and have lunch..We were greeted and seated right away as it was not busy at all.. employees seemed to be "around" but our service was pretty slow.. there were a lot of flies out on the deck area.. so it was hard to enjoy the beautiful weather. I just feel like this location was not as good as Warwick, which I've been a few times and always had a great experience.. I will give this one another try though because I understand there are "off days" . I ordered a southwest salad with crispy chicken. Chicken was delicious but salad was soggy after just a few minutes.. fries were cold.. others at my table had both good and bad comments about their orders as well.. just unfortunate to have a negative experience here with friends on our day off. Hopefully next time is better !

Great place to be! Live music, and a gorgeous restaurant. Plenty of parking can be found around the restaurant. Server and cashiers are all extremely friendly! They're very attentive and that's awesome in a space where it's busy and can be potentially packed. Food was awesome! They have a menu that switches throughout the day which is very creative. They also offer live music that are covers of popular songs from what I've heard. The music isn't always playing so if you're not a fan of loud music or genre choice you don't have to expect it every time you go; I on the other hand truly enjoyed it. The scenery is creative, whether you want to sit at a high top, a booth, the bar, there are so many options of different seatings that serve so many different vibes. It's worth a try. I can easily see myself returning, there's a lot on their menu that I'd like to try, and the cost isn't too bad, stand prices you'd find a sit in restaurant.

We hit this place on Sunday afternoon, around 2pm-ish. I like to off times and miss crowds. The queer-o-meter is a 10! Thanks Trap for allowing a comfortable place for all. Onward... it's loud. Country music belting out from the speakers and lots of TVs with various sports and cooking shows on. The acoustics are pretty good so even being loud I could still talk to my wife and not feel like we were yelling. I'm old, those things matter. We got fried mozzarella, the tofu bowl and the americano burger with tots. I don't have anything negative to say! The portions are good sized, the food was fresh, hot and delicious. I suppose my only "con" is the tots are $2 extra - they're good but as a substitute for fries for $2 more seemed a little much. And if that's my only food complaint, we're doing a-okay. The server was SO nice a really nice young woman. She handled taking back and redoing a mojito with utter pleasantries, and made the situation/drink right. Also a huge plus in my eyes. All in all we'd definitely go back. OH there is one other con: the high booths in back are brutal to slide into and out of. I can't imagine how a group sitting there would handle it. Go to the restroom before you sit! Cheers!

Finally came here for food instead of just drinks and the food was pretty good. I came with my parents on their "Wing it Wednesdays" where you buy one drink then buy a pound of wings, but get a pound free. 1 lb is $11 and you get 7 wings. They were cooked perfectly and quite large. I love their sauce options, I got Gochujang and Honey Hot, then my mother got Buffa-Q and BBQ with her sauces on the side instead of dressed. My dad bought a regular burger for $16 and said it was pretty good. It did look a little small to me and it was mostly bread though. My beverage was a holiday spice bear because they didn't have shipyard pumpkin head available and it wasn't that great. It tasted too light, kind of like a Bud Light. However, my mother got a cider beer (not angry orchard) and it was fantastic! All this for $56 is really good and I'll be back soon to try the nachos. Our waitress was great even though service was a little slow for not being busy. Great atmosphere as normal, but last time I came the music was way too loud.

The Trap has a casual vibe yet trying to be upscale. The place is quite spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside has several TV's, a stage for live performances, and a good-sized bar. I've been here twice, once for brunch and another time for dinner. Brunch was very basic in taste and presentation. I enjoyed my dinner but the rest of my group was disappointed with theirs. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options. The staff was friendly both visits but seem to be inexperienced.

As I'm writing this I'm regretting not playing one of the arcade games they have. The service was friendly, quick. Beers were delicious. It wasn't my favorite Pilsner but the IPA I got was spot on, should have stuck to it. Nice little Sunday afternoon. Oh, and there was a food truck - I didn't eat but my friends got some snacks. Snacks are always good.

