My Samsung S3 screen cracked and needed to be replaced. I did a Google search with the hope to figure how to replace it; luckily, I spotted Cellspot. I gave them a jingle to make sure they can fix my phone and told me it'll be $89.00(plus tax). Upon arrival, I was greeted by a two friendly faces. I ended up working with Ali who is kind and professional. He told me there's a two hour wait to have the screen repair. With no agenda, I sat inside the waiting area. The waiting area is comfortable. I like their large "graveyard" glass displaying all of the cracked/broken cellphones. They offer complimentary chips and bottled water; just enough to make the experience more enjoyable. A small flat screen to keep their customers entertained. I watched a few episodes of funny clips, and there were quite amusing. I went here to have my iPhone 5s screen replaced. The first time I was pleased with the service. It's clean facility, the repair was quick and the staff is polite. The charge for the replacement was $60. Unfortunately, I needed to replace my screen again two months later. This time when I went back the price was $100. They said parts were more expensive. It doesn't make sense to me that parts for a phone that is not the newest model can be getting more expensive? Previously I paid for the repair and no warranty. This time I was required to pay for the warranty as well. I would have been a happy customer if they had honored the price they gave me only two months before. They were able to see the transaction in their computer records. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because of the outstanding customer service from Wayne in the front. He was very polite and did the most he could, the manager on the other hand would not even come to the front to greet me and explain why the price had nearly doubled. Instead they made Wayne go back and forth to barter the price with me down to a total of $93 dollars. *** UPDATE After posting this review the owner Ali personally called me and explained why the pricing on the screens had gone up and how this was affecting his pricing. The work is decent, with some glue sticking out on the edges, and when there are other customers, they can be a bit slow. They'll ask you to write a good review for bit of a discount which I wasn't hesitant to give but I would not say you'll get the absolute best work done. Pretty good for a decent price. NEVER EVER go to this place for phone repairs. My phone (galaxy note 5) wouldn't charge every time I tried to charge it so I asked them to fix my phone. They did fix the problem with the charging system, however, they scratched off the color of the home button because they carelessly took apart my phone. But I didn't really care about it as long as my phone could charge properly. The day after I received my phone, HOWEVER, a blue blurry spot started to appear from the corner of my screen and it started to get bigger. It got really big that I couldn't read anything and I couldn't click anything where that blue spot was. I went to several phone repairs and they told me it's because Cellspot mishandled the LCD screen while repairing my phone. I went to this place again to complain but they kept saying that it's not their fault. I left my phone number so I could talk to the owner about this but he never called me. I kept calling this place to speak to the owner but they kept saying that he's "busy". And they said that the so-called warranty that I had was only limited to fixing the charging system of my phone. If I wanted to fix my screen, I had to pay them an ADDITIONAL $170 for something that they messed up. I eventually spoke to the owner after a month passed since this incident​, and he wasn't any different from the workers there. He said that it wasn't their fault and that they couldn't fix without additional charge. I never saw any place where customer service sucked like this place. If you don't want to waste your money and time like me GO FIND ANOTHER PLACE. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would... My Android phone got wet and I found CellSpot on Yelp so I took it to James.... He was able to repair my phone and now it is as good as new. If you happen to get your cell phone wet, bring it to him as fast as you can. Do not wait....that is the worst thing you can do and forget about putting your phone into rice...just bring it to him. I took my phone here probably 3 or 4 times total... originally, I found this place with a Groupon deal and went with them just because it was cheap. I SHATTERED my phone screen and I didn't believe that it could ever actually be repaired. I really thought it was done for completely. I figured even if it couldn't be saved, the Groupon deal was cheap enough that it wouldn't be such a big loss. I came by on my lunch break at work and dropped my phone off. I told them I would be back in 3-4 hours (when I got off work) so they could take their time. Half an hour later, I received the call that my phone was ready. I picked it up and it was perfect. The second time I came here, about a month later, my phone was fine, but the new screen they installed begun having weird "lines" all over it and the phone was rendered useless. It was pretty much broken. I researched this and it is due to a "3rd party screen" defect that apparently is pretty common (Apple's actual screens are exclusive to Apple, so no repair shop who doesn't have a direct contract with them cannot use genuine Apple products.) I came in and they gave me a new screen, free of charge. The guy explained to me exactly what I read online -- it happens sometimes, but each repair is covered with a 90 day warranty and anytime this happens they will replace it for free. The third time, shattered my phone again. I didn't freak out like before because I KNEW these guys could take care of it! Even though their Groupon deal was not active anymore, they still honoured the price I paid previously. I was in the area for only an hour (I work about an hour away) and they told me they were backed up and didn't know if they could fix my phone in an hour or not... I understood, but hated having to stay in this area longer than I had to (the later I leave to go home, the longer traffic is.) Half an hour later my phone was ready ! 30 minutes!!! GREAT customer service and my phone came out looking like new again! The fourth time, I got the "lines of death" again and they replaced my screen for free again. GREAT customer service and very friendly. Also great price. My only complaint is that sometimes you have to wait a bit in the "lobby" area for somebody to come and help you because I think they're short staffed or something. They usually acknowledge you though and say that they would be there soon. read more
