AV Mall location. Awful, deceptive service. They charged my young adult daughter over $300 for a battery replacement in a iPhone 11 without disclosing the price beforehand. There was also no price list in the store that we could visibly see. I went there to try and get justification. I argued that I know we're paying a little bit more for the convenience of being close, but Apple only charges about $89 and I didn't understand the huge price difference. He blamed it on my daughter for not asking about the price first. Continually talked over us while trying to dispute. He criticized her by telling her she should take better care of her phone (In my opinion, she's done a fantastic job taking care of her phone considering it's 6 years old and took this long to need a repair). He tried to make it all better by offering her a phone case for free. We declined and filed a complaint with Mall Management. He took advantage of a naïve young lady. Very predatory and very condescending. I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but this shady service was over the top. I'm hoping my review helps at least one person from getting taken advantage of. i just bought a cell phone case in there for $35 i didn't get any receipt and the guy in the store threw my old case away, he acted like he didn't speak any english when i went back two times for leaving me bag and he ignored me when i said i didn't like the case and wanted to return it. The case was to heavy and it was terrible I found another case but the case was simple and in any other store it would be a 10-20 case the guy said it was the same price he lied they make up there own prices in their which is absolutely gross . Buyer beware! I would give negative stars if I could. Took my iphone 11 pro max to the store inside the Westfield Southcenter mall in Seattle two weeks ago to have my cracked screen replaced. The guy looked at my phone and quoted me $130 to replace. This price seemed very reasonable as i had been quoted $200 everywhere else. he said he'd have it ready in 30 min. When I picked up the phone he charged me $143 with tax and I left. When I got in the car i immediately notices the colors of the display and hue was off, but otherwise the screen looked brand new and I was glad it wasn't cracked anymore. Over the past two weeks I have experiences nothing but PROBLEMS with my $1200 phone that DID NOT exist before I had the "new" display placed. My phone battery life has been litterally reduced by half. The phone now heats up in my hand so hot I have to turn it off. There is a dark grey shadow that appeared in the bottom left corner of the display. The touch screen no longer works properly and will often not work at all when I tap the screen or pick up the phone. The colors/hues of the screen are completely off. I live in Central Oregon and when I called the company back to complain that they had ruined my phone, they took ZERO responsibility and said they only use "quality" parts and that my new phone problems had NOTHING to do with the new display. Anyway, I'm out $143 and will now have to take my phone to an authorized Apple repair center (should have does this to begin with) and pay another $280 for the correct part. This was expensive tuition. Lesson learned, price out the part, if it seems to cheap, it probably is. These guys are total CROOKS and probably put some crappy $40 LCD screen on my phone which is not compatible. read more

INCOMPETENT: Worst experience ever!! Do not bring your phone here for any repairs. I brought my IPhone X for a simple battery change and they completely ruined my phone. Two days after I got my phone back I discovered that I could not use any of my volume buttons, no sound on any videos and my power button didn't work. I stopped by and spoke to one of the managers, Sal, who said the other manager Jay failed to change the flexible cable and he needed to order a new cable. Two days later Sal called to say he got the new cable and it would only take 45 minutes to repair my phone. Two hours later Sal was apologetic and said that Jay had ordered the wrong part for an iPhone XS and not an IPhone X. Sal tried to Jerry rig it but failed. At this point I was furious and had no confidence in this slipshod outfit.He said he could try to order the correct part but I demanded my phone and money back and took it to a real professional repair shop, SDFIXIT in Silverdale. They were able to fix my phone and found that PhoneFix Pro did a terrible job ripping my old battery out and nearly destroying the inside of my phone. They damaged the WiFi module, damaged the Face recognition module, volume flexible cable as well and never replaced the water resistant seal. Fortunately SDFIXIT was able to repair all the damage. I hate to write poor reviews, especially for small businesses during this pandemic but this was atrocious work by PhoneFix Pro. What a joke. . After 11 years of owning iPhones, I broke by iPhone 11 Pro Max screen. I decided to take it to Cellaxs for repair. The price quoted ( $257) was less than Apple by about $100. The technician said they just received the screen replacements in for this type phone, and he confirmed that he knew how to do it repair. It took @15 minutes and we were on our way. Within 2 hours I started getting 'black screen' along with warning from Apple that they detected unauthorized equipment. A hard reset would fix the black screen for about 40 minutes. Finally the black screen would not clear with a hard reset. The story ends with me taking the phone to Apple, learning that various connections were not done, along with the color resolution was WAY off. Another $352 later, I walked out with my phone repaired and a hard lesson learned. read more

