Made a big purchase last year with a new truck that checked all the boxes...all the nice features that you want...cool color, music system that sounds better than anything that I have in the house, 6.2 liter engine, Super cruise feature that drives itself on the highway...and of course with a new truck I had to add some little touches that make it complete...you know, the laser fitted floor mats that the dealer doesn't give you, the bed cover, so you keep your tools, or groceries covered when you park, and the cool looking monochromatic American flag emblems on the side....but even with those final touches I was missing something....I liked my rims, but I didn't love them...and the tires were good but not great....and I knew I wanted a little more height but not too much....had to do something...and of course once you google or look at something on Facebook, or on Tiktok, you get inundated with ads...now I went back and forth a little with some of them, but one place stood out...Central Alps in Arlington...Johnny Gomez texted me and I was candid....I told him I really didn't know what I wanted...and he offered some suggestions...I would think about it, and we would text me again...and we would have another exchange....then a phone a call, where we had another discussion...Now Arlington isn't the closest shop to me, but I was close enough to drive down and sit down and narrow down what I liked at a price that wasn't cheap but was what I could live it...more importantly, before I made a decision I got to tour the shop and have a discussion with the shop foreman, Braden, who steered me to a set of rims like the ones he had put on one of his trucks...more importantly he explained that they had done a number of Denali Ultimates and knew the intricacies of ensuring that the sensors weren't thrown off on the Supercruise function...I was traveling for work and was able to leave my vehicle for a couple days which gave them ample time to complete the job (they didn't need it since they do 96% of their jobs in the same day)....very happy with the results.... 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate Lift: 4" BDS Suspension Wheels: 22x9 Fuel Off-Road Rebel 6 Tires: 33" Nitto Tire USA Ridge Grappler RO: 8068 My truck feels complete, and I of course I highly recommend Johnny G and Central Alps if you looking to make your truck better...super product, built in a timely fashion, with great friendly service from folks you can trust...do you really need anything more? read more

Payton is amazing. I lifted my first generation sequoia and the back spacer didn't fit in the spot it needed to and they could've easily just put it in there and let my rear axle. Just kinda dangle and not have the proper suspension. It needed to be safe, but instead, Payton called me and is Putting in new rear springs for free because the kit didn't include what they needed everybody there are so kind and they have a pretty good price difference from everybody else. read more

Placed a deposit for my wheels, tires and leveling kit only to find out it hadn't been placed and waited over a month to have it in. Had to go back to get it aligned as it wasn't done properly the first time and needless to say another month went by and they "forgot to order" my wheel locks. I have had a custom set up on all my vehicles and never has anyone installed any wheels with just regular lug nuts. Jeep community is tight and I'll share my bad experience with all. Sad thing is they had a chance to make it right and owner found it funny he forgot to place the lug nut order. read more

