The staff is so friendly my dog actually starts whining from excitement when we pull in and passes out immediately in the car when picked up. Our little dog needed some exercise and socialization. We looked around at other potential doggie daycare's but we were not keen on the locations or didn't like the facilities. Central Bark opened in a very convenient location for and we were among the first to sign up and check it out! We met with Lindsay for a tour and were immediately impressed by the facility and her obvious love for the dogs. We started Tucker with 2 days a week and soon moved him to 3. He went from being a little skittish at first to where he now literally runs for the door! I'm sure I could drive up, let him out and he'd run on in without a care! A great testament to his level of enjoyment! We like the daily photos (lots of action shots!) and the very personal service from all the staff there. Central Bark is such a loving location to place your pets. The owners and staff take such great care of the pups at this location - it takes only a moment from the time you walk in to see how much tender love and care they offer the animals. One of my favorite things about visiting the location is how much individual attention each one of the puppies receives. The workers know all of the (many!) happy dogs by name and can tell you about their personalities, likes and dislikes, etc. One of the other great things this facility does for the animals is document their fun days in great photographs. Puppy parents can follow Central Bark's social media and see their furry friends socializing, playing, napping, and simply enjoying themselves in this fun facility. I have many friends who place their fur babies in the care of Central Bark, and I don't know a single person who is disappointed in the care their animals receive. We had our six year old mini poodle groomed at Central Bark this past weekend. Reservations are required. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted and asked to fill out the required paperwork. The groomer came out to meet our dog and asked us questions about how we wanted his cut. She was friendly and super professional and I felt comfortable knowing I could leave our dog here even though he's a bit skittish around new environments/other dogs. We received a call that his grooming was complete after ~3 hours. Picked him up and he was super fluffy and his cut was amazing! The groomer did an excellent job with everything including filing down his nails so they don't scratch or poke you. Everything was what we wanted (we DIDN'T want the standard poodle groom and I had some specific requests) and he smelled/felt great too. I also appreciated that their grooming area has a clear glass door where you can see the dogs get groomed for greater transparency. I'll be making Central Bark my regular groomer going forward. Price-wise, it was $66 with tax (no tip) which was a bit pricey in my opinion for a small dog groom (10lbs). I think it was because poodles require special TLC which upped the cost from the standard full groom price starting at $45. read more

I am the proud owner of a tremendously yappy and only mildly socialized miniature schnauzer. Although I love him dearly, I completely understand that he can sometimes be quite a handful for others. When I brought him to Central Bark for doggy day care and boarding for a few days, I was warmly greeted by Lindsay and her amazing staff and repeatedly assured that my dog would be cared for and given the attention that he so desperately needs. Our pup has been spending one day each week with Lindsay and her staff at Central Bark. They are the best we have encountered in Atlanta, having used a couple others with pretty good results, we tried Central because its a bit more convenient. Central Bark is very special: Lindsay and her staff seem to have a passion for the pups, and I'm always amazed at how much she remembers about our Charlie; what kind of day he had; who he played with; and on our last visit she even pointed out a potential veterinary concern that my wife and I had not noticed. We have also boarded our Charlie at least twice for several days, and we can call for a very knowledgeable status anytime we want. My puppy, Apollo, and I have had nothing but good experiences at Central Bark since I started taking him there for doggy daycare and grooming. What's really stood out to me about this place is that they're invested in your dog's individual needs and behaviors. Every time I pick him up, they give me feedback about his behavior and things I need to watch out for. They also post pictures of puppy playtime on their Facebook page, which means I get to see how happy he his playing with his friends. The best part is that it's clear that they give the dogs time to be socialize and play, so it's always a meaningful experience for Apollo. Our fur-baby, Izzy, has been going to Central Bark for several months now and we absolutely love it! Lindsay and her staff take the time to get to know all of their pups and genuinely care about their happiness and well-being. As a rescue, Izzy is always a bit anxious when she's away from home, but Lindsay and her staff go out of their way to make sure Izzy is comfortable and playing her little heart out. The staff is also happy to send you text updates when boarding, which we absolutely love. I cannot say enough good things about Central Bark, and especially Abby. We have been taking our dog there for grooming for a couple of years. We recently also completed the Elementary training that Abby taught. Abby is a dog whisperer/goddess/magician. She is so gifted with understanding all types of dog personalities. She quickly assesses both the owner's and dog's needs and expertly guides them towards the goal. I got more out of one class than I expected to get out of the whole 6 weeks. I recently took my dog here for his first haircut and wasn't super impressed to say the least. The front desk girl was a doll and she asked me exactly what I wanted--after telling her his neck hair needed to be cut and to please only trim his tail, the groomer came out to meet me. The first thing she said was he doesn't look like he needs cut and was a little rude--I felt a little uncomfortable but left him in their care! When i arrived to pick him up he was in a panic to get out of there so I ran out the door and wasn't able to inspect him until he returned home. $75 later with a $5 tip (that I had to give before seeing my dog) the only thing they trimmed was his leg hair and around his butt (which looks terrible). They barely trimmed his neck hair or ear hair, the reason I got my dog cut. The pros were he smells great and his legs look good but not worth $75!!! read more

Our rescue pup had never been around so many dogs or doggy day care, and the personalized care she received was beyond any expectation we had. No self dog wash - :-( I was so very excited to see that a new doggie day care was opening up near my home. With 3 dirty dogs...I love being able to take them to a one-stop shop to bathe them. Their website states "At Central Bark, we strive to be your one-stop-shop for all things doggy, offering a level of service and knowledge that is unsurpassed in the industry." - NO DOG WASH??? C'MON!!! No, I don't want to drive to City Dog Market on the other side of town! If you truly want to be "unsurpassed in the industry", ADD A DOG WASH! That's what we need around here! read more

I love this place! I started taking my 4.5 month old puppy on Saturday's to the "Puppy Power Hour" so she could play with puppies her own age. We both loved it so much that I signed her up for doggie day care twice a week. She can't wait to go! The entire staff is very professional and really nice. They are all well educated on puppy behaviors and how to correct them for things they are doing wrong. Also, the facility is very clean! We took our 9 month old puppy here for the first time yesterday and I honestly cannot believe how tired she was, which is obviously not common for puppies! I was so happy to see her playing in the pictures they posted and the packet they sent home from her first day behavior assessment was awesome!
