To my horror, I recently suffered an embarrassing (and completely unanticipated) "bridge failure" leaving me looking quite Haalloweenish. I quickly accepted the counsel provided by several local dental professionals and called the Cedarbrook Dental team. Once again, the value of a stellar reputation paid off handsomely. The entire staff was amazing; and I felt an instant affinity. The highpoint of my experience was none other than Dr. Peter Elton himself. Not only did he immediately (& compassionately) address my embarrassing dilemma, he met me at 6am the very next morning, on his scheduled day off mind you, to completely re-install a brand new temporary bridge which instantly returned my confidence and smile. My permanent fixture is being built as I write and I can't tell you how appreciative I am for the kindness and compassion each member of the Cedarbrook team showed. Quite frankly, on a scale of 1-10, I'd definitely assess The Cedarbrook Dental group a score of 12.5!!! Nope. $500 later for my annual exam, I was told by the office staff to pay the bill, they had no obligation to write any of it off. I emailed them, with no reply by anyone in the practice, did they even look at the comment? There are plenty of dentists in the area, excellent dentists, and they take a wide range of insurance, not a limited few companies. Make sure they answer if your insurance is preferred and know how much you will be paying out of pocket.

It is always fun to talk to the ladies at Opalesque Dentistry and fill each other in on what events in our lives we have missed since my last appointment. Dr. Wada does fantastic dentistry and I am always glad to visit with her at my appointments. The office is warm and accommodating and I am always happy to wait in the waiting room when I have time to spare before my appointment. I went in person to settle the balance, but this type of delayed billing after collecting payment up front feels deceptive. Patients should be made clearly aware when they are paying an estimate versus a final amount. I've canceled all future appointments and will not be returning. Others should be cautious and make sure they fully understand their billing practices before agreeing to treatment.

Extremely unhappy with the customer service and care of the team…read more I had first gone into the Seattle location about 2 or 3 years ago for a consultation and when I finally decided to commit years later. They had my social security number still. So just be forewarned that even if you go in for a consultation they will hold your private information to years to come. Also, during my treatment I received an email that their system had been hacked and my information had been stolen. So be aware. I have only met with the orthodontist once--at my initial consultation. I did not see him at the time I received my aligners or during my mid-treatment appointment, and all of my follow-up visits have only been with dental assistants. One of the main issues I had with my teeth I brought up during my initial consultation to the ortho, I even brought it up again to the dental assistant during my half way point when she showed me what the final results would look like and I told her I don't think my problem will be fixed. I have finished my treatment and have been emailing their office to try and get in and meet with someone about my teeth because I would like to have my issues addressed not with another dental assistant who is going to ignore me but with an orthodontist to review my progress, discuss my concerns in detail, and ensure that my results are what I asked for. Over a week later I have still not heard anything. Not to mention I already paid for my retainers that I still have not received because they haven't contacted me to come finish up the last of my treatment

The chairs massage you...which was unexpected...flat screens on the ceiling so you can see what they see. Everyone was so thorough in explaining what they were doing, care tips and treatment plans. They made sure to explain what my insurance covered what treatment should be done now and what could wait until the new benefit year. I was even given a Sonicare toothbrush for being a new patient. Was treated completely unreasonably because they required I pay a deposit the day before my appointment, even though I've never had to prepay for any services there, and because my card wasn't working over the phone was told I'd have to reschedule the appointment until I could come into the office just to pay, instead of allowing me to make the payment in person the day of the appointment....highly recommend you find a better dentist office with more reasonable and respectful policies

They were able to get us in just one week later for back to back appointments to take care of both kids' fillings. I honestly couldn't believe how amazing Dr. Gressel was with both of my kids. The appointments went so fast, and the kids barely felt a thing.
