    Chocolate chip muffin

Food: I got a hot chocolate which was very good, one of the best I've had in a while actually. The chocolate chip muffin was dry. Marble rye bread was really really good, with not too much butter. Fruit cup was a good size, however a strawberry had mild right on the top of it. The pancakes were golden, but also dry, and was ordered with chocolate chips but there were not a lot of them in/on the pancake. Service: The staff were very friendly and food took a reasonable time to come out. Went at 9am on a Sunday morning and there was not wait. Ambiance: Music was not played too loudly, and was perfect for the setting. Table and chairs were clean. I overall recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, and highly recommend getting the marble rye toast.

Corned beef hash potato skillet. O M G delish!! It comes with your way eggs, I chose not to get any. 2 slices your choice of toast.

Sooo yummy, fresh and hot. Love the daily water they change up with different fruit slices or vegetable combination. Everyone is always nice. Plenty of table seatings and clean bathrooms. Very much recommend for breakfast or lunch

I was considering having the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding here, I found the space to be very quaint, comfortable, and just the right size for our group of 40'ish people. We visited for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to get a better feel for the space. I was very impressed with the friendly service, and the quality of our meals. I couldn't resist ordering the breakfast, even though it was lunchtime. Everything was excellent. We had the rehearsal dinner here and I can't say enough about how wonderful it turned out. Dakota and her staff were outstanding with helping to coordinate all the details. The food was very good- we had steak tips, chicken Parm, two different kinds of salads and a pasta dish that were all cooked perfectly! Pricing is very reasonable. The service was outstanding and I highly recommend hosting your private event at the Cedar St., Café!

"If the door is open it isn't theft You can't return to where you've never left The foolish pride that sends you back for more Up on Cedarwood, Cedarwood Road" (U2) It's a coffee bar, a bakery, and a restaurant that's open Tuesday through Sunday from 7-2. They offer breakfast and lunch menus every day, but on Sunday its breakfast only. You'll find them inside the Wight Farm complex at 420 Main Street, but be sure to enter the big parking lot from Cedar Street to get there. Don't make the same mistake we made and look for a Main Street entrance! Our server Rachel was super cool - funny, engaging, professional and quite awesome. We walked in a little after noon on a Saturday and went right to the breakfast menu. I ordered the Southwest Burrito, a big serving with scrambled eggs, sausage, roasted jalapeno, onion, red pepper, and corn for $10. The menu said it would be served with a peppered cheese sauce that I declined. It was served with an equally big serving of grilled potato chunks. I loved my meal - half of the burrito and potatoes were quite delicious and filling, so I'll enjoy the other half soon. At $10, it was excellent and a helluva great value. My wife ordered The Cafe Breakfast of two eggs with home fries and toast for $9. She ordered her eggs "Over Medium", but she said they were cooked a little too long to qualify as "Over Medium" because the yolk is supposed to be slightly runny instead of stationary. That quibble aside, we really enjoyed our visit to the Cedar Street Cafe. Our two breakfasts and an iced coffee ran just $22,50 before tax and tip, and we did take home half of my dish and half of her home fries.

Been here twice and with times it was A+++ food and service. Monte Cristo, breakfast burrito, omelett, cedar reuben, all amazing. Coffee best I've had in a long time. I like it black and wife likes flavored and we both are trying to find out what the brand is. Do yourself a favor and come here. You'll thank me.

This is a tough review because I really wanted to love this place. Dropped in on a Tuesday and no breakfast..no kitchen...so I went with a latte and a peach muffin. The service was great but a cold muffin and an ok latte was not what I was looking for. Would try again but if you are looking for breakfast don't go on Monday or Tuesday.

Really nice place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea.

The brisket was my absolute favorite--so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. When we arrived, the place was full, which honestly had me betting big that the food would live up to the hype--and it absolutely did. Even the other customers were friendly, and the staff was just as welcoming. My fiancé and I shared the two-meat platter, and thank goodness we did--it was more than enough food. We were stuffed and still had leftovers (which I'm very much looking forward to eating again). If we ever pass through this way again, I'll definitely be making him stop here. Can't wait to come back!

Ribs very beefy and excellent. Mac and cheese needed stronger multi cheese blend, maybe a few toasted breadcrumbs on top ? Cucumber salad needed a pinch of sugar to sweeten up the vinegar . Corn bread ok , needs more flavor with real corn mixed in, lose the paper wrappers and bake in pans directly ... or change to a biscuit with honey butter . The owner was working the line first visit and things moving. Second visit : same points mentioned above, but this time smaller quantity of brisket and drier? The ribs smaller and drier ? 2 different food prep guys this time and noticed difference from visit day before? I did try one smoked wing this visit and wing wax excellent smoke tender wing. I think k things improved since the Worcester location closed? It still can be excellent food one time and an average or worse the next visit... inconsistent When the Brisket is on ... it is great stuff When it is off... dry underwhelming... They should make a brisket or burnt end hash as option ... Redbones bbq in Boston used to do a brisket hash that was excellent and unique .

There weren't too many people there, but it made for a lowkey dinner. The food arrived quickly, and everything we had was actually much better than we were expecting. Cool concept with all of the books lining the dining room, and we appreciated that you could take 3 for free. Also walked around the book cellar too. There weren't really any titles that grabbed us though. My main critique is that it was pretty dusty... we looked at one of the lights and the cobwebs on it made it look like a Halloween decoration. You have to wonder if the dining room is that neglected, how bad is the state of the kitchen? Wouldn't be in a rush to come back, but glad I can say I've been to what's considered such an iconic roadside stop.

Good sweets and coffee for the area…read more I've been to this stretch of the woods a lot back in the day. But never really stopped in because it was Covid times. Now I was back in the area and decided to come in and try. The place was a lot more like a bar and restaurant than expected. Lots of seats and a hostess station up front. We went straight back to the bakery counter to order up some sweets and drinks. I got a snickers latte, and a peanut butter bar. Missus got a carrot cake pop, a coconut and chocolate danish, a custom green tea. Drinks came out quick, and we got our sips and bites in. The carrot cake pop was tasty. Very much a carrot cake in flavor and consistency. Warm spices, cream cheese chocolate coating, it was the best bite. The peanut butter bar, too sweet. I prefer to taste the peanut butter rather than the sugar. The same was true of the coconut danish. Too sugary for the dessert, but a good amount of coconut filling. The drinks were also pretty sweet as well. The coffee got masked by the sugar and the caramel overpowered. Wasn't bad, just very sweet focused. Pricing was high, but that area of the state is always a little pricier. It's a decent sweets shack, but I prefer a little balance for the price paid.
