Anyways, The Soup Shop in, what I will call the part of Melbourne between Suntree and Melbourne Major (where Historic Downtown Melbourne) is located, right near the Eastern Florida State College Melbourne campus, is the original location (that I know of). I have been a couple of times, and every single time, it has been great. As a matter of fact, the Soup Shop answers that question I've asked which is, "What if there was a restauant that served an array of soups I can choose from?" Questioned answered and with flying colors, too. Pertaining to its ambiance, the Soup Shop doesn't exactly stand out compared to some of the decor these new restaurants seem to push as part of their experience. Instead, their decor is simplistic, but they so happen to really promote and push one particular artist as her paintings are all over the walls of the restaurant. As for the soup, I decided to get the flight, which is a sample (flight) size of three soups of your choice. Certain soups do have a specialty upcharge, specifically the bisques, and some can't be made in such because of how they are prepared, specifically the ramen. Despite that, there are a wide array of soup choices to choose from. You now, chunky soup, creamy soup, chunky and creamy soup. And to be serious for a moment, they also have soups that cater to special dietary needs. I saw a whole cooler full of ready-to-warm-up soups for bariatrics. As for the prices, they are not bad all. I think the soup flight was about $12, which is not bad at all for three soups a little bigger than a cup but smaller than a bowl. They also serve other food items such as sandwiches and desserts. My suggestion: the grilled cheese. Definitely pair it with the tomato soup. Ultimately, I am going to give the OG Soup Shop four out of five stars. They were outstanding the two times I went, but I need to try more of their food to see if they are consistent... because most people know that my fifth star is awarded after reviews (unless I've been to a business more than let's say five times) and they are consistent. I truly think The OG Soup Shop will be consistent, but you never know.

I just had dinner here for the first time tonight and all I can say is WOW. The other reviews are so right. The service was wonderful, the young man who waited on us was so much fun. There concept of a "walking wine" list is so great because it helps to set the mood of the night its always a good thing when you have just the right wine to go with your meal, and I feel like they understand that. They have a wonderful wine selection which goes great with the romantic atmosphere. Now for the food, I ordered the lamb dinner and my date ordered the shish taouk. They where both out of this world. I have a new found love for garlic because of there dressing. It's white and delish. You have to try this place if you want a wonderful dining experiance not just a meal. But be warned they run out of food fast because they make everything fresh. (we almost didn't get in, next time I am calling ahead). Has my vote for the best in brevard! read more

'Wow. The evilness i saw in this restaurant tonight was unacceptable. Whom I believe was the owner screamed at one of the servers and called her a b**** and never wanted to see her face again and refused to give the girl money she was owed. This place doesn't even deserve one star. I would never give people like this my business again who treat their employees like animals. this place is out of this world!!! i couldnt get enough of that rice and chiken. i was beyond full half way through the dinner but still kept on eating because my taste buds had never tasted such deliciouseness. the waiter knew alot about wine, and really helped me find the perfect bottle for my meal. did i mention the have a great selection of wine and beer. the chef is a loveable little lady known as marlene and not only is she the chef...she OWNS THE PLACE! the only wish i have is that it could be closer to my house. :) way to go marlene! read more

Server was super friendly and nice and fast for the rest of the visit! Ordered ribeye steak entree and surf and turf (filet) entree, both medium rare. My filet was great. Excellent flavor, thick, and a HUGE area of medium rare inside. The ribeye was a little less amazing. Thin... maybe 1/2-3/4 inch. Wish we would have known this. When you order a ribeye medium rare that is that thin, it doesn't have enough time to sear the outside correctly or cook off any fat, so it doesn't develop the flavor you're expecting. Husband said it had nice seasoning, but he would order the filet next time. I would recommend to the restaurant that they get thicker cuts and charge a little more. My glazed shrimp was GREAT, and the sauce dripped down into the rice. Both of us loved the shrimp, rice and veg. We couldn't pass up dessert, so we had the banana cream coconut cake. DELISH! What a great combo of banana cream pie and coconut cake flavors. Overall, we'll definitely come back! But I wouldn't order the steak entrees again. We both thought a filet and shrimp skewer combo sounded like an excellent choice next time. But... we noticed this wasn't listed on the menu. So it's not clear if we'll have to order two skewer plates to achieve that (which would be ridiculously expensive) or if they have add-on skewers that are priced per skewer without the salad/rice/veggie tack-on. Would be nice to have that info on the menu so we don't have to ask, but we'll figure that out when we return. Of note - the place was half full when we left at 5:30 on a Thursday! That's a really decent showing, in my opinion. Definitely a compliment to the restaurant to be so busy, so early, on a weekday night. All in all, loved the interior, the service, cocktail selections, and most of the food. I can see why everyone enjoys this restaurant!