This place has been on my list for a long…read moretime and when I realized where it was I thought this would be great to check out after a busy afternoon of errands along Route 1. It's located right at the entrance of an industrial area. There is a very small lot for parking but it was completely full when we visited today, so we parked along the road where a number of other cars were also parked. This seemed to be okay and the signs just requested folks not park on the grass. The entrance is set back from the street so you kind of need to go around towards the back. We saw they had a food truck, Farm to Sandwich, which although kind of pricey, was super delicious. We both got the All American Smash burger with fries. Fries were so crisp and well crafted and the burger was amazing with a great sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. For beers, since it was our first time here, we decided to try a bit of everything with flights. Their flights are $13 for 4, 5 oz pours. I chose the Coffee Milk Stout, You are Such an Ass, Bienvenu and Justin's Jangle. We started which the You are Such an Ass IPA, which was described as a light IPA but really didn't taste like an IPA at all. We honestly thought they had poured us the wrong beer. As IPA enthusiasts, this was disappointing. The Bienvenu, which is a Red Ale with Panela (unrefined Colombian sugar cane) was infinitely better. The Coffee Milk Stout, I understand is very popular, but I thought this was average. Justin's Jangle, a Maple Praline Porter was my favorite! Really nice, complex brew! We also really enjoyed the live music from Jake Frezza, a local musician out of North Providence. He sang and played guitar and covered a diverse sampling of songs including Brittney Spears (Toxic), James Taylor and Marvin Gaye. His version of "What's Going On" was particularly excellent. I normally dread listening to live performers at breweries but this guy is actually very talented! Kudos to Ravenous for engaging such a high quality musician! Also, for a Saturday, it was not overcrowded or over run with kids. There was just one family with a super quiet baby and we noted just one dog inside. On exiting, I saw they have a nice memorial where they offer to pour a beer to a fallen service member. Very nice! Gender neutral restrooms Pinball Separate rooms make it quieter than breweries in just one big industrial space. Friendly service at the bar and no lines! Bar stools with no back, kind of uncomfortable and there seemed to be no other seating options like chairs or sofas. In summary: Highlights: Bienvenu Red Ale Justin's Jangle Jake Frezza live music Nice memorial to fallen soldiers Low Lights: You are Such an Ass IPA Barstools/ seating Would definitely stop back here again when in the area!

Beer'd Brewing Company is a craft brewery that opened in Stonington, Connecticut in November 2012…read more It was founded by husband and wife Aaron Simoncini and Precious Putnam. After enrolling in a class entitled "Beers of the World" in college, Simoncini became very interested in craft beer and soon began homebrewing. It was during this time that he gained the nickname "Beer'd". Eventually with his now-wife Putnam, Simoncini set out to open his own brewery. The couple set up shop at the Velvet Mill in Stonington. The historic building was originally home to the American Velvet Company, which operated from 1892 to 1996. Today it is a multipurpose building that is home to a thriving community of small businesses and artist studios. When Beer'd originally opened in the mill, they had just a 100-barrel system. The brewery quickly became notable for their small-batch high quality IPAs. In 2018, Beer'd opened a secondary facility at the Airport Business Park in Groton. This new 12,000-sq-ft space expanded their production capacity to 6,000 barrels. An adjoining 60-seat taproom (dubbed "Beer'd Brewing @ The Silo") opened at the Groton facility in January 2020. To differentiate the two taprooms, the original location in Stonington is now often referred to as "Beer'd Brewing @ The Mill". I first visited Beer'd in 2013 (when they were just one of a small handful of breweries in Connecticut), and I've been a huge fan of their beer ever since. They are one of my favorite Connecticut breweries and I have visited them multiple times; they were even a stop on my brewery bus tour bachelor party. I also must point out that Aaron and Precious are lovely people. I recently stopped there while I was in the area. It had been a while since my last visit and there were a few changes. In addition to the original taproom, Beer'd has set up an indoor beer garden in the center of the Velvet Mill. Patrons can enjoy some beer paired with food from one of the mill's many food vendors. Beer'd also set up a designated "Dog Den" for patrons to enjoy a beer if they have furry friends. During this visit, I enjoyed a taster flight that featured "8 Days A Week" (Pale Ale), "Stunner For the Win" (New England IPA), "An Unexpected Upgrade" (Double IPA), and "Heavy Weight-Of-Sound" (Triple IPA). They were all excellent! I plan to continue enjoying Beer'd beers for years to come!

I tried a couple of beers but none of them were good. I finally settled on an IPA but found myself…read moreonly able to drink half of it. Love the logo though, but the beer was just not good. Wanted to like this place as the logo looks like me but just couldn't :(
