2.5 stars overall? Don't get it. This place is so much better than that. We saw the Yell score but ignored the reviews and checked it out. So much to do!!! They've got mini golf, laser tag, bumper boats. batting cages, tramps, go karts, arcade....my god so much stuff!! Too much for one day but now we have an excuse to come back. Stack that fun card!! We decided to just do the mini golf today as we had a brewery to get to. Priorities on a Sunday ya know? We got our clubs and went to first hole. Where's the scorecard? Did you get it? No...I thought you did? What?? Four brains. Zero scorecards. Turns out it's on their app. That's what we get for being millennials. But the online scoring was perfect. Kept score. Did the maths very well. Better than we could have. We picked the difficult course because we feel like we're bad asses. Or maybe it was the pregame. Not sure. But that's what we did. But a really fun course. Lots of variety in the shots and the water features were very cool. Mini golf at its finest. Hungry? They've got foods. Thirsty? Yes..they have beers! It's a very kid friendly place tho so try not to do shots. Try. The rest of the place looks like it's def worth the return trip. Celebration Station is a neat arcade and outdoor park with rides which offers a bit of escape from the beach-tourism in the Clearwater area. The venue sits almost in the middle of the Clearwater landmass, along Route 19, specifically off Frontage Road that is paralleling Route 19 (if you're coming from the north, you can still take Route 19 southbound which has a couple of access points to Frontage Road). It's also accessible from the rear from the neighborhood area off of Lawson Road. The parking is free and plentiful; the on-site lot is rather spacious. You enter through a two-floor building which houses the indoor arcade and party rooms. Surrounding this building is a fenced in outdoor area that has the amusement rides and other activities. While it brands itself as an amusement park, there is no admission fee. However, if you want to partake in its offerings, it's on a pay-to-play basis. The photos of the two-story arcade is essentially what you get. Immediately at the entrance is the sales clerk from which you purchase game cards (along with other outdoor activity add-ons); the card machines don't dispense any cards and are just for reloading and balance checks. Within this area, you'll also find the dining area which offers various food options. On the main floor, you'll find a mixed variety of ticket-producing games (which you can trade for prizes) and standard play games. There is one claw machine, but the prizes are limited to large bouncy balls. There is also a string-cut prize machine specifically for Legos which was really cool. The cost of each play ranges from $0.75 to $2.00, averaging at $1.75 on the games. On the second floor, you'll find additional games, along with air hockey and pool tables. There is also seating space up in the area as well. The majority of the upper deck is reserved for the party rooms along with enclosed laser tag arena (this comes at an additional charge). While the number of arcade games are limited in comparison to a Dave and Busters (slight larger than the Bowlero arcades), Celebration Station makes up for this with its outdoor rides and activities. All of these are pay to play. There is an outdoor batting cage set-up, water-bumper boats, go-karts, mini-golf, and other small-rides suited for young children. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We came on a Sunday, around 12pm. For expectation and planning purposes, we noticed that the rides and outdoor activities weren't fully operational until we left at around 1pm. The difficult course was fun for 4 adults. The plants and trees are beautiful as well as the running water feature. We loved the hole where you putt from high and it goes down 20-30 steps! All of the greenery kept the noise down from hwy 19 and you didn't hear the traffic. $14 per person was a little high in my opinion but we got a $20 gift card for buying a $50 gift card online. read more

Swinging a baseball in a batting cage for half an hour continuously is nearly impossible due to fatigue and lack of exercise. Riding the go kart was fun except for the crazy kids who takes it too seriously and thinks it's a formula one racing championship. This was a nice little get away from our typical day. We bought the 35.99 all day unlimited activities including mini golf pass and a $20 game card each for our kids. For approx $180 (after tax), the family was able to enjoy 36 holes of mini golf, multiple rounds of trampoline jumping, bumper boats, go karts, and laser tag. Ended the day in the arcade area. All staff were attentive and very friendly. We visited during off hours and off peak season. read more

