Egg, ham, and cheese, grilled croissant.

The, egg, ham, and cheese croissant was absolutely delicious. The best I have ever had. The iced specialty coffee was also excellent. The service was top-notch and the ambience was cozy with the two different areas you could sit in. I would highly recommend this place.

Service was very kind. So many things to pick from on the menu. Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee!!

This place was a great breakfast stop on a road trip! It's easily accessible off the Pike with a big parking lot and lots on seating space, both inside and outside. On arriving into the coffee shop, there are tons of cute items for purchase from local vendors which is a nice touch. The menu is clearly displayed (a little ahead of the ordering counter which is nice to allow you to really look at it!) and is extensive for both breakfast and lunch with multiple vegetarian options. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches (bagels) and two iced coffees. They have some flavored ice coffee with syrup and some brewed right into the beans (without sugar). There's also a huge baked good selection all of which looked amazing. They have some smaller danishes and mini muffins too which is great if you want a small treat. The seating space is ample with differently sized tables for all groups. The food was tasty - bagels were great (a little on the denser/chewy side but very enjoyable) and the fillings were substantial. Coffees were large and did the job! We will be back on further trips west! Staff was kind and answered our questions.

THE BEST COFFEE AND LOX BAGEL I'VE EVER HAD!! And I'm from NJ, there's a lot of coffee houses and bagel shops out there. COME HERE, I'll be here every morning for the rest of my trip!!

"One cup of coffee, then I'll go; Though I just dropped by to let you know That I'm leaving you tomorrow; I'll cause you no more sorrow: One cup of coffee, then I'll go" (Bob Marley) We had a very enjoyable lunch at the Sturbridge Coffee House. As we walked in, we saw a pretty good sized line waiting to order, so right off the bat I knew this was a popular place. The line snaked us past a big menu board of lunch sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, salads, smoothies and coffees. Soon we were in front of a service window, and realized this was for pick ups and not ordering. Soon we made our way to a second counter and showcases at the front of the line. We ordered a Best BLT on a croissant ($13.50) and a Sanchez breakfast sandwich ($7.75). After we gave our order, the young lady attached the prder ticket to a metal clip that was attached to an overhead wire, reached back, and gave it a might fling over to the first service window area which was the kitchen. Pretty cool!! The BLT had a good portion of thick cut bacon, It was served with just a pickle slice, so I think the $13.50 was a bit overpriced. My Sanchez was a Jalapeno Cheddar bagel, fried egg, pepper jack cjeese, chipotle mayo, and Boar's Head thick cut bacon. It was delicious and priced right at $7.75) I also had a medium cappucino that was one of the very best I ever had. We also grabbed a big slice of blueberry coffee cake to take home with us. We really loved our visit and had the BLT been priced differently, this would have been a 5-Star review.

    Morning Meditation Drink! So good.

I LOVED my BLT and Morning Meditation Juice. It was actually so unbelievably yummy. It did take a while for the food to come out, but I think it was worth the wait. The coffee my fiancé got was incredible too. They had plenty of room inside and out of the cafe. They even had a cute play area for little ones.

I love this place, but it hasn't priced me out. Last week I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon, and a small latte, it was $21.00.

The cheese sauce was a bit runny making it hard to eat politely. We had a steak and cheese and a turkey sandwich, both with house chips. The water there tasted awful, we did have to order bottled. They should probably consider a filtration system. Before I came I thought this was a high end place but upon arrival realized it's quite casual. We were in the downstairs bar, I understand there is an upstairs so maybe that is fancier? Either way it's super laid back. I will say the bathroom near the bar need an update. It was not just dirty, it was run down and ragged. Our lunch /drinks for 2 was $180 with tip and I would expect a decent bathroom and drinkable water for that level of restaurant pricing.

The key was the savory broth and three types of onion. Cheese (Gruyère) and large croutons completed this delicious soup. My wife and I also had small Caesar salads, mind with added anchovies, and these were also great. We were there on Memorial Day (Monday) and it was really quiet, but I can imagine it would be crowded on weekends.

There weren't too many people there, but it made for a lowkey dinner. The food arrived quickly, and everything we had was actually much better than we were expecting. Cool concept with all of the books lining the dining room, and we appreciated that you could take 3 for free. Also walked around the book cellar too. There weren't really any titles that grabbed us though. My main critique is that it was pretty dusty... we looked at one of the lights and the cobwebs on it made it look like a Halloween decoration. You have to wonder if the dining room is that neglected, how bad is the state of the kitchen? Wouldn't be in a rush to come back, but glad I can say I've been to what's considered such an iconic roadside stop.

We had attended MidWinter Mischief and dinner was included. It was a soup buffet - choice of Clam Chowder, Beef Stew or Tomato Vegetable. Westminster crackers. Flaky biscuits. Apple or Pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream for dessert. The waitstaff were in character. Fortunately the food was not! There were long family style tables in the center of the room. We will go back to Old Sturbridge Village when in the area again but we will bring our own lunch or go down the road to Panera for a fresh, healthy lunch. Could even have Panera deliver to our car in the parking lot and eat under a tree in the shade. Hopefully others taking their families to the village will see this review and plan ahead to bring food and drinks with them so they are not ripped off with gross food and overpriced drinks.

Just a little a this 'n that" (Pete Seeger) My final review of 2022 will describe the worst customer service we encountered all year. We had an errand to run in Sturbridge and figured we'd include a lunch stop in town. The Yelp app brought us to Soup to Nuts. #1) I love soup and #2) it's located inside the Sturbridge Marketplace, so we figured we'd do some shopping and browsing too. When we approached Soup to Nuts we saw a sign that said they opened at 11:00. The front door had another sign that said they opened at 12:00. Since the door was locked, and it was about 11:30, we figured we'd check out the Sturbridge Flea Market and come back. At 12:02 their front door was unlocked, and the sign announcing the 12:00 opening was gone. As we entered the restaurant, we were "greeted" by four words spoken (or more accurately snarled) in a very gruff and rude manner - "we're not open yet". Tone of voice matters, and I will look you straight in the eye and put my hand on a stack of bibles and tell you his tone was beligerant and angry (to the point of aggressive). It was beyond rude. It was shocking. So we turned around, left and never came back. Happy New Year ya filthy animal.

I will say that on our first visit we thought the owner was initially a bit gruff as others had mentioned but we quickly realized that's not the case and he is an incredibly gracious host.
