Unfortunately my body rejected the implant, and the implanted tooth needed to be removed (It's extremely rare, but it does happen). We figured this out after two weeks of excruciating pain. During the 2 weeks, I was in constant contact with the office and Dr. Sutter. Never once did I feel like I was imposing or bothering them. I needed to wait four more months to try again. This week I went back to have the implant done again. Dr. Sutter tried a new type of metal on the tooth, and it looks like it worked. I am writing this to show what kind of dentist Dr. Sutter is. The implant reject it was no fault of the doctor . Occasionally people have allergies and you don't know it until you try. He is the ultimate professional. A wonderful bedside manner, considerate, gentle, as well as, in my opinion a great surgeon. Most people hate dentists, but if you are going to have surgery, he is the person to go to.

She emailed me the paperwork so it would be completed by the time I got to my appointment. I was taken in within a few minutes. Dr Sutter was one of the kindest dentists that I have ever met. His friendliness and attentiveness put me at ease, which for me is almost impossible at the dentist. I had explained my problem about my tooth falling out as an implant when it turned out to be a post in which case I should have seen my regular dentist. Dr Sutter took X-rays and cemented the tooth back in to hold temporarily. He only charged me for the consult and gave me a copy of the X-ray to take with me. If I ever need an oral surgeon I know where to go.

They billed my insurance for procedures I never had done nor discussed doing. Prior to this, I had gone for my routine cleaning, they told me I had cavities on every tooth and I need a filling on all of my teeth. I asked to see my x-ray and they told me no. Lol, okay. I go for my cleaning this year and now the only cavity I have is the one needing a root canal.

During my second visit one of the receptionist charged me without confirming with the hygienist. I had to call her after I left the dentist to confirm again that the procedure was not done. She was also rude over the phone and tried to blame the hygienist when I tried to clarify while I was still at the office. I would give this place 5 stars but one of the receptionist needs to work on her tone when speaking to the patients. Thankfully she is not the first face you see when you enter the building. Went to his office on August 10, 2025 and was told that I had an infection in my rear molar. He…read moreremoved the tooth on August 17.Despite the fact that every article and dentist that I have spoken to advises that a tooth extraction should hurt for no more than one week I saw him four or five more times and each time he told me my Mouth was healing, despite my complaining of continual pain. Finally after a month of visits I finally lost my temper in his office, he sent me to a friend of his in Massapequa. This was only after I insisted that the pain was continuing and that my two knee replacements healed quicker than his tooth extraction. His friend in Massapequa did a perfunctory exam and sent me home telling me there was nothing wrong. Thankfully, I found an oral surgeon in Hewlett, Joshua Wolf who immediately did a test and indicated that I needed to be hospitalized and treated as my jawbone was so fragile that it was in danger of fracturing. I had the surgery at Mount Sinai in Oceanside and a biopsy was done, which indicated that not only did I have an infection, but had cancer in my jawbone. It is still to be determined how much the cancer spread while Dr. Kshonz was insisting that it was healing. At some point I should've been told That the tooth was not healing properly and that I should seek the advice of an oral surgeon. I have been advised that a cosmetic dentist probably should've referred the initial extraction to an oral surgeon. His refusal to acknowledge after weeks of treatment that my pain was not normal, and the fact that it required me to finally throw a temper tantrum in his office Is inexcusable. My family and I used him in the past but his casual approach to what turned out to be a grave matter cannot be forgiven. I never post negative reviews, but my life was actually in danger due to his lack of action. A sore that doesn't heal is an indication of something more than simple pain from an extraction.

I researched local dental providers within my new network and stumbled upon the stellar reviews from my fellow yelpers. Luckily this office is so close to home for me. I was politely greeted and filled out all intake information with the 2 front desk girls. They were professional and kind. I then met with hygienist Hazel who took her time cleaning my teeth, was very gentle and afterwards had a brief consult with me about flossing more to avoid plaque build up. The other hygienist Gloria was very welcoming and kind as well. Dr. Jacob entered the room and was extremely friendly and bubbling with a great sense of humor. He consulted with me about the enamel stains I've had on my two front teeth since a child. This is the first time a dentist has suggested an alternative to invasive porcelain veneers. For years, I've met with different providers and there has not been a solution. He discussed a mild Icon polish treatment and was happy to review what my insurance covers. I'm extremely satisfied with my visit and can't wait to return for this procedure so that I can feel more confident smiling. Just like rapper Cardi.B I just want to get a bag and fix my teeth. You know it's not cheap :) The parking lot is super convenient for patients. Such an added bonus for this area that monopolizes on municipal parking.