Meh. Arcade games have expanded and improved since the last time I was there (2002-2003) but it's still an expensive affair for below average eats. They do serve alcohol but there is only one counter to order from and it's near the front of the venue. The line can get pretty long and only a handful of employees are old enough to actually sell the alcohol which slows things down just a bit. Drink sales are limited to beers and premixed drinks. My date and I played some overpriced miniature golf. We also roamed around and noticed that they added pool tables, a couple air hockey tables, laser tag and a bunch more arcade games upstairs (which was a nice decision as it helps patrons spread out a bit). We played 100 credits in the arcade area but many of the games were not working at the time. Some games will be working and then when we came back they would not be working. Lots of malfunctioning games and few workers in sight to help remedy the issue. I'd say save your money and visit Dave & Buster's instead (although it is quite a bit further of a drive). For a Clearwater central arcade venue, Celebration Station definitely boasts convenience. read more

What in the world is happening with this place? I paid $40 for me and two preschoolers to play putt putt, only to discover the "turf" was coming up on every hole, shredded in several spots and easily one of the worst putt putt joints I've ever been to. The place is littered with leaves and trash. And the "water" features look like the pic I'm attaching. Algae sludge and trash filled, every single water feature across the course. Inside, you're going to find a bunch of games that are out of order, or just steal your credits after you swipe your card. The staff seems miserable. This was a $100+ total outing for something that doesn't feel like it's been cleaned in a decade. Truly, your celebration will quickly turn to frustration at this station. They had pretty fair deals when we went for unlimited rides with some game tokens. The go karts we're a blast (track was fairly bumpy and could use restoring). It was hot outside while we were there so we hit the bumper boats (you will get drenched!) We played laser tag and putt putt, they were both fun. The batting cages we in good shape as well. Got there with my twins, niece and in laws. Got there by 5:00 and got the kids unlimited outside bracelets,3 of them and a card of 20$ each with 80 tokens. We were outside having fun and by 7, we decided to go inside to use the card since it was very hot outside. I had the card with me all the time and gave them each their card to play on the machines. My twins card was not working and my niece was playing some place else and I got Brian the manager to try to help me. He plugged the cards in the machine and said that the reason it was not working is because they were all used. I said what? It can't be, we were outside all this time and never used...yes u did use it, since 5:09 Pm. No sir, I was playing outside with the kids all the time..they did not have the card with them, I did. Madam, u don't understand, the computer does not lie, u used the card...my other daughter came also saying her card was not working, yep, that is because is empty, u used all the credit also....we never used it at all. I spoke to my friend that was with us and she said that yes, we were all together outside but he kept saying we used.....wanted to give me a 10$ credit and is not what they usually do but in my case...what case? Was I asked for charity or trying to get something for free? I told him that I did not need his 10$ credit and I wanted the situation resolved. Then my friend got all my cards and he got my nieces too and lied saying that that was the one used. We never tried her card since she was playing somewhere when all this was happening. It was never about the money I have plenty but because he pretty much said that I was lying to get credit on the car, worst, lying for 40$. To make sorry closer, my friend went to talk to the cute cashier I got the cards from, she remember the lady with the twins and the card never got credited...opsssss, nice job Brian....your manager skills should never land you a job because u have no people skill at all.. I wish I could give less than one star. Not only has this place remained understaffed and outdated since my childhood, but they are slowly hiking up the prices for their already trashy rides. It is now $9 for one turn on their minuscule kart track, and the unlimited option has been completely removed. Such a fun time for kids! I was really impressed by customer service we came the day school started for public schools so it was empty inside the main manager (didn't get name) but an older guy with glasses and a knee brace was so accommodating to us even when it was 100° outside walking us around to each ride. Also Maggie at the front was so nice to the kids and super cheerful. These days it's rare to find good customer service especially at a kids arcade. Celebration Station has always been a day of family fun for us. I want to take a moment here and shout out to Nina- (MOD) who was super helpful and friendly during a very busy day! (Day after Thanksgiving). My 9 year old turned 9 that day and he chose Celebration Station as where he wanted to go. We had a couple of mis-haps with our visit- a ride that didn't work, and a prize that didn't have all of the parts. Despite the crazy day, when I spoke to Nina, there was no negative attitude, or the "I don't want to be here demeanor" that many display these days. Nina helped us with a smile, did everything she puked to assist and was super polite through the interaction. Patrick was the absolute worst!!! Some new girl wearing a green shirt said we could have free refills on our small sodas. Well Patrick quickly denied that after we just spend well over $200!!! I mean come on it's Pepsi for Christ sakes!!! Now I know why celebration Stations are closing down. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! I would NOT recommend this business and Patrick really should care about his customers. I told him I would talk to his boss and his response "go ahead". I do NOT like to be treated in this manner!! NOT OK!!!!!! This place is over priced and the customer service is the absolute worst!! I would like for a general manager to contact me about this!!!!I have to keep paying more money just to have something to drink for my kids!!! Hell McDonald's gives free refills! My daughter went to ride the go carts, and she hit the side, ok she's 9 she doesn't know how to steer, but she was hit but 3 other people. A customer had a video of it. Came here on a Saturday morning with my boyfriend and his niece and nephew. It wasn't too busy so I was happy about that. There are a bunch of bundle deals that you can choose from. You can add games, outdoor activities and meals, depending on what you want. We went with the all-day outdoor activities with food. We specifically asked if all the outdoor activities were included and the worker said yes. Come to find out that they were not all included. Make sure you are paying for exactly what you want because some activities (such as the trampoline) are not included. The kids pretty much never left the go-carts then entire time. It wasn't busy so they never had to wait, they just kept going. The track is a good size and the kids had a lot of fun. The food was okay. I wasn't expecting too much from the food. We got the grill chicken sandwich and grill chicken salad. We have been here a few times. We stuck outside this time but they have tons of games and laser tag as well. I'm giving three stars because none of the employees there seemed to have any idea what was going on. read more

