For some reason i was looking for 923 and they are 928 Nuuanu. Parking sucks but thats the only thing. There are only about 7 street parking stalls. Id rather pay 17 dollars for parking and see Dr Fowler again than go to other doctors. He offered me more free consultations if i felt i needed them which was very generous. I called and megan answered promtly and professionally. She helped me quickly find the office without making me feel like an idiot. I came super early in the case of me getting lost and i didnt get too lost so i was really early. Megan said shed try to fit me in early which she did and dr Fowler came in straight away. The office is super clean and fresh feeling. It feels more like home than a surgical unit. Im really excited to get my bbl and even more excited that they have a groupon special for fat transfer. They were great from reception to surgery day. Amber is lovely, the nurse was great, the anesthesia provider was amazing and put me at ease and made me laugh before going under, and Dr. Phan didn't really under promise but certainly over delivered. I have one small spot that may need a small revision (a really small dog ear, maybe) IF it doesn't just go flat and heal in the next 6 months, but I'm confident Dr. Phan will fix something if it needs it and I also know it's a very common occurrence after surgery and a quick fix. If I could afford to do my breasts, Dr. Phan would definitely be the plastic surgeon I'd choose. Hands down a better experience than I even could have asked for. CONSULTATION: I had a consultation with Dr. Phan and as like anyone else i was pretty nervous, i had watched all the youtube, TikTok videos i could find for breast aug and it didn't seem like enough. Dr. Phan is amazing at going through every detail and knowing what will suit YOUR body and what i liked most about him was he cares more of what looks BEST for YOUR body. If you haven't don't much research he is more than willing to answer your questions and he will work with you to find a good solution, one that you will also be happy with. SURGERY DAY: Prior to surgery day they will give you a packet basically telling you what need to do to prep yourself for surgery. When you arrive you need to the basics, take a pregnancy test, undress into the gown they give you. The nurse i totally forgot her name i was so anxious that morning lol, but she sets you up with an IV then you wait for doc to mark you up and after that you're into the OP room! After surgery, i honestly did not feel any pain once i got home i assumed there would be blood. LET ME TELL YOU, THERE WAS NOOOO DROP OF BLOOD, none! STAFF: Amber his receptionist is the sweetest! Always answers with a polite tone, always greets you at the door with a smile and a warm hello! Grace also so sweet and amazing, other receptionists need to take notes because they were so amazing i didn't have to dread walking into their office or just calling them because they were always so nice and you just always feel comfortable. POST-OP APPOINTMENTS: The amount of post-op appointments was so reassuring because he really wants to make sure that you are healing well and correctly. If you have any questions or concerns he will always go over things every appointment just so you are aware, and that you understand. OVERALL: I 1000% recommend Dr.Phan he is truly amazing , i read a review where he came off as rude, arrogant, Despite that review i came in for a consult and wanted to just see what it was like for myself, in actuality he is honest, genuine, and most importantly he wants what is best for the patient and he wants to achieve the patients goals in a safe manner, while meeting expectations! I was really skeptical about it at first only because I haven't seen much reviews on him, but I'm really glad I chose him and his staff. Let me just add that my appointment is not until mid-May so this review is pretty much just about my consultation. I walked in and I was seriously expecting snobby staff (I guess because the first office I consulted with was just snobby).....but I was totally wrong. I forgot one of the front office staffs name, but when she checked me in she was quick and gave me all the forms I needed to fill out. Then along came office manager Jen, who calls me in after 5 minutes of waiting in their lobby. She also acknowledged my husband to tag along in the consultation room and watch the introductory video they had me watch that way he knows what to expect. She transferred us to another room where we met with Dr. Dieffenbach. He was very soft spoken and answered my questions and concerns that I had. He didn't leave my husband left out of the conversation either. He asked if there was any concerns my husband had and even though he said no, he still went over certain things with him. Not like some doctors who are just okay with no questions asked. Jen and Dr. B weren't pushy so that was a plus and they both even said not to settle. They told me to not rush into making a decision and to call them when I was ready.... I'll keep yall posted post-op!
