On our second night in PR, we stumbled across this rooftop bar, located in a quieter area of old San Juan. It is one of two spots that we bothered to visit again before leaving the island. It isn't a popular find; we happened to stumble by as we were hopping around old San Juan and my ADHD husband noticed a little sign that said rooftop bar above. After climbing a long flight of stairs, we found a tiny bar with a tiny corner patio, overlooking two quiet streets. There are only about 7 tables on patio- we have never seen more than two being occupied. The drinks are ok- not the best, but not the worst. The prices are fair and not tourist gouging. One of the best spots you'll get in town is sitting out on the corner seats of the patio, where a breeze can blow by you as you have a 160* view of the city. Enjoy!

Nice little rooftop bar. We only had drinks however they do have a small food menu. The service was good. The drinks were better.

Expensive little cocktail bar that sits up high upon a rooftop. Once you venture up the stairs, there is a deck, bar and an enclosed seating area. Our bartender was pretty d*** good with mixology so it was well worth the money, however, if you are a wine or beer drinker, I would venture elsewhere. In addition to the spicy margarita, bottled beer and Old Fashioned, we ordered the french fries and haha were let down. They had zero flavor and; therefore, overpriced. Beautiful atmosphere.

Decent rooftop view but old chairs and tables. Happy hour was just 2 for 1 mojitos. The female bartender was not friendly at all. Bathroom was gross. Lots of stairs to get to the place. Premium pricing that's not worth paying.

drinks were very well presented and delicious. got the lavender mule and was pleasantly met with a smooth taste and not heavy on the lavender in a good way ! the view at night is impeccable. waiter did not come to the table so we had to go up to bar to order.

One of the most disappointing experiences here with a mediocre view. Not worth a trip. Period. Don't waste your money or time. First of all it was roped off. They let us in but said we couldn't use the balcony due to construction. There was no construction. So we grabbed the second best table. The chairs wobbled horribly. My friend dropped the menu because of the chairs and they took it from her like we were children. We ordered glasses of wine after the waiter made some Suggestions. The pours were decent as were the wine but the prices were outrageous. 19 crimes wine for $50 a bottle! Our glasses were $12. We then asked for a cheese tray. My friend asked if it could have a little meat because she eats it but I don't. They co firmed cheese tray with a tiny bit of meat. It was half and half. It had 6 pieces of meat, 6 pieces of cheese and 4 pieces of dry bread. No sauce. Or jam. About 6 walnuts. And $32! The servers were taking sips right out of the bottle behind the bar. Yikes. Then some other people were trying to get in and we had to tell them to wait. Nervous if they were closed we asked. The staff were like "yeah we rope it off cause we like to make people wait to let them In" I will say the bathrooms were nice, the location was a hit and the view was ok. The antique fee was a plus too. The pours were ok too. But $40 later I feel like I really wasted my time and money.

It's a cozy little restaurant that was perfect for our recent short stay in Old San Juan. I was impressed with the wine list, which featured sparkling, white, orange, rose, and red options by the glass and of course a more extensive list of bottles. I opted for two different sparkling options, a Pineau d'Aunis (rose) from the Loire Valley (strawberry notes) and a Verdeca (white) from Puglia (melon, white flowers). I drink a lot of wine and have never heard of these grapes at all, so they were fun to check out and delicious to boot. We also tried a number of different bites. They were all good, but these were the most memorable: Apio gnocchi - delightfully pillowy and nutty Dulce de papaya and prosciutto - lightly sweet and savory all at once. This might be an even better version of the more popular prosciutto and melon dish. Partamra olive oil cake - so lemony and moist Beet ice cream - this was wild! For sure my first time trying beet ice cream. It was barely sweet and had a very thick, almost custard-like texture. Special shout out to the staff, who were all so nice and chill and knowledgeable.

The food was some of the most delicious food ive ever tasted, especially the risotto (10/10). There was one dish that my girlfriend didnt like but they went immediately to get her something new. Im only giving a 4 star because the dessert i had did have something I was allergic to despite reassurance which cause swollen lips and throwing up outside. Im not sure if the dessert was pre-made but having the allergens directly on the menu may help. Otherwise I completely recommend trying here.

We got here on Sunday night and for about half and hour we were the only customers. The Sangria selection is simply overwhelming, there are about 80 Sangrías to choose from. They also have a selection of tapas, which you can "mix and match" through their sampler menu. We ordered the Sangria sampler which contained six different Sangrías (3oz each) for $18 and the mini food sampler (3 types) for $15. The sangria flavours that we ordered were: grape, passionfruit, coconut, guava, coffee and tamarind. As for the food, we ordered the Queso Frito, Guayaba Empanadillas and Chicken Alcapurrias. Each of the food items came in servings of five. I really appreciate the waitress's effort to explain the menu, as well as the food items to us. It wasn't necessary, as we would've figured out a way out but she was attentive and informative. I must say that upon arriving here, I expected some homemade sangria. Surely I didn't expect all 80 flavours to be made in-house, but I wasn't ready for the realization that all 80 flavours came from store-bought and sourced bottles. When we got the sampler, I was surprised by how overwhelmingly sweet the Sangrías were and the lack of fresh fruit flavour. The food was pretty good, I especially loved the saltiness of the queso frito. My suggestion for the owners is to start selling house-made sangria as nothing will ever beat the fresh-made taste. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the variety of flavours, as well as the service.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately, they fell short in every possible category. The layout is a major issue. We paid the $10 per person fee for the piano room, only to be squeezed in elbow-to-elbow with strangers. The tables are so tiny I literally had to eat out of my lap to avoid spilling food on my clothes. Even the basic facilities were a struggle; the women's bathroom was so cramped and unaccommodating that I could barely even sit down. When we asked to move to a more comfortable space, the hostess and waitress refused, citing nearby reservations. The kitchen and service were equally disappointing. After waiting over an hour for our entrees, the food arrived mediocre and tasteless. The steak had zero seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were dry and flavorless--essentially just a boiled potato thrown on a plate. The service was the final straw. When I tried to flag down a server to send the potatoes back, he told me he would "get her." When our waitress finally arrived, I explained the issue and she simply replied, "I know." No apology, no offer to bring something else, and no effort to make it right. To be met with that level of rudeness on my birthday was shocking. This was a complete waste of time and money--I won't be returning.
