What was once a well maintained and peaceful place, now looks like a scene out of an old western movie, depicting an abandoned Cemetery out in the middle of nowhere! I informed them on August 11 asking what kind of leadtime do you need the one on the phone didn't understand why I was trying to tell her I explained to her when can we have the service based on what you need to do she was blank. I then ask about the marker which has been paid for she said well they may have to carve on that. I explained to her there's nothing to carve. It's a marble placard or their bronze plate on top of it with our name and birth on it. She tells me all they may have to check that up and send it out. I told her not on my nickel. Second person says no they'll come in and somehow put their numbers on the bronze plaque. He'll get back to me. Never dead I call again. I get this last woman. She finally could answer her questions. She then tells me that in addition to $900 to open up the grave I'll be another $300 to put the numbers or the date of where you wanna call that my wife passed away and then ask her what is provided when you open up the grave because the other two could never tell me she tells me they will open up the grave and prepare it. There will be some kind of a device. The container I bought fits into to bury. I'm kind of a concrete device container whatever she also tells me that Singing hills will provide a table and a microphone, and some chairs to that forms me there forms that need to be signed back again to can you do that Howard I just explained to you. Yes she then tells me there's another form that needs to be something from the County of San Diego my Brother. Brother will take care of that. Nothing about losing a loved one is ever easy, but Iris, our family service advisor, was so reassuring and helpful in guiding us through the arrangements for my mom's interment. There were no high-pressure sales pitches. We were simply informed of our options and offered choices that met our family's needs. I especially appreciated being able to work with Iris throughout the entire process. On the day of my mom's interment, Iris was waiting for my cousin and me at the gravesite with everything prepared. Her calm demeanor and steady presence were very reassuring. She followed our lead and allowed the moment to unfold naturally, without making it feel formal or scripted. I'm also thankful for her suggestion that we take photos and for the thoughtful way she arranged the flowers and mementos I had brought before my mom's urn was placed in the vault. Those gestures meant a great deal to me. Thank you, Iris, for helping us create a peaceful final memory of caring for our dear mom, grandma, and aunt. Kimberly walked us through every step and was super responsive whenever we reached out with questions. Kimberly also managed the process of getting my mom a spot at Miramar National Cemetery. We met with Kimberly shortly before my mom passed so it was amazing to have a plan in place and steps to follow and someone guiding us the whole time. The mortuary also has a chapel and dining area so you can hold services and a reception on site. The whole family/team at Bravo were great and provide an outstanding experience. 10/10 recommend.

We wanted to serve coffee and some snacks, they had 3 tables ready to go in the back of the room which I decorated and arranged food on. I brought 2 carafes to make coffee in as well as table decorations and some finger foods. It worked out perfectly. Overall, we were all so grateful for everything England Family Mortuary had to offer and the services they provided. They are 3 generations of caring individuals who put a great deal of pride into their work and mortuary. I would use them again in a second. From the very beginning, Thomas and Jodi treated us and my mother with gentleness, dignity, and deep respect. Jodi was exactly the person we needed to guide us through the difficult paperwork and the emotional process of choosing the final items for my mom's goodbye. She made it feel manageable, even when it felt like the world was falling apart. Thomas... I don't even have words for how grateful I am for him. He has a gift, he can read a room with so much grace and compassion. On one of the worst days of my life, he made things bearable somehow. He honored my mom as a vessel that carried her spirit, and he was deeply respectful of our traditions. He's a truly special person, and I will never forget his presence during that time. I hope I don't have to return for a long time, but when the time does come again, I wouldn't trust anyone else with the sacred task of preparing a loved one for the next world.