They have created a very nice eating area around the truck with beautiful wooden tables, plenty of shaded places to sit, and a nice breeze coming through that made it a pleasant place to enjoy our meal. Since this was our first visit and we were not very familiar with the menu, the people working there were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the different choices. The food seems to be an interesting fusion of several different styles and flavors rather than the standard fare you might expect from a food truck. We decided to try the Chicken Doner Kebab and the Steak Doner Kebab Box, which were $17 and $18 respectively. Both came with an enormous amount of food and were prepared and served surprisingly quickly. More importantly, both were delicious. Considering today's prices, the amount and quality of the food, and how quickly it was prepared, I thought the prices were very reasonable and well worth the cost. What really impressed me, however, was the service. The people who prepared our food came out three different times while we were eating to make sure everything was good and that we were enjoying our meal. You don't always get that level of attention even at a sit-down restaurant, much less a food truck. Overall, we had an excellent experience. Between the delicious and generous portions, friendly people, comfortable shaded eating area, and excellent service, Donerlicious is definitely a place I would recommend. We will certainly be back. I ordered at the counter and as I was paying with my credit card, the woman pointedly told me that there was a tipping option. Also, be advised that they do charge three and a half percent more if you use a credit card. I went with a special gyro combination, which consisted of a gyro, a side (I went with French fries), and a drink. It was about fifteen dollars after tax. A bit steep, but it is what it is. My food came out in a somewhat slower pace, but it was the height of lunch hour. The gyro was not as filled as I would have liked (especially at fifteen dollars). The French fries were your standard frozen fries bought out of a restaurant supply store. My meal was okay, but nothing overly remarkable. I am torn between giving Gyros & More II either three stars or four stars. It wasn't bad, but it was a bit expensive and I would have liked to have had a bit more meat in the gyro. But still, it was a decent enough lunch. It was also obvious that Gyros & More II was popular. It was pretty crowded when I was there. I guess ultimately I will up it to four stars (though I wish I could give it a three and a half star rating). Oh well, four stars it shall be. If you are in the area and craving a gyro, Gyros & More II offers a decent enough gyro for a bit higher than I think that you should pay, but everything has gone up in price. Luckily people come and go quickly so I've never had an issue finding a parking spot. It is a casual restaurant that is very popular for to go and take out orders. There is a lunch special that comes with a fountain drink and a side or you can get a platter that comes with 2 sides. My go or order is the classic gyro sandwich with all the toppings but there isn't anything I have had there that I do not like. Even when it is busy the wait is not crazy, though calling in to go orders is not a bad idea. Staff is quick, nice, and professional. LPT: pay in cash it is cheaper

We sat and had our drink order taken. We ordered a chicken gyro and a "famous" gyro. The salad was good but the dressing was not Greek. Olive and raspberry gave it a pink color. Interesting but not what one would expect. Chicken gyro was flavorful and a good portion. The fries that came with my gyro were the start to be honest. Hot and crispy. The famous gyro meat as off slightly. I did not see the rotating spit of meat and it seems like the meat was out of a bag. Just my gut feeling. Flavor was pretty good but it borderline greasy from the chef putting it on the flattop to warm it. As a result no char on it that I am used to getting on meat of a spit in a gyro. The floor was great and a person not solid on their feet could slip. I mentioned it to the staff and they said " we have an open kitchen so we track grease into the dining area". All I can say is wrong answer. That earned the three star review. Not the best Greek in the area but their menu has some interesting items worth the trip back to try.

Service was friendly. Enjoyed the gyro with no tomatoes and french fries. Food came out fast and fresh. The gyro had so much meat in it and tasted delicious. Loved the fries and they were piping hot. Looking forward to dining again with the whole family next time as I enjoyed this spot. Highly recommend.
