I have to say that recently the care received from them has not been good. I just had an annual physical conducted by Mary and felt the visit was rushed. Although there are signs posted everywhere that annual well visits should only be that with no mention of other things such as not feeling well, I did mention at the visit that I have not been feeling good for a long while. The conversation was brushed off and I allowed that to happen because I knew I would be getting a full blood panel completed. When the results were received I learned that the white blood cell count was very low and had been that way for an entire year! While this physician group is generally pretty good I feel they have failed me. I had been to that office many times during that one year span for various reasons and no one thought to check previous bloodwork or anything in my file to get to the bottom of why I was not feeling good. What is the point of doing physical exams each year if you cannot go in and discuss any concerns you may have and notice about your general health? It also concerns me that there are many older people who do not manage well with technology and yet they force a new app on all patients to get their results from tests. The quality of care just did not seem up to par on my last visit and they should do better. Mary should do better.

All of that for $15! The center is located in a plaza that's not too far from Frank Ski's Lounge. I mention that particular landmark, since an employee gave it to me as a reference when setting my appointment. Upon entering, no one said anything. A new trainee handed me a clipboard with the normal "paperwork" that all these clinics and salons or whatever random company must keep on file nowadays. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. I was seen by the doctor's assistant, who talked with me about goals, current diet, and how I can improve. I'd already lost a couple stubborn lbs. on my own, I just wanted the cheat pills. Hehe. Instead of me returning for 3 more weeks of B-12 injections, I opted for 1 Lipotonic shot. Umm... They give it to you in your bum cheek, so be ready. Not painful for me at all. The assistant tells me that they will mail the appetite suppressants to my house. Huh? Who does that? Just give em to me while I'm here. The sales lady comes in, flies through a bunch of stuff I already knew, then she was out the door. She left the suppressants and vitamins with me. Good. Finally, the doctor comes in. He's an older guy with a potbelly and a little extra weight on him... He acknowledged this immediately & pointed out the irony in him running a weight loss clinic but being a bigger guy himself. He reiterated everything the assistant said about my current diet habits and exercise. Aaand, that was about it. The pills aren't as effective as the type I had before at a different clinic. They don't totally get rid of my appetite like the others did. Nonetheless, I've managed to drop a few pounds through sheer willpower. This was an ok experience.
