I've been coming to this place for YEARS, and almost every week since they reopened after COVID. My sister and I always have an excellent time, however we visited tonight with a guest to celebrate his birthday and the owner stopped us at the door to tell us that they have a $35 per person minimum on a Tuesday night. When we politely said that we had never encountered that in all the years we've been (and the past six months of consistent visiting on a weekly basis), he said that it had always been that way and that "just nobody remembered to tell you". Way to throw your servers under the bus! We called back to double check and he answered the phone, laughed and said "well what do you want me to do for you?" We told him we took our business elsewhere, and that we just didn't appreciate how he spoke to us, and he said "Well if you left to go to Beirut, I own that too". Just disrespectful, and the right way to chase away loyal customers who have brought in so many other people. read more

This is a must stop location for really good Lebanese cuisine while they also have several non meat items too. All that I had was very tasty and fresh, with amazing mint-lemonade. The staff are on point by being very professional, courteous, and attentive to your comfort while dinning. The Restauraunt is super clean including the bathrooms and the hookahs smoke great while the staff steady change the coals often leaving you able to enjoy a long smoking experience. Left a poor review and The manager sent me a message which I just read now, and I didn't appreciate it. But honestly I was a little buzzed and upset at the time and may have overreacted in my previous review (which was a 2 star and much more severe). I've been Been coming here for over 10 yrs and used to love this place but it's a shame -Service is poor now they don't give really care. Have a problem and they look at you like you're an alien - they just deflect, blame it on someone else and move on.. Hookah quality is very inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes bad.. I regret every time I come here - brought them so much business over the years and still poor experience. This time I Highly doubt I will be returning, especially after reading the message. Place is always a solid time. Went on a Saturday night and it gets pretty busy inside. Have been there before with a big group outside too. Ambience: Inside - on a Saturday is busy and have live music & belly dancers. Outside - on a Saturday just has Hookah and food, depends on the vibe you are looking for, so you can get a loud crazy inside or just sit outside under the enclosed tent with some friends for some laid back hookah. The live music inside began around 10:30PM on a Saturday night. BYOB: It is a BYOB restaurant, so feel free to bring any wine/liquor, they will put it on ice and give you chasers all night for them. Quality of the Hookah: My group is very particular about the quality of hookah, they kept the fresh coals coming and also kept an eye out for our flavors, which were also very fresh. Food: It was pretty solid. Have been here a few times but we all remembered the Hummus being a bit too salty tonight. Outside of that, all of the other food is great. Came here on a Sunday night with a group of 6. Valet is a must (Not a fan of that) We decided to sit outside underneath the tents. It was hot, but I truly enjoyed the outdoor seating. Byob - check Hookah - check - We got mango and blue mist and I enjoyed them both. I've been here on two other occasions for hookah, and I've always enjoyed it. On weekend nights, they have a bellydancer. The one time i came in the winter, she was really talented and it was definitely a good show. We went to celebrate my daughter's 25th birthday at Cedar's and we had an amazing time. At first I was hesitant about going since I read mixed reviews and a few were on the negative side. However, I contacted a friend and she told me I would not regret going and she was right! The food was amazing, the service was outstanding and the ambiance was very fun! They had two DJs. The first DJ played middle eastern music till the belly dancer came out. BTW- she was amazing and then the second DJ of the night came out to play. He got us dancing all night and played a variety of music. Overall it was a fun night! Also, I want to add that they did serve a lot of food and everyone raved how good it was. Came to Cedars on a date night with my husbands friends. Great vibe and awesome BYOB and hookah spot. We didn't order much food but the things we did order was pretty good. My favorite part was the fact it was BYOB saving you money on overpriced drinks. There is an indoor and outdoor area. The indoor area does have loud music playing and many people are dressed nice. We previously went to see if we can sit inside and pay the insane cover for men of $30 each on top of eating for $30 dollars each person. Table for 9 was setup next to the stage and we got to listen to some amazing Arabic music and we were all hypnotized by the beautiful art of belly dancing. Cedars also offers which is so damn nice BYOB!! Say what?? Hell ya they provided us with ice, cups, wine glasses and mixers for your alcohol, it was great and boy we drank alot LOL!! There is a fee of $55 a person that includes entrance and dinner. The amount of food was more than enough for all of us and we ate everything..This included traditional hummus, baba ganoosh (eggplant dip) fresh chopped tabouli salad, raw beef tartar (kibinaye) also cheese, fries, grilled meats, chicken, beef kabob, kafta and much more!! Hookah: I believe everyone had to have one on their table and it was really smooth. We got the lemon mint and one point in the night the whole place was filled with smoke.. Very disappointed. I was hoping to find an authentic Lebanese restaurant in the Wallington area, but not so. It seems like it's a place for a planned event, or a party with all the television sets on the walls. Four of us sat down and started ordering some plates: Foul mudamas, Kefta, Kibbeh, Babba ganoush Some came out quickly, some never came. We kept waiting, and waiting. Never had hookah before, but since the food took so long to come, we decided to try it. We chose a fruit flavor, told the staff and they quickly set it up without much instruction to us. (Much faster than getting us our food). The hookah was fine at first, but it seems to me that since they did not attend to it to replenish the coals, it just burned out. That was the end of the hookah. They just ignored us and oh, the food finally came just as we were getting up to just leave. That was the end of our miserable experience. This is one of our go-to restaurants. It's byob which is amazing, we brought a titos and asked for a pitcher of juice. They brought out an ice bucket for our bottle as well. The hookah is good and there is a guy walking around refilling the coal at all times, so don't worry about asking for a new coal. The appetizers are super fresh and yummy, and the mixed grill is to die for. The meat is always soft, never dry, and their fries are perfectly seasoned. 10/10! read more