I am writing this review based on visiting five arcades in the area: Chuck E. Cheese-Clearwater, Chuck E. Cheese-St. Petersburg, Treasure Island Fun Center, Xtreme Fun Center and Celebration Station. Chuck E. Cheese-Clearwater wins. I base my review on a family-friendly budget. Here is my run down of Celebration Station compared to other places: Celebration Station- 3 stars- This place rocks, as it has everything you could ever dream of in one place- Laser tag, video games, go-carts, bumper boats, putt-putt golf, BUT is very expensive and outdated. The good games are overpriced and the facility is very outdated. I loved this place back int he day, but it needs to be updated to garner the amount of money it is asking for. Again, I love this place, but unless you are ready to drop $50 per child, it is not affordable for a family budget. As for the other places: Xtreme Fun Center- 3 stars- This place is very limited. There is barely any parking and games. This is a laser tag and batting cage place. It is not really an arcade. A nice place and staff, but VERY limited. Also, they only take cash. Treasure Island Fun Center- 4 stars- Our go-to place, as it is closer to our house and they have extremely nice staff. The games are costly in this arcade. For example, my boys played Jurassic park and it cost $1.75 per player to start the game and $.75 to continue the game per player. So I spent $5.00 on this game alone in 4-5 minutes. The cheap games are the 80s games I played as a child. I love Treasure Island Fun Center, but the best games are costly. This place is huge and has a lot of games. I love it, but steer my kids toward the cheaper, outdated games. Chuck E. Cheese-Clearwater- 5 stars-This place is based on play time or play points. I bought $18 for my kids to play for 56 minutes, which the manager informed me that both my kids can use the same card. It was very clean, nice staff and tons of games played (about 40 games played). Also, my boys were able to get three toys at the end. I felt my money was well spent and I am very happy with the experience. The staff looked overworked, though. I spent $18 for over an hour of fun. Chuck E. Cheese- St. Petersburg- 4 stars- needs to be updated, but is bigger than the one in Clearwater. The staff looked overworked and parking was hard to find, but it was a nice experience. I spent more money, because play time was not available only points. It is a good place, but play points would be a good addition and it is in a hard location to get to (uncontrollable). 0/5 - No want Karts are slow and poorly maintained (tires, brakes, cable adjustments, steering rods, etc.). Food was old and under heat lamps for an unknown amount of hours. Automated ticket counter counted the tickets and then failed to add them to our card. Bathroom floors covered in what appeared to me, to be, old dry urine. Many of the games were broken. This is my second visit to this location and my last. The first did not go any better. The two events have left a bad taste when speaking about Celebration Station as a entertainment destination to others. For what I have spent in total, I probably should have just bought two beater go-karts from CL, hit some nice flat trails and had a much better experience building memories. read more

