I recently bought my Subaru Crosstrek from Center Subaru and was extremely happy with them. I had actually gone to a few other dealers beforehand and was on the verge of giving up on my dream of a brand new Subaru. I went to Danbury and got the impression they felt like they were selling Luxury Cars and couldn't be bothered unless you had a down payment in your hand when you walked in. I walked out of there with the idea of not even going with Subaru after that experience, however, I decided I would give Mid-Hudson Subaru a shot as I had heard good things. My experience there was much better as the salesman was friendly and courteous, however, they really didn't do much for me in terms of negotiating and I felt like I was being taken for a second ride. I had called around and came in contact with Bob (Marozzi) from Center Subaru. He asked me to come in and take a look at a Crosstrek. When their Crosstrek sold, he called me immediately to let me know not to make the hour drive up there if I was expecting a test drive. From that point on, I knew he had my best interests at heart. When I finally went up to talk with Bob, he was extremely polite and a mild mannered guy. He definitely took care of me and talked to me about all of the options, when certain vehicles would be available and what kind of prices and discounts would be available. He treated me like anyone looking to make such a large investment would want to be treated. He took care of me and really did whatever he could to make sure I was happy and felt comfortable with a sale. He was not pushy at all, just willing to work. He even made a 45 minute drive to my wife's work to get her signature on some paper work so she could be on the title as well. After talking to his sales manager, Miles, they were able to get me an incredible deal with as many rebates as possible. I was also shocked at how they went out of their way to get me my car in the color I wanted. When I had asked Mid-Hudson for my specific car, they told me I would have to wait 4 to 8 weeks, Miles and Bob worked it so I would be in my model, with a few additional perks, in just a few days! They have been extremely kind and considerate every time I have been in there since. Bob has even called me several times now just to check in and see how I am liking the ride. He really is the nicest salesperson I have ever dealt with and just an all-around good guy. Should I purchase a Subaru in the future, I will only need to make one stop at Center Subaru. read more

Well, I have to agree with the previous review on here and say that I am very surprised as well about all the negative reviews posted here for Center Subaru. However, then I look at the dates each review was posted and noticed many of them are from a few years ago. Not sure how they were back then but I recently purchased two cars from Center and I couldn't be more pleased with their sales team! I have purchased many cars over the years from many different dealers and bought my first Subaru back in 2009 from my local dealer here in Watertown (whom were much better then than I find them to be now) and have been a Subaru owner ever since. Long story short, my experience with Center was excellent! Not only was my sales person very knowledgeable about the vehicle, he was also very accommodating and friendly. As a matter of fact, everyone there was great! All smiles there... customer's included! I have purchased a used Impreza and a WRX (not at the same time) and the both transactions were straight forward and simple. They even gave me a lot more for my trade in than I thought they would... which, of course, made my purchasing decision even easier. I would highly recommend Center Subaru in Torrington to anyone looking for a new or used car because their sales team is very friendly and courteous and the overall experience, in my opinion, was wonderful! read more

I recently purchased a 2014 Subaru WRX a few months back from a man named Majid. I have to say, he was fantastic. He made my first experience at Center Subaru a great one. He was able to assist me and provide me with great knowledge on the vehicle that I purchased. He did not pressure me into purchasing a car that I was not really into. He listened to what it was that I was looking for. I told him what I can afford and the payments I was able to make and he made it happen. I have had the car for several months now and I could not be happier with it. I can honestly say, Center Subaru made buying a car very pleasurable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and reliable car. I also would like to mention that Subaru had a recall recently and they sent out a letter asking for me to call and set up an appointment for my car to come in and have the recall done. I thought for sure the car would be held up for a while seeing how a lot of cars had to come in and be looked at: however, I called them the next day, set up an appointment and low and behold, they fixed the issue while I was waiting there that same day. My Fiancée and I had a horrible experience at another Subaru dealership which shall remain nameless. We came to Center Subaru the next day and the difference was night-and-day. Mike was knowledgable and focused on giving us great customer service. He laid out options, spoke with us about finances, and ultimately found the perfect car I was looking for in my range. I was offered an amazing price for my trade-in and Joe even held the car for me without a down payment since it was the last of the 2016's on the lot. Spiro explained all the warranties in more detail that I have ever received while buying a car. The overall experience was upbeat, hassle-free, and comfortable. Communication was excellent during all stages and I appreciated the transparency and honesty from the whole team. Center Subaru delivered the experience I expected. I have given the 5 star rating that I have based off of my amazing experience that I had at Center Subaru. I've never had a good experience with leasing, let alone buying a new vehicle, however Cody Santore did a very great job in assisting my daughter and I with the three-year lease to own purchase of our new 2017 WRX. Looking back on my experience at the dealership I have to say it is one of the best I have had and I love that we did not feel pressured at all. Cody made sure that what I was looking for is what I got and it was within the price range that I needed it to be, I had a specific budget and Cody and the team at Center Subaru made sure that I got everything I wanted for around the exact amount that I could afford. No pressure no funny gimmicks . I came into Center Subaru the day my car died on me only hours before. Suffice it to say I was worried about being able to get a reliable vehicle let alone one at all. Clinton made sure my mother and I were comfortable and answered the million questions I had. He as well as others did their best with reassuring me they'd do their best and have me in a car. Everyone was professional and took pride in their work. Cody, Joe & Kit were important people as well, they worked as a team with Clinton as I think all co workers should. Its more than a job to them and you can see it in their work ethic and dedication. They gave me exactly what I wanted and I'm a proud owner of a new Subaru. I'd recommend it anyone to come down for their next car, new or used. You'll get excellent service every time. Previously we owned a saab 93 and love it. Unfortunately, the company is no longer in business and that consired us. To such a degree that we felt it time to trade it in for a car that we knew would not be a problem to have repaired. One day we happened to drive by Center Subaru and saw a P T Cruiser in the lot. My husband called and spoke to Gabby to set an appointment. Once their, we met her and the salesman, Frank. Whom, by the way was not your typical pushy car salesman. He was delightful and extrememly helpful. Just today in the mail came a thank you note from him...very thoughtful! So, now no more saab story to tell. We were savvy shoppers from Massachusetts with 3 kids & 2 dogs looking for a very specific model to replace our 12 yr. old Subaru that we enjoyed & we wanted another. Complete idiots wrapped in morons . Spend 24 hrs. Researching one of there inventory, hire a driver, drive for an hour in pouring rain, get there, met with wise ass remarks from manager about price on my phone while I'm getting out of hired car, spend hour checking out car, open check book, want to buy and leave, sales person walks up say, can't sell you the car, I have no title. What pile of tools advertises a car at a major Subaru dealer and has no titles. Never shop for a car or cup of coffee from these irogant , wise ass car salesmen and women. I'm shocked to see negativity about this dealership. We purchased an Impreza a little while back and we had a great experience dealing with Chris and all of Center Subaru. The only thing was we did have to wait a tiny bit to do the paperwork, but that's the only thing that could be considered negative. I considered it "expected". I went in because my ac wasn't working and I thought I had a recall. Called before and made an appointment. When I arrived I was ushered right in. They diagnosed the problem. The issue wasn't the recall but worked with me and fixed the problem within 2 hours on a holiday weekend. Amazing customer service and Ashley made it a great experience.