Cedars exceeded my expectations 110% We arrived at 9:30 for a party of ten for my friends birthday. It's $55 pre fixe menu/ not including tax and tip/ for parties more than 5. There was plenty of delicious food for everyone and its BYOB. Food was delicious and authentic! I really felt like I was transported to Lebanon. Entertainment started at 11 with a singer followed by a belly dancer and one more singer. Entertainment was provided until closing. They have flavored hookahs for $19.95! Response to the owner: Your staff is clearly not telling you the whole story. The food was NOT ready in 15 minutes from the time it was ordered. Maybe 15 minutes from the time they finally told the kitchen. The same staff was smiling and stifling laughs while visibly eating food inside the kitchen. Two of your staff, while presumably on the clock, left to go get coffee, asking the gentleman working the front counter if he wanted coffee as well. If you think your inventory is accurate, ask your staff why they can't manage to put mushrooms or peppers on food "because they don't have that right now." The only thing that doesn't make sense is how far you let your service slide. read more

I can say that this was one of the more cultural one tho the live performance was great, beautiful singing and live band. The service was up and down but I have 2 stars for the manager allowing to bend the rules for the pre picked meal ordeal. The space is large and the prices are reasonable. Valet parking was free and I like that you can come dressed how you want and feel cozy I wore jeans and heels my friend had on jeans and sneakers. The bathrooms were not clean but the hummus is BOMB! When they tell you they're BYOB, they literally mean bring your own bottle of ANYTHING. Including hard liquor. Including mixers. Say whaaat!? The BYOB policy here most certainly helps you get a lil loosey goosey in preparation for the DJ's hottest spins. The music here is FIRE! Their mix of upbeat Arabic music with house and hip hop gets everyone outta their seats. Yup, your dinner restaurant just turned into a night club. But last Friday night tho... Cedars outdid themselves with entertainment. The belly dancer was gorgeous AND talented. The shaking, the twirling, and the lavish outfits and costumes captivated us all. The dance-off with guests had everyone clapping, and the sword balancing act (while doing a split) had the room cheering. Just as the dance floor got packed, a drummer suddenly appeared standing on a chair in the middle of the dance floor, drumming to the beat of every song played. The. Crowd. Went. Wild. (and we all went half deaf too). Guess that wasn't good enough cause a short while after, a little person dressed as batman suddenly appeared on stage. We all did a double take. Who would've known little batman could get everyone dancing and doubled over laughing all night! As you can imagine, it was a spectacle. But one helluva night! I'd say you get 5-star ambiance with 3.5-star food here. While you dance and smoke the night away, you might notice that the kebabs are under seasoned, or that the lamb chops are a bit fatty. The Fattoush, Sambousek, and Arayes appetizers were all decent but subpar compared to other spots in the area. But if you're here with a large group like I was, you'll let it slide. I wanted to be warm and comfortable and she said the outdoor accommodation would be warm and comfortable. We arrive and the outdoor accommodation was COLD and the seats were hard. My fingers were cold. I asked the waitress if there was any heat... After an hour or so, they brought out one heat lamp... had to warm my fingers from the hookah (shisha) coals. Aside from that, the FOOD IS AMAZING!!!! And the hookah (shisha) was good. I'll definitely be back but I'll prefer to sit inside. read more
