My daughters have been attending celebree Pasadena, MD for 2 years. During this time of them being enrolled we have experienced as parents' great changes throughout the leadership and care for our two beautiful little girls. As of today, we have filed several complaints with the building staff and director, in regard to verbal abuse, the lack of staff and turnover is astonishing. The director is very nonchalant and combative and does not hear or resolve issue and concerns of parents in relation to their children. My daughters were yelled at by teachers, bitten by students, kissed and inappropriately touched by students and to no avail. It is difficult to have to move a child after becoming so familiar with an initially trusted care facility. We are currently transitioning to another facility and organization. Kept sending my son home saying he was bad. Happened few times within a month had to take off work to come him. They were not willing to reprimand him in anyway instead the only thing that could happen is I needed to come get him when he's bad they said they don't put in time out. Sk basically they wanted me to continue paying without childcare. One day my son came home with bite marks on him when we asked them about it they said he deserved it. So I took him out put him in another daycare as a result they kept charging me for daycare even tho they were not willing to supply daycare. The teachers and staff here are the best part of this school. Any time there have ever been any issues, they have been immediately addressed. Susan and Pam really take time to listen to the parents' concerns and make sure the kids in their care are taken care of. The facility is brand new and really nice. My daughter loves going, and they offer transportation to several elementary schools in the local area. For the previous reviews complaining about Jason; he is no longer at the center and they have entirely new leadership. Susan and Pam are wonderful! read more

Our daughter attended Celebree for roughly two months. During our time here we can say that she has flourished as far as communication and coordination goes. However we won't give all the glory to Celebree for her advancement at 14 months. We've been teaching her sign language since she was a newborn and walking since she was 7 months. We do feel as if she enjoyed being in a room with her peers and socializing with them so for that reasoning we gave them 2 stars. Strike one: Our concerns however are too great so we have disenrolled her. She was placed in Infant C (12-18m) and day three she had a gash on her nose which is still healing. When contacted only one parent was called however a list of emergency contact numbers were given. We later realized the packet we had submitted at her enrollment either was mishandled or neglected (I will address the reasoning later in the review). When I arrived at the school one of the assistants handed me a piece of paper and said "we need you to sign this," coldly. I didn't see I had a missed call from Celebree since where I work I cannot have my phone on me but again her fathers number is also listed he was not contacted. After reviewing the document and signing I asked for a copy. The young woman said "why". Strike two: In regards to the missing documents after enrollment we were contacted because they claimed we did not have a form of payment on file. Which again we submitted the day we enrolled her. When Celebree called us they said "we would be charged a late fee if they didn't not receive payment by 6pm". After letting them know we had submitted this info a week before she started one of the admins said "oh it looks like we have it right here", this is alarming because we had the account and routing number on this sheet (was my information just laying about, this is a confidentiality issue). Strike three: Three weeks after the first incident we get a call about 30 minutes after dropping her off stating that she had a little scratch on her face from a incident with another child trying to take something of our daughters. We asked for a picture of the "scratch" because we were both headed to work and if it wasn't an emergency we just wanted piece of mind, Kathleen said she would send a picture however one was never sent. When we asked if this is reoccurring behavior with the other child if so they need to be separated at lunch our response was it is not the same child and these incidents happened in a "transition" class. We asked well what is the age range of this transition class, she just said mixed (so heads up mamas if you have a smaller child them being in a class that is mixed might be a little dangerous). In addition to finding out that she was injured, and in a class with older kids, we were also made aware that parents are ONLY CONTACTED when there is a physical injury ABOVE the waist. So again alarming because when she falls or hit by another child the parent isn't contacted unless it results in a injury. Strike four: After we got her home from Celebree the day of strike three we also noticed it was NOT ONLY JUST A SCRATCH but as if she was clawed. There were 5 scratches on her face. (She was picked up by a relative this day, who stated the incident paper was just handed to her, coldly and she was issued to sign). She let them know that a copy was needed, they weren't going to give one to her otherwise. Strike five: Lack of Customer service and organization. Whenever we entered the school we either were not spoken too or disingenuously greeted. Only a few girls were friendly but the evening crew is straight rude. In addition to our daughters nose being crusted over multiple times upon pick up. It wasn't until we addressed the issue did we see her face cleaned upon pickup. One day in particular I asked the aide "oh did she just wake up," her response was no she's been up for awhile. I wish I had a picture but the crust was caked so hard it hurt her to remove it. That means she went all day with a dirty face. We've provided Celebree with wipes, tissue, and moisturizer with instructions on when to use them. It seems as if they only use the A&D whenever she pooped. My final strike came today when instead of seeing if my daughter was okay the director went to another student and said "I know the crying baby makes you not want to go in." Again I was standing right next to Susan, who did not speak to me but talked about my child as if she wasn't there. All in all I would not recommend this particular location they were not genuine and the director Susan Fisher is very rude or possibly uninterested in families of different races. My girls have been at Celebree for more than 5 years and there is no place I would rather have them be. My youngest started at 5 1/2 months and now both of my girls are in the School Age program and thriving. The staff is friendly and communicative about the needs of my kids, management is helpful and I always feel as if I'm being heard and most importantly, despite the changes of this past year, my kids are happy. I would highly recommended this learning center for anyone looking for an educational and nurturing environment for their children. read more

I was a little nervous with sending my son to daycare because, this was his first time but, Celebree at Pasadena has been great for us. The teachers and staff are amazing. Love that they keep me informed with what's going on since we aren't allowed to go back to the classrooms during COVID. My son gets so excited to go to "school". My son never went here but this review is based on presentation rather than experience. Waited 35 mins for a schedule tour. Jason finally gave tour and was not very impressed with the room. Many letters of the alphabet missing off the walls. Not a lot of learning visuals I've seen in other places. 20 children with 2 teachers. Didn't look like the teachers could watch all the kids which explains a lot when I read a comment about a child getting hurt and no one could tell the mother what happened. The cost is crazy too for 2 days a week. I think they need to step up if they are going to ask premium price. read more