I never leave bad reviews, but I feel like this one is beyond necessary. If you're thinking about using this shop for your lift, I hope you reconsider after reading this review. I got my Jeep lifted at Central Alps about 2 months ago. Two days ago, I was trying to stop at a red light and my brakes gave out completely. The TCS light turned on, the brakes pulsed, I just could NOT stop, and I ended up running the red light. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. This morning, I took my Jeep to a local shop in Conroe (shout out to OCD Customs for defending me and having my back) and they showed me the issue. The tie rod was not properly installed. We got on a call with Central Alps to explain what we found and sent them videos of the issue. I told them that after my traumatizing experience, I'd rather not have them touch my car, and I'd rather just have OCD fix my Jeep. Also, I no longer live in Arlington, so towing it for 4 hours was impractical. They asked us to send the SKU of the part that OCD recommended because they said that there's no such thing as a teraflex drag link for a 3.5" lift, which is FALSE. Anyone with Google and fingers could have found this product, but in case Central Alps needs assistance , here's the link, where it clearly says it fits 3.5" lifts. (https://www.justforjeeps.com/1853900.html ) After that first attempt at avoiding fixing their mistake, they called us again to tell us that they actually did not install the tie rod and that they "confirmed with Rubicon Express" that the tie rod is OEM and that's not something they touched (second attempt at avoiding fixing their mistake) After a ton of back and forth , multiple calls, and evidence/pictures, they call us back and says that they talked to their mechanic and they did actually install the tie rod, but since that's the only issue they see, they're only willing to cover the 80$ part and they won't cover the labor unless they fix it themselves. They know I live 4 hours away, and they weren't willing to cover the expense to tow the car. They just made this whole thing SO difficult and SO exhausting.The way they handled this whole situation was absolutely disgusting. I literally could have died or gotten in a serious car wreck and injured someone else because they didn't install something correctly, and they had zero sympathy about any of this. They just tried to find any way to get out of it and gave me the run around for hours. No apology. No sympathy. No refund on their crappy labor. Just a lot of lying and denying. I'm honestly just grossed out by this whole thing. An honest company would have done anything to fix their mistake and they'd do what they can to put the customer at ease. These guys have done the exact opposite. I really wish that they handled this situation better and just made everything right, but they didn't. So now, here I am, just a girl and her phone, typing a review, hoping it prevents at least one person from making the same mistake as me. If anyone is reading this, please please please do not use this shop for your lift. There's better shops out there. They're good at marketing and looking cool, but when things get bad/serious, you will be left high and dry. Oh and they even mentioned that if I leave a bad review, it's considered "slander". They literally tried to scare me into not leaving a bad review. I did nothing wrong, they're the ones that messed up , and they still will try to make you feel like you're in the wrong, even when you have video evidence of the issue. That's actually probably why they don't have many bad reviews - they scare customers into thinking they're going to get sued for being transparent. They also block Instagram comments , which I find weird. Anyway, I'll update this review if they do decide to sue me :) read more

I can't say enough about this company!! I got my 2020 F150 done about a year ago. It turned out . Loved how my truck turned out. I put some bags on the rear and they didn't ride right. So I took them back and they adjusted and fixed the issue. I put about 20k on my Radar Renegade XT tiers and have balanced them 4+ times and still get a bad vibration. I've gone to the ford dealership thinking no way it's these tires and it's my trans or driveshaft. I have spent as much on trips and balancing g tiers as I would have on a set. Central alps has balanced them TWICE and still have a bad vibration. Radar will not warranty there tire unless I send it in. With an authorized vendor looking at them. Even though there warranty states this ""The period of warranty coverage for eligible tires extends until: i) the original usable tread wears down to 2/32nds of an inch (1.6 mm), as evidenced by the built-in treadwear indicators in the tread grooves or a tire tread depth gauge; or ii) five (5) years from the date of retail purchase (proof of tire purchase required); or iii) six (6) years from the date of manufacture as per the DOT number, whichever occurs first. (WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIAL LIMITED WARRANTY) All Radar brand tires are warranted against defects in workmanship and material. If, upon examination by an authorized Radar retailer, it is discovered that an eligible tire is unserviceable as a result of workmanship or material related conditions, that the warranty period for the tire has not expired [five (5) years from date of purchase or six (6) years from date of manufacture as per DOT number)], and that no EXCEPTIONS TO WARRANTY COVERAGE apply, the tire will be replaced at no charge (conditions apply) or at prorated cost (determined by reason of claim using mileage and/or tread depth) with an equivalent new Radar tire by an authorized Radar retailer. Eligibility for no charge replacement and details of prorated calculation can be found under section TIRE REPLACEMENT AND RELATED COSTS. I'm not asking for radar to give me tires. I just want them fixed. To warranty standards! This has been going on for months now. Drex has been amazing in trying to resolve this issue and coming up with a solution. Michael also has been great and trying to come up with a solution. So I can't say enough about how these guys will keep fighting for you. Great company that will turn out a great product! I have to admit, I was not sure about buying a jeep. I was a Mercedes-Benz type of guy, and bought a very simple jeep, and was hooked. I looked around the Dallas metroplex for quite a few months trying to find a great company to do the upgrades. Central Alps answered all my questions, plus they seemed like cool freakin dudes! They didn't rush or push, and answered all my questions. I am a nurse, and I can save your life, but knew nothing about upgrades, jeeps, or being rugged, they didn't laugh either.