FastKicks Academy took a group of 21 kids for a summer camp field trip. As a whole, the group had a blast! One of our students has a broken arm, and therefore has a cast on his arm. Unfortunately, students with braces or casts are not allowed to participate in the go karts, bumper boats, etc. but my student did not miss a beat of the days fun! The staff member who helped us (unfortunately i did not get her name), added some prize game credits onto his card, so he could enjoy his day. This is our 2nd summer field trip to celebration station, and we will definitely schedule again next summer! read more

This place is not family safe. The management allowed for a man to be extremely aggressive which included him grabbing a chair and violent slamming at a table with 6 women at it. He was extremely aggressive with his tone and he took off after the incident. The management never called the police, in fact when I asked the manager if she had called the police she said , "no, no one on her staff witnessed it". She also stated that she went outside to console one of the women and that the girl stated that the man was her father. This is a form abuse, for them not to call the police is unethical an immoral. Myself and the parents there all agreed that since this place does not support doing the right thing, then we will not be coming back here. I've been on two occasions, the first to check out the min-golf. Nothing great. Not very well maintained. We kept losing golf balls in the obstacles. We had to avoid certain holes because they were missing the cup to catch the ball. Wasn't about to dip my balls in the hole without protection. So first impression wasn't so grand. I returned to check out the batting cages here. Damn machine pissed away a 20 pitch token of mine. Not to mention, it's waaaay overpriced at $2.50 per 20 pitches. Regardless, it has potential. 1st and only time we will go. Underwhelming! Bought the unlimited package. Which was anything but. Had to pay extra for half of the things after spending a small fortune for the unlimited package. The employees were less than thrilled to be at work. There weren't enough employees to run all the rides at once. Oh and the women's bathroom had 4 stalls with zero TP. Thankfully I check beforehand. Was there Tuesday, Aug 18th. ZERO mask enforcement inside. 1/5 adults had a mask on... not under their nose or under the chin but on. Saw a few teenagers without masks too. I can understand if it's in the eating section, but this was by the games. Disgusting that they can't enforce a simple ordinance that is designed to keep people safe. This place probably made me feel like I was getting scammed in some moments. There was a lot of arcade games there that are rigged and the credits are kind of pricy. Also the prizes there are cheap and not worth spending time trying to get. There are rides too there but lots of them are not being operated or look like they are that much fun but the golf courses and those pitching machines were fun and the arcade games that are rigged but playable are still fun so if your looking for a place to spend a birthday or some big event I would not recommend here read more

From my experience (like 15 years ago) Celebration Station was like a slightly trashier Chuck E Cheese, but after my recent visit it seems to be a slightly *less* trashy Chuck E Cheese. Super expensive for what it is but the kids had a great time and the staff was helpful and nice. read more

This is supposed to be a friendly fun time and it seems more then half the staff doesn't even want to be here! We were waiting in lines for different attractions and we had staff just walk past us! And when we asked for help the staff seemed like we bothered them. We got attitudes from the food stand and we only wanted drinks but the lady was to busy flirting with customers and staff. However the manager was very helpful and attended the needs we had and was very apologetic when things were not working. Otherwise the family had a great time even though the money we spent wasn't worth dealing with the staff and the attitudes.
