What a wonderful evening at One Fifteen Broiler!! We were able to snag a reservation last minute and the staff was amazing about it. It was a slower night so a few walk-ins also got tables but more often than not with this smaller location, a reservation is preferred. Everything we ordered was fantastic including the Mai Tai's off the tiki drink menu. The waitress even offered suggestions when we had questions or debated between items on the appetizer menu. The fried artichoke hearts came with a lovely lemon and fried caper sauce. The French onion soup had a wonderful broth, perfectly cooked onions and topped with plenty of croutons and cheese. Salads were slightly overdressed but a nice mix of iceberg/romaine and arugula. The entrees were definitely the star! Mushroom Risotto was done well, steaks were cooked to PERFECTION and the garlic mashed potatoes were perfectly garlicky. To top it all off, we had to get dessert and it was well worth feeling overly full. A great big portion of tiramisu and the most crispy sugar crust on the creme brulee.

Delicious food. Halibut and sirloin were amazing. Soup was pretty good but the French onion soup was amazing. Great server also

Seared halibut topped with crab in a bearnaise sauce. Crunchy panko crust! Wonderful mushroom risotto.

Had a great anniversary dinner there tonight! Marcy our waitress was wonderful. The ribeye my husband had was tender and flavorful - he loved it! I had the special of seared halibut in an amazingly crunchy panko crust - topped with crab & bearnaise sauce that was the best halibut dish I have ever enjoyed. The mushroom risotto was the perfect compliment. Lots of lovely local wines to accompany our dinner - which we appreciated. Topped it off with an incredible Tiramisu! We have enjoyed that in Florence, Italy - and this beat it! Oh, the mascarpone filling..... yum. Just an incredible meal. Best dinner we have had in the Rogue Valley in a long time. We will definitely be back!

What a gem of a place. Reservations only so plan ahead. But it allows for a great service experience. Kate was our server and was friendly and attentive. We reviewed the menu in advance and opted for the Beef Wellington and it was amazing. We had sides of scallop potatoes and risotto. Also had crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and brownie sundae for dessert. And craft cocktails. Everything was fabulous.

I asked if the coffee was any good. "Yep". Lie - Mcdonald's makes better coffee. Don't knock McDs unless you've tried theirs. The waitress did go out of her way to provide hot water so I could thin the tar. In general THE 2, 2 & 2 breakfast was satisfying. I couldn't finish eating the two pancakes they were so big (& also only OK on favor), my two over easy eggs were incredibly yummy and for my two pieces of pig I went with bacon. That was a mistake on my part. I only sampled the bacon since I'd totally pigged out at an brunch buffet eating half a dozen rashers only the day before. Not to waste Wonder Bur's thick sliced bacon which also seemed to be extra long I took them with me to enjoy later & I did.

Next door was a live music event which was nice. It was clean, small dining area. This place deserves a 10/10!!!!! This came with complimentary bread and butter

We had the two specials: my wife had the rib eye steak and I had the cioppino. The steak was served with a blue cheese butter, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Truly delicious. I like to think of myself as a cioppino snob as it is one of my favorite meals and I've had it at restaurants all over the world. I must say Carson's recipe is superb. His broth has subtle flavors of tarragon and fennel. He adds sole, blue crab and shrimp for the protein. It's truly outstanding and one the best I've had. Jolie is not only the hostess, but also the waitress and pastry chef. She's charming and really fun to talk to. She let us sample some of the full-bodied red wines as well as a nice Petite Syrah. She also enticed us to try her peanut butter shortbread dessert. It melted in your mouth. The restaurant decor is charming and cozy. It makes for a very intimate setting and Jolie and Carson makes it feel like your having dinner with good friends. Still the best restaurant in Grants Pass. Apparently, Carson makes Osso Buco, which is another one of my favorites. I will be sure to come back to try it.

Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.