We started at Celebree Pasadena about a month ago after moving to the area from out of state and currently have two children (4yrs and 9mo) in their care. We have used childcare centers around the country (and between three children) and overall, we have been very happy at Celebree Pasadena. In fact, we have been truly impressed with everything the kids do each day, especially our 4yr old! It's been a big relief to have had his transition go so smoothly and he's super happy to go to school every day, which makes us happy :-) The infant room also does an absolutely awesome job with our baby and we know that she is very loved and well-taken care of while in their care. Is any center perfect? Of course not. Are the teachers and staff welcoming, approachable and professional? Yes. Is it expensive? Unfortunately, yes. But we have had a very positive experience thus far and are thankful to have found such a great center! read more

I have been taking my child to Celebree for the last 2.5 years. The teachers are wonderful and loving, the director are focused on the children and their education as well as making sure there is an open line of communication between them, the teachers and the parents. The program itself has allowed my child to excel when they reached elementary school. With Covid they have put all the protocols in place to keep everyone safe and healthy. I have already sent many friends here. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a place to send their child, look no farther. read more

I regrettably enrolled my 23 month o son at this center last week. On his second day of care I picked him up while he was napping. When we reached the car I realized that he was very dirty and had several blood drawn scratches and abrasions to his face. I called the center from my car and spoke to Jason who told me he had no knowledge of what happened because he wasn't in the room. After a brief hold he returned and told me the girls assigned to my son's room had no knowledge of what could have happened. I was asked to email photos. I did this immediately. After approximately 2.5 hrs when I did not receive a reply I forwarded my email to the director. At that time I received a call from the young lady assigned to my son's room. Again I was told that she had no knowledge or explanation for his injuries. At no time since I picked up my son have I received a call from the director. At no time have I received any sentiment of concern, remorse, or assurance that this is not their normal standard of care. Two days ago I emailed the director, assistant director, and corporate office letting them know that my son would not be returning. Not one person has contacted me. Children rarely go long bouts of time without bumps and bruises but the fact that not one person has been able to tell me how it happened and the fact that the director has not contacted me even once is inexcusable. Let me remind you, this was my son's second day of care. This is the best you can do to give peace of mind to new families? You should be ashamed. 9/12/18 Update: Today I spoke with the Vice President of Parent Experience at Celebree. She was kind, understanding, and incredibly attentive. Had this been the phone call I received on Friday we would have had a much different experience and the above review would not have been written. She expressed genuine concern and care. This was all we ever wanted. We will not return to Celebree but we hope this situation serves as a learning experience for all involved and that those who entrust Celebree Pasadena with their little ones have a better experience. read more

My 18 month old son started at Celebree at the end of August and we could not be happier. I am overjoyed to say, since starting at Celebree he has started talking more and has definitely gained more confidence, from just a week at their school. I can't wait to see how he grows overtime with their guidance and care. I can't thank the staff enough! They have made my first week going back to work, after 18 months, easier than I could have imagined. I have been dreading this week since I had my son but knowing that he is in a place where he is loved, cared for and continuously learning has made the transition much easier. My daughter loves coming to school here. They have a great facility inside and out. COVID restrictions are in place to keep everyone safe. I just wish there was more communication between teachers and parents, I've yet to have a conference, and you never see them because parents don't enter the class room. Very clean and secure building and playground. Many classroom functions that are age appropriate. My daughter is learning to read and write and do math. Lots of crafts and projects. On the pricey side, but on par to location. I would recommend this school. read more

Best childcare center we have ever enrolled in! The staff are wonderful and caring, and the Director's Susan and Pam are so easy to talk with about any questions or concerns. The facility is is beautiful, and I feel very safe bringing my children here. Our children have been in almost every type of age range classroom there is (2 yr old, 4 yr old, 5 yr old, school age, summer camp) and happy with all of them. read more

So I laughed at a previous review on here about this school regarding a Jason (who no longer works there) because we also had a "less than desirable" experience with him as well, although not horrible. That being said, the rest of the staff has shown exemplary service and proved that their true colors are that of phenomenal child care. We transferred our child there at 1 year old and he is now almost 4. Couldn't pay me to go back to the other center he was at. Clean facility, great caring teachers, excellent learning environment. Ms. Pam above all others has been a staple for us and we love that she has been moved to a management role because she truly cares for the kids and it shows every single day. read more

My child attended this school for the last two years. He was in the 3 room with an EXTREMELY high turn over in teachers and his newest was extremely overwhelmed and completely nonattentive to the children. The next part of this happened all within ONE WEEK. When the center called me during my week day and informed me that I need to pick up my child due to behavioral issues I asked for their policy on behavior (since he has been there two years and never have I been called previously), conveniently they told me no policy is enforced and that it was under the "directors discretion". Two days later the same situation happen so my husband asked for the video footage since our child does not act the way they were accusing him of acting at home and we needed to better understand what was happening so we can fix the problem. Well they conveniently told him that they can not show any footage because of "teacher privacy". This worried me extremely since my son was telling my how mean his new teacher was to him. I requested a meeting, during our meeting they acted very optimistic about fixing the issues, not 72 hours later they send me an EMAIL indicating they were disenrolling my child and only giving me TWO DAYS to find alternative care. I am very disappointed and now I really regret sending other families to the center. Moving forward I will not do this because they have made it very inconvenient to work and have a child. Let alone their tuition was more than my mortgage. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. read more
