We have eaten here as guests of our friends in Ashland several times but I haven't reviewed it because I thought it was not open to the public. I made that assumption because it's on the grounds of the Centennial Golf Club, but learned this morning that it is open to the public, so here's the review. The restaurant is attached to the pro shop and bar in an attractive, commanding building overlooking the valley. There's an indoor dining area, but the place I like best is the covered patio overlooking the golf course w/ the mountains in the background. They serve breakfast, lunch and snacks and are probably open until about 4:00PM. The menu is varied, from oatmeal to omelets to hamburgers and hot dogs. Eggs Benedict are not on the menu but that's what we had this morning at our friends' special request and they were great, w/ a well balanced Hollandaise. I can't promise they'll make 'em for you, but it can't hurt to ask. The chef knows his way around the kitchen. He also makes what I understand is killer salsa, if that's something that interests you. Ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich. Hardly any turkey, too much cream cheese with cranberry. It dripped all over. Tater tots were good and crispy. I was not impressed!!! read more

Very disappointed in the quality & food preparation the past two times I've been there. The first time was when having dinner there a few months ago. We made reservations and were expecting to have all of the normal items on the menu available only to be told that they didn't receive their food shipments. Only cold items were available. Today I met a friend there for lunch and ordered my usual Centennial salad with grilled shrimp. No bacon on the salad which is on the menu, shrimp were over cooked and much smaller. The lettuce was not fresh like always before. The waiter said it was a new cook in training. Very disappointed. I always loved going there in the past. read more

Nice views. Located at the Centennial golf course. I had the Caddy melt. It came with grilled onions, Swiss cheese and a thousand island type sauce. It was very good. The atmosphere was good and the service outstanding. read more

Lavender Lemon Drop martini and a view- I can't wait for a little warmth to be able to sit outside at our favorite table again. The wild Alaskan sockeye salmon was perfect- great portion and the flavors were flawless. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the beef & broccoli. Our only suggestion is to make the prime rib French onion soup a permanent fixture on the menu! It was amazing and every time we go that you don't have it is our only disappointment! read more

I have been coming here for years and we have always felt like family here. The food is delicious especially the eggs Benedict in which I always order. I'm a big fan of the Bloody Mary and shrimp cocktail as well. Overall a wonderful spot to bring your family and friends for great food, wonderful staff and the view is nice! read more

Breakfast. Hash browns were 1/8" thick and crunchy crust (only). It almost looked like a piece of dark brown paper. Never seen anything like that before. Sausage patties also overcooked. Everything else was fine. Not sure who is doing the cooking. read more

They REALLY need to step up their food game. It's prob a good place for golfing but the food is god awful and never consistent. The salads definitely need an upgrade. Not everyone wants to eat fried food and burgers. Some of us like salads. When you asked for grilled chicken, be prepared for it to be burned and crunchy and hard/rubbery and the lettuce is yellow. Seriously, do better. Get people that care about their jobs and do better in the kitchen. Last time I ordered fish tacos and tater tots and the tots were soo oily and soggy and the tacos were bland. I also asked for aioli and they gave me sour cream and the waitress was so incredibly rude about it when I explained what aioli is --NOT dairy, it is flavored mayo! Not sour cream!! No reason to be rude about it, just admit youre wrong and correct it as a service industry worker. You exist to serve not argue and cause conflict and discomfort in your patrons. Grow up! read more

I went here for the first time last week. Beautiful place. We sat on the patio. Our server was very friendly but did let us know she was the only one there and it took a while to get our drinks and food going. Great lavender martini. Starter salads were good. The food arrived hot which was great. However, We both ordered different pastas and they were extremely bland. Neither of us ate much. Took them home and ended up tossing them. No flavor at all in the spaghetti or the chicken fettuccine. Decided to go back again tonight, service was poor. We were barely checked on. Onion rings were very over cooked. Sandwiches were ok. We were told at 6:45 that there was only 15 mins left. I guess that was our hint to leave although we had just gotten the check. We wanted dessert but ended up going elsewhere. We felt rushed out. Might try this place again but will be taking a break for a while. read more

We had a great lunch sitting outdoors looking at the golf course, very relaxing. I had their yummy basil pesto chicken sandwich my husband had a excellent ruben sandwich. If you like french fries theirs are very very good. We will definately be back soon. read more

I must admit I was more than pleasantly surprised at the Centennial Grille for a Sunday brunch. The food, cocktails, setting and service were very good. What's good here you ask? I had the California-Style Benedict (excellent) my significant other had the Buttermilk Pancakes (very good) friends had the Chip Shot Sandwich (recommended) and the Tee Box Breakfast (very nice)! The setting was very nice and even tho my golfing days are over, I'd recommend this as a pleasant diversion. read more

Well after eating here about once a month for almost a year now I can say they are solid. Food quality is great and has only gotten better since my first visit. Best place in town for a business lunch with all the outdoor seating you can enjoy the view with some privacy. Great lunch specials too. read more

The food is excellent and the service and servers are great. What is not great is go into a nice place and see the lights in the chandeliers are half or better burned out and not being replaced. This has been this way for several months and is beginning to make the Grille look pretty shoddy. Is it really so hard to replace burned out light bulbs? For your prices, the public deserves better! read more

Attended a baby shower here today and it was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and helpful, our waitress was the best I have had in a long time! Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I can't believe I haven't tried it sooner. Will be back soon! read more
