After woofing down this pork chop. Coffee flavored butter. Amazing. Didn't think to take a "before" pic.

Wonderful crab cakes and pork chop. Took pictures after we woofed em. Also. Celebrity in attendance. This is another awesome place in San Juan. Check it out.

Tucked away and unassuming, Celeste offers an amazing food experience. This intimate restaurant has about 8 tables and appears to seat no more than 20 people. The diners are mixed from clearly dressed up to folks in shorts and sneakers (aka my outfit that night). Celeste welcomed us all. The menu is broken into sections our waiter (I believe his name was Derek) recommended 4-6 dishes for 2 people. We started off by ordering 3 and added more later. I never felt rushed or pressured to leave. A wine advisor approached our table without us even asking and offered advice on the wine. Of course it was no surprise that even the wine was perfect. Celeste does anticipating their diners needs very well. The food came out very quickly and every last dish was a hit. Not pictured is their foie gras dish. It's a must order. We ate it immediately and wished for more. Thanks Celeste for making this girl's vacation.

This might be the best restaurant in Puerto Rico right now. Born and raised puerto rican here who loves all things food, from the tiny rinconcitos selling alcapurrias, to the fancy ones with overpriced wines hehehe. This place blows your mind. Simple, limited menu full of big flavors. The crudo and the salad were to die for, but THAT BANANA dish was something else, I can't even describe it, sweet, umami and salty in a bowl

Two of us dined in on a quiet weeknight evening. We were greeted warmly and each server was consistent in checking in, providing advice on food and wine selections, and timing wine glass replenishment and courses appropriately without rush. We shared duck liver mousse with honey toast and pickled pineapple and endive, crab cake with wagyu bone marrow and butter, causa de pesca with golden beet, and rabbit schnitzel with carrots and mustard seed. Each bite brought a smile to our faces and we were constantly exchanging "wow"s throughout our meal. Highly recommend for those seeking an exceptional culinary experience!

East Village-style creative cuisine in San Juan! Delicious, fresh seafood-forward and tapas-heavy menu paired with a phenomenal selection of wines. Beautiful, renovated venue pays tribute to San Juan's glorious past while helping to reinvigorate one of its long forgotten neighborhoods. Cheers to our wonderful servicers and friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable front of the house, Sebastian.

El Vino Crudo - Beetroot ice cream and olive oil cake

It's a cozy little restaurant that was perfect for our recent short stay in Old San Juan. I was impressed with the wine list, which featured sparkling, white, orange, rose, and red options by the glass and of course a more extensive list of bottles. I opted for two different sparkling options, a Pineau d'Aunis (rose) from the Loire Valley (strawberry notes) and a Verdeca (white) from Puglia (melon, white flowers). I drink a lot of wine and have never heard of these grapes at all, so they were fun to check out and delicious to boot. We also tried a number of different bites. They were all good, but these were the most memorable: Apio gnocchi - delightfully pillowy and nutty Dulce de papaya and prosciutto - lightly sweet and savory all at once. This might be an even better version of the more popular prosciutto and melon dish. Partamra olive oil cake - so lemony and moist Beet ice cream - this was wild! For sure my first time trying beet ice cream. It was barely sweet and had a very thick, almost custard-like texture. Special shout out to the staff, who were all so nice and chill and knowledgeable.

Its a fine dining restaurant so the restaurant is really upscale but they also made the restaurant a bit cozy at the same time. The service was amazing as well. Im sorry I forgot his name but he paid really good attention and constantly checked on us especially for my allergies. The food was some of the most delicious food ive ever tasted, especially the risotto (10/10). There was one dish that my girlfriend didnt like but they went immediately to get her something new. Im only giving a 4 star because the dessert i had did have something I was allergic to despite reassurance which cause swollen lips and throwing up outside. Im not sure if the dessert was pre-made but having the allergens directly on the menu may help. Otherwise I completely recommend trying here.

We got here on Sunday night and for about half and hour we were the only customers. The Sangria selection is simply overwhelming, there are about 80 Sangrías to choose from. They also have a selection of tapas, which you can "mix and match" through their sampler menu. We ordered the Sangria sampler which contained six different Sangrías (3oz each) for $18 and the mini food sampler (3 types) for $15. The sangria flavours that we ordered were: grape, passionfruit, coconut, guava, coffee and tamarind. As for the food, we ordered the Queso Frito, Guayaba Empanadillas and Chicken Alcapurrias. Each of the food items came in servings of five. I really appreciate the waitress's effort to explain the menu, as well as the food items to us. It wasn't necessary, as we would've figured out a way out but she was attentive and informative. I must say that upon arriving here, I expected some homemade sangria. Surely I didn't expect all 80 flavours to be made in-house, but I wasn't ready for the realization that all 80 flavours came from store-bought and sourced bottles. When we got the sampler, I was surprised by how overwhelmingly sweet the Sangrías were and the lack of fresh fruit flavour. The food was pretty good, I especially loved the saltiness of the queso frito. My suggestion for the owners is to start selling house-made sangria as nothing will ever beat the fresh-made taste. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the variety of flavours, as well as the service.