Very unhappy with my experience there. I had purchased a plan with them that allowed us to replace screen protectors at a very minimal charge. Whenever our screen protector had cracked in the past, they have always honored this program, until yesterday. They charged me for two brand new screen protectors, and claimed that they didn't "understand" me when I told them I was in this program because their employees do not speak English very well nor understand it. When I called him out on the fact that, that was the very first thing I told him when I walked in, they then tried to tell me that the company is under new ownership, and so there was nothing they could do. They originally quoted me 150 to repair my phone screen and asked me to come back in an hour. When I came back an hour later the phone had only been unscrewed and they had upped the price to 280 for repairs. when I wanted it back in the unfinished condition (cause what the sh**) they refused unless I paid for their labor...of unscrewing the phone. when I went to get security, I came back to find that they had 'thrown it away'. Got two new screen protectors and two cases for mine and my husband's new phones. Less than a week later both screen protectors fell off. I took them back since the guy told me they would be covered under warranty just keep my receipt. I took them back and he tried to charge me $5.00 each to replace them. I called the day before to get an estimate for a screen repair for an iPhone 7 (hoping things weren't more serious than that!) and was told $95 plus tax. Since I had checked with a couple other places and was given higher prices I decided to go with Cellaxs. Took the phone in the next day. Sal looked at it, said it should be $95 + tax and told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. Stopped back in 20 minutes just to let Sal know I would pick it up later; changed my shopping plans. I brought my iPhone XR to get the cameras removed. Dropped it off with technician and he said he'd call me when ready. A day later no call and I show up and he says oh yeah we weren't able to do it and hands me a phone with a cracked screen. And doesn't even mention the screen. After I bring it up he then says oh yeah that happened when we tried to get the camera out. He then orders a new screen to replace it for me. Takes over a week for me to get my phone back even though they received the new screen already. I get it back and the screen is still popped out and the technician says "oh it must be a loose screw" and says there is nothing they can do about it. One week later my phone is starting to have a blacked out screen across the top. This is ridiculous. Not to mention when I get back the technician says yeah we can't do IPhone 10 generation and tells me that one of the new technicians didn't know. iPhones are extremely popular, especially that generation. My daughter bought a cell phone case from them. A few min later realized the case didn't close completely. We took it back, the employee tried to convince her it was okay if one side didn't secure properly. All the other cases she looked were the same way. He tried to suggest it was because of her screen saver. Said he couldn't give a refund only the manager can. Stated manager wouldn't be in till Wednesday. I went in and talk to a person claiming to be the manager. He refused to give a refund would only let her exchange. When I told him all the ones she liked and tried didn't close. He still refused to give a refund. When I asked him if he doesn't have a problem with his employees or himself taking advantage of kids, or ripping off customers by selling ineffective products. Me and my dad went to the mall to get my screen protector fixed and my dad asks the guy is this the only place we can get screen protectors and the guy said yes so we got my screen fixed and then we got ice cream and then we saw the place that we originally got the screen protecter from that we had a warranty from and we put in my phone number in and that was the place and we cant replace the screen protector unless we have the broken one so we went back to Cellaxs and told the owner that was not the only place there and the owner said that he could not get the screen protector back and if we couldn't but he said he would give us a 15 percent discount so We went back to zaggs and the guy said give me that phone let me take that peace of trash off and took it off and put the other screen protector on and then we went outside we se the guy outside and he said go to my place in 15min and I will give you full refund so we went back to the truck and my dad said leave your phone in the car so we go back inside and my dad said the other guy ripped your screen protector off and gave us a better one and he said give me your phone and he said go get your phone and bring it back so i am never going back there again and the owner was a scammer and we never got are money back read more

