I entered into a serene and nicely decorated environment that invited me into what would turn out to be the best massage ever. I was greeted by Massage Therapist Extraordinaire Marleny. From the start I could see that she had concern, thoughtfulness, and a true desire to make this an experience that I would not forget. She became immediately attentive asking for any concerns that I may have had, Any questions, and the areas on the body that I needed the most focus on. After the consultation, she took me into a therapy room that I never wanted to leave. Pure comfort and a sense of atmosphere created an environment that lets you know that she is intricate in each of her steps that lead to the treatment that will allow her to be the last massage therapist you ever choose. At that point she explained how she would initiate the massage treatment, asked which pressure interests you the most, and the celestial vacation begins. In that session I learned that Marleny has gifted hands. From your neck to your toes she does not miss a spot. You can speak with her throughout the session to let her know of any areas that you want her to concentrate on and she knows just the spot that you are talking about. She massaged out every kink and knot that I developed from my stressful life and did it with experience, care and those strong yet gentle magic hands. My boyfriend purchased two Amazon Local vouchers for Celestial Space. He called to schedule an appointment for each of us, but we had to wait a few weeks for availablility. As small business owners ourselves, we understand that when a business is just starting out, the owners can get stretched pretty thin. To compensate for the volume created by the Amazon Local vouchers, Marleny took me on a Tuesday even though her sign says she is closed on Tuesdays. I appreciate that she made time for me! She asked me about points of tension and was very thorough about making sure i didn't have any injuries or illnesses before she massaged me. She took me to the "Egypt room" for my massage. Usually massage places go with an East Asian theme, so I appreciated the unique theme! She has great hand strength and was very diligent about trying to get the knots out of my neck and shoulders. I had a regular Swedish massage. In the past I've come out of a massage feeling super oily from the products used, which then tends to make me feel icky. Marleny's massage oil/lotion did not leave me feeling icky! The space is new and very clean and inviting. It faces JFK drive but I never heard any car noise. Overall it was a great massage and a very inviting space, and Marleny provided very good service. I think we will be buying a package of massages and make this a monthly event! read more

First off let me start by saying that the negative review above is ridiculous...that person obviously does not read the fine print nor do they have any compassion for small business owners. Aside from the fact that it makes no sense, it's common sense the longer you wait to call the more people ahead of you. Any educated, decent person would know this and UNDERSTAND. Now onto the important stuff...my boyfriend bought me a 3 pack for my birthday in July, After seeing how many people were purchasing the deal I figured I should call quickly to get my first appointment. I called and only had to wait about a week for my first appointment. Upon entering I was greeted by a cheery, smiling Marleny. She welcomed me and thanked me for visiting and started the consultation. She was extremely thorough and made sure to ask me what was bothering me, what I wanted worked on and my complete history. I felt so at ease and instantly felt this was the right place for me. Massages are one of my favorite things I do for myself to give myself "me time" and I often search for deals before paying full price. My first massage was on a particularly rough day at work, I walked in stressed beyond belief and super tense. Never did I think I would feel as amazing as I did when I got up from her table! Between the oils she uses, which are environmentally friendly by the way, to the soft background music and relaxing sounds I truly felt I had an amazing little escape. I couldn't wait to book my next 2 appointments! Which I did with ease, she was able to schedule me exactly when I wanted. Yesterday was my last massage from the deal and I purchased a package with her so I can be sure I get in to her every 2 weeks! As I said before this is something I have never done because I have never found someone who really listens and gives me the right massage I need for that day or for the way I feel each day I meet with her. I have chronic back pain and neck pain since I was in the early twenties... That is thirty years!!!! I go to the chiropractor faithfully and had many massages. However going to Marleny I felt pain free for the first time in a long time. One of the best massage experiences ever.. Lovely woman, nice place, great energy.. I couldn't continue the rest of my day without writing a review on this place. Marleny is amazing! I got a one hour deep tissue Swedish massage and fell into the deepest state of relaxation that I've ever encountered while getting a massage. After coming here, I refuse to go elsewhere. Marleny is genuinely concerned about what will make her clients most happy and comfortable. She familiarizes herself well with any ailments or issues you may be experiencing so that she can address them properly during your massage. Her hands are magical and feel like a dream, just make sure to try and stay awake during your massage so that you remember it! She offers great packages for multiple massages, so take advantage if you can. The rooms and location itself are very clean and smell pleasant which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Bought a deal on Travel Zoo for sis and I and enjoyed my 90 massage w/ a glass of wine and trail mix so much that I purchased a package of 3 massages& a bought an additional massage for a friend of mine!! First of all from the moment I called to book my initial massage, Marlene was beyond accommodating. Since my schedule can be difficult, she never lost her cool& was so patient in making sure she could fit me in. The spa is clean as a whistle, and so relaxing!Don't understand what the last reviewer is talking about??? The ceilings are not falling& certificates are up on the wall as soon as you walk in on the left.Marlene listened to my requests for specific areas to be worked on&was extremely professional. I'm very picky about my massages, I want someone professional, polite, knows what their doing& of course "magic hands"! And Marlene is definitely all the above!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! If I could give this place no stars, I would. Any five star review of this place is either a friend of the owner or the owner herself because everything said in the good reviews is complete bullish*t. The place is ANYTHING but inviting. It's a complete crap hole - completely inauthentic crammed up with crap - fake flowers, chachkies and eastern collectibles that all look fake. The SMELL of the place is overwhelming. Overly powerful perfume. I was taken to one of only 2 rooms in the small place and noticed that everything looked like it was held up by tape. I lay down and got a good look at her dropped ceiling which was falling apart. This amazing image just before I closed my eyes and inhaled yet some more overpowering perfume oil. Marlene - who everyone on Yelp seemed to have - was horrific. I didn't notice any certificates on her walls which proved true in her "technique." She had none. Way too firm in areas that were already sensitive and which she had full knowledge of tension. Then for the rest of my body it was the same rubbing strokes over and over and over and over and over and over again...AHHH! Not massage - just skin rubbing. WASTE of a precious hour and a half off. I stopped her early cause I just couldn't take anymore. Oh - I almost forgot the music - the same pathetic generic "eastern massage" song playing over and over and over and over again. Like the others, I too got a 'deal'. I've tried many others and as far as I'm concerned, Marleny is one of the best. I agree that the negative review posted here is just plain mean. Which is so sad because your bad attitude can really negatively impact the reputation and livelihood of someone who is trying to do some good in the world. I had a massage today and let me tell you that I walked in much the worse for the wear. When I walked out I felt SO MUCH BETTER. I was energized and able to face the world again. Marleny is quite obviously caring, skilled and professional. And genuinely interested in making you feel better. I'm not sure what else one could want in a masseuse. I've already enjoyed the 3 massages that came with my deal and I'm considering buying a package. read more

The massage was good enough; done by an intern who had not finished massage school yet, a fact which ought to have been disclosed up front. Probably a good local massage place for Bloomfielders. The owner offered wine, which turned out to be a half glass of old brew (as in turned to vinegar). Not quite the spa that the website claims. read more

I went here for a 60 minute massage a few weeks ago. The place was very relaxing and comfortable. The massage was very good and I was quite relaxed at the end. A previous poster did mention the repetitive music. I did not mind, I actually found it kind of relaxing. I did not see any issues with the ceiling and certs were on the wall.
