Went in to get my mini-usb charging port fixed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for $65. When I got it back, the fast charging feature no longer worked since they use aftermarket parts. They claimed to have replaced the mini-usb charging port but it still didn't work so they gave me a $30 refund. Thought we were all squared away but afterwards the earbud speaker no longer worked (probably didn't put everything back together correctly) so I had to go back again to fix it. Overall they did an okay job as my phone now charges, but since the fast charging feature is not compatible with their aftermarket part my phone takes about six to eight hours to fully charge when it used to take one hour. I wish they would have told me this prior to me getting my phone fixed, I could have just bought Samsung wireless charging pad for about $20 on Amazon. read more

I brought my Galaxy S3 in last week for them to re-solder my power button (phone would continuously hold the power button, thus opening the power options menu from time to time). I brought it in around 11am and the phone was ready within a few hours. The repair costed me about $60 bucks including parts, which wasn't bad considering its not your run-of-the-mill screen repair. Super fast service! Why did I wait so long to get my screen replaced? Didn't know what to expect since the place is located in the Aria supermarket, but I was pleasantly surprised. Literally, dropped my phone off and came back in 1 hour and it was like a brand new phone. Price was SUPER reasonable, way less than I expected. Other places that had quoted me were double what they charged. If I crack my screen again, (hopefully I don't) I would definitely bring it back here. I have some really mixed feelings about my experience with this business. I dropped my phone at work and the screen cracked. I looked for relatively inexpensive places to repair my phone the following day. I found CellSpot via Yelp and was very impressed by the reviews and owner responses. They also had (and still have) a promotion advertising a $99 screen replacement for several phone models, including my own (Samsung Galaxy S4). It was the most competitive deal I could find in my area, so I called their business and confirmed that the deal was still available and that my phone qualified. I drove down to their shop, a small space among a few others in a business plaza, and spoke with a different man than I had with on the phone. I showed him the damage and told him that I had spoken with another guy earlier about their screen replacement deal. Not only did he tell me that it would be a $150 instead of the $99, but he tried to upsell me on a screen and LCD replacement when I knew AND confirmed with him that the LCD was indeed fine. He went to the back to speak with somebody and came back disgruntled. Since I had refused to replace my LCD along with the screen, he told me that my wait would be a few hours longer and that he would give me a call on an alternative number once it was ready. I dropped my phone off around 12:30 and was given an estimate of 5:00. 5:00 came around and he told me that my phone wasn't quite ready yet, and that he would call me as soon as it was finished. I worried as their hours showed that they closed at 7:30. 7:00 rolled around and I gave their store a call, only to be answered by a woman this time who told me that my phone was ready. I raced down to their store and got there around 7:40, just as I saw them closing their blinds. I ran in and asked if there was any way I could get my phone, and explained the situation to whom I believe is the owner. I gave him cash for my phone and left my e-mail address for my receipt as the register system was closed (I have yet to receive my receipt). I'm not very happy with the service overall, but my phone appears almost new with the exception of the home button being slightly more depressed than it originally was. 5/5 for the phone repair 3/5 for the service read more

1 star for speedy service. However... never again will I have my Apple products fixed anywhere but the Apple Store! After visiting this shop my cell phone has "no service" or is constantly searching for service. ATT is my service provider so I took my phone to AT&T in the Tustin Market Place and customer service told me i needed a new sim card and replaced my old sim card with a new one... Which did NOTHING to improve my cell phone reception. Then after speaking with a customer service rep at ATT, I learned that Cell Spot regularly goes into this ATT store fishing/phishing for new clients and referrals from the employees at ATT. My contract with ATT up of renewal in 2 months. This has me wondering.... did cell spot break my phone? Or, did ATT kick me off their network in order to force my to buy a new phone prior to the expiration and renewal of my contract in order to avoid 'giving' a phone away with new contract? I was told by an employee at ATT that the only option was to buy a new phone. That sounds like bologna. This screams: "SCAM." This is the equivalent of your local tire shop 'spilling' a box of nails in the road so that everyone that drives that road has to get new tires. read more

I have a Samung ATIVS-NEO Windows phone that had an unresponsives screen. I had to call multiple repair shops before i found these guys bc my phone is uncommon and nobody had the parts in stock. What i liked about these guys is that they said they could have my part the next day and in the mean time give me a loaner phone. When i got to the shop looking further into it they said that they do not carry loaner phones for the Sprint network which would have been nice to know before i made the trip. Though i was a bit bummed out about the loaner phone they were still able to get the part the next day so i went with them. Overall the brothers were helpful and the new screen looks and works great so mission accomplished so thanks for the help!! read more

If you're looking for a place to get replacement batteries I'd look elsewhere. I called 2 days ago was told they had a NEW battery for my phone turns out they only had used ones. They said they could order one and have it ready next day and they'd call me. They never called so I called them. I was told they never placed the order but it just so happens they were getting a delivery today. I called just before going to conform they had a NEW Samsung battery, was assured they did. Showed up the battery they bring out is not a Samsung but some random battery in a plastic sleeve. The guy offered me a discount for not having correct new one so I said ok as I needed a working phone. Now that I've been home and examined it properly, it doesn't look new and I just noticed the water damage sticker that batteries all have was removed. So it seems they sold me a used one that had water damage. They sold it to me at less than 70% charge so after charging it myself and now using I've gone from 100% down to 88% in 10 min. Now after charging for over 3 hours my phone says the battery is 100% but as soon as I unplug it it drops down to 90%. My old defective swollen battery held a charge better than the one they sold me. Don't trust that you'll receive anything but a used battery. They have a 180 day warranty so I'm going to be contacting them tomorrow about getting a refund and taking my business elsewhere. I'll update later if they acknowledge anything. I can't say anything on any other service they provide but product sold to me was poor. Update 6/19/15: i was able to get a full refund no hassle so customer service plus a star. They also offered to replace but I got a free one from a friend so did the refund. For anyone looking at batteries they seem to only sell used or aftermarket ones. Maybe I got a dud. read more