I got my iPhone 7 screen replaced 1 week ago. Yes this place can replace your screen in a timely manner and get your phone looking new ASAP. But the new screen will be a knock off brand that looks and feels like an apple product but doesn't have the same functions. When you put your phone to your face when you're on a call, the screen doesn't auto-dim, so if you're not careful you may hit speaker phone, mute or hang up the call. Also, if you're on a call and press the lock button, it will end the call rather than lock the screen. A few days after getting my screen replaced, it started to glitch and the whole touch screen went out. I went into the store to try and get a refund and see if they could do anything about it and was told "all iPhones do this, you should have done your research before coming to my business." For $110 after tax, its worth spending the extra $40 at the apple store for a real, quality product. read more

Cellaxs has exceeded my expectations. My iPhone 5s screen had been broken for months. The screen was completely shattered and despite my best efforts to tape it up, several pieces had fallen out. After a fatal fall last week my screen stopped being responsive to touch, so I finally relented to get it repaired. I popped by the Cellaxs kiosk in the Kitsap Mall (next to T-Mobile/JCPenny). No lines, no hassles. Cellaxs was able to repair my screen in roughly 30 minutes for only $75! The screen is responsive to touch and it looks like my multiple mishaps never happened. He said he could do it, and failed to inform me that he would be using used parts( that were dirty btw) and it would cost extra. When I went back to check on my phone it was two different colors and looked like he had absolutely no idea what he was doing! He knew this, because he was quick to offer me a full refund, after he swapped my prefectly good cover parts for some crappy ones. Ugh, if I could give zero stars, I would. I had to have my screen replaced back in October so I used these dumb people. THEN, for some reason my phone wouldn't go dark while I was talking on it. I brought it back and it turns out they had to fix the sensor because the installer didn't put the screen in right. NOW, the screen has cracked (when I turned the volume up) and their 90 day guarantee doesn't cover that. It was like pulling teeth to get in touch with them. I called, texted and called again. I even had to call the mall office to see if they were still in business, because I'd been trying to contact them all day. Then, when I finally heard from them, they told me that "I was too stupid to understand what he was saying.", when it was his ACCENT that made it so I couldn't understand. And then he hung up on me. After explaining that I couldn't understand his accent, he told me that his product is perfect and if I showed up there he'd have security escort me out. I've contacted BBB. So unprofessional. Exceptionally BAD experience. Worst service we have ever received. Spare yourself the heartache and avoid this place, it is worth a drive to use another reputable company. Going to be brief- Phone worked even though screen was damaged. We paid for a repair. Phone began malfunctioning shortly after returning home, then stopped working altogether. There is no physical damage to the phone, nothing happened except the repair. We emailed corporate, no response. Visited the kiosk twice and received the absolute worst customer service. Rude, aloof, lying, deflecting and not interested in honoring the repair work. He can always claim physical damage is to blame and that is his out, even though zero physical damage is present. He tried to show us videos of the repair: the phone wasn't my son's, it was just a random repair. He refused to correct the problem, wanted to charge more money and then told us to leave. Smiling smugly behind the counter, avoiding eye contact and deflecting. Serious lack of integrity here and have not heard a single good thing about this particular vendor at the mall. We visited another similar kiosk and Verizon, they both said the same exact thing. Please do yourself a favor and choose another reputable vendor. As a small business owner myself, I understand people can be difficult. But if you care about what you do and what people think (this is a people-driven business), you tend to go out of your way to make sure customers are satisfied.
