My iphone 4S went swimming in the washing machine with zero protection! YIKES! It was after business hours too. Found Cell Spot Tustin online and took the phone to them the very next morning. Erica opened it up and I could see that even after being in a bag of rice overnight, it was still really wet inside. Cell Spot Tustin was able to "dry it out" and turn back on in just 2 hours! After discussion with Romero, I decided to have the battery and screen replaced as well. Had my cell phone back in hand in just 6 hours!!!! Erica and Romero were both very helpful and professional. I shattered my phone screen and came here for a replacement. I paid for original iPhone parts but instead I got what appeared to be a bootleg screen. I replaced the new screen w my old shattered screen when I immediately noticed that the poor pixel quality and brightness. I was referred to this place from the AT&T store at the Tustin Marketplace. I hate dealing with anything related to AT&T because they're all two-faced liars, thieves and crooks that say one thing and do the opposite. However, I won't leave them because there are never any dropped calls and my husband uses the service for his business. So, the Iphone 5c had a busted screen and would not work at all. I felt that the referral was a little "iffy" but I tried it anyway. I was given a business card with a $5 off coupon. I was in and out of CellSpot as promised in 30 minutes. Shawn took my order. He quoted $99 for the new screen, before the $5 coupon. Shawn also recommended the tempered glass cover. He sold it to me for $15. My total out the door was $109. It is extremely painful to crack a screen and I sincerely hope I never have to go through this again. I definitely recommend CellSpot in Tustin. It is always upsetting to take care of a damaged electronic device but I felt good after the purchase. I was told there is a 6 month warranty. I hope I do not have to use it. read more

Got my phone fixed in an hour! I do advise for you to call a head and ask if they have your parts in stock before going to the shop AND clear any important info on your phone just in case like password, etc. I reset my phone to factory setting, wiped the phone clean just in case. read more

Much faster and less expensive than taking my iPhone to the Apple Store. Shaun helped me out and he was great. I do want to note that the Manager of the specific branch did attempt to rectify the situation. He was the one who took initiative and offered the credit for labor. I do think that this branch was poorly managed in all my other interactions, which also should be the responsibility of management, but I wanted to make sure that he gets credit for that as well. read more

I made two visits to this shop and both were terrible and devastating. Do not trust this company to repair your phone!!!!!! They use faulty screens and poor business practices! 1) I came to the shop to repair my cracked phone screen. I initially thought the screen would be repaired in front of me since I know the repair can be done in less than a minute with an experienced technician and the right tools, but, for some reason this particular company takes the phone into the back and tells you to come back in 30 minutes. What are the other 29 minutes for? I immediately had a bad feeling as the clerk took my unlocked phone into the back. Anyways, I got my phone back, screen repaired, and I was satisfied with my purchase. I left the store and took a closer second look at the phone while in my car. I noticed a small yellow discoloration on the side of the screen, but it was too little for me to bother spending another 15 minutes waiting on. I was frustrated, but it wasn't enough for me to write a bad yelp review. A few days later, the phone screen was suddenly glitching and scrolling uncontrollably when I tried to check the time. I was unable to use the phone. I concluded that the screen they gave me was damaged because of the discoloration. 2) I returned to the store and had my phone screen replaced for free. This time the repair took just 5 minutes. I was confused by the difference in repair times. Why were they different? What was different in procedure??? I was very suspicious about what they were doing behind the scenes at the time. A day later I noticed a dead pixel on the bottom right of the screen that I had missed on first inspection. I concluded they gave me another faulty screen... No biggie, I can deal with one dead pixel... *eye twitches angrily* Being given two faulty screens is not enough for me to write a bad review on yelp. However, what happens next is why I wrote "devastating" in the beginning of my review and why I'm forced to notify others of the damage this company has done to me. About three days later after I had the screen replaced for a second time, my phone was telling me that the memory was full. I had only used 30% of my total storage last time I checked. What could be filling up all the space? I deleted some songs to see if that would free up space, but still the phone was still reading full. What was going on? How could it still be full if I deleted 400mb of songs? I couldn't store any text messages or photos because of this. Even if I deleted entire albums I was still at maximum capacity. My phone was essentially bricked. It was just mere days since I repaired the phone at cellspot and I was having problems. Not to mention the mysterious extra amount of time it took them to repair the screen. I concluded that cellspot installed malware onto my phone. The loss of my ability to store memory, even after I made room by deleting files, was too unusual not to associate with the extra time they spent tinkering with my phone. I was forced to wipe my phone and reset it, deleting all of my precious photos that I had saved over the years. I was afraid of backing up my data onto my computer as it could have also saved the software cellspot installed onto my phone that was keeping me at max storage capacity. Those photos had a lot of personal value to me and cellspot forced me to delete them. No amount of money can replace what was lost. Only financial damage to this company through the loss of sales from my review can appease me. Do not use this company to repair your phone! There is significant risk that they will install a faulty screen and a chance you will find malware installed onto your phone! Take a word of advice from some random pissed off person from the internet and save your time and money! Use any other company than this one, and make sure to have them do the procedure in front of you to ensure nothing fishy happens behind the scenes!!! Two faulty screens and the loss of all my data! DO NOT TAKE THAT RISK. read more

My Galaxy S4 screen was turning black for some reason. I called Cell Spot and asked if it was fixable. They let me know that the LCD had a problem and that they were able to fix it within an hour or two. I let them know that I didn't have time to come in and drop it off and they offered to come pick up and drop off my phone for an additional $10. With my busy schedule it sounded like an awesome deal.
