We stopped by the Cenote after reading a few reviews, and that this would be another option to see three different Cenote's. After we paid and went to the first open Cenote, we noticed a film of various leaves and miscellaneous from the trees above the Cenote. The water looked very stagnant, with no flow of water either way. We found a section on the left by the stairs that we decided to go into. After going in with our snorkeling mask, we noticed that the water was indeed dirty, and that there was trash on the bottom. Needless to say, we did not stay in that Cenote long. We then went to the second open Cenote to see how that looked. That Cenote was in worse condition than the first. After feeling completely ripped off $$, we went to the cave Cenote which was beautiful! It appears that they do no maintenance to preserve these Cenote's . We have been at many more Cenote's, that are beautiful, and maintained well. The pictures that we saw, were simply misrepresented!! We feel that we were misguided. I would NOT recommend this vender.
Do your homework before you go to this Cenote.
We are very dissatisfied and disappointed customers!! read more
