    Oliver loves day care!

Highly recommend!! My corgi puppy gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot he hardly wants to say goodbye to me. It's the highlight of his week and everyone who works here is very nice!

Then she and Jacob asked a lot of questions and listened intently at the consultation appointment. Gunther had issues with aggressiveness when he was scared or unsure, he was very hyper and spastic, and we could tell he just didn't know how to behave as a dog in a loving home. We opted to send Gunther away with Anya for the 4 weeks border/training program. He came back to us a completely different dog! Gunther learned so much with Anya! He is a super obedient dog and overall has really calmed down. No more jumping on people, no more aggression, no more spastic behavior, no more scarfing his food...he is visibly a much happier dog! He now understands what is expected of him and he really wants to please. We are so thankful for Anya and her team. We have since participated in group walks and Anya is so caring of and concerned with all the dogs. Anya is also a very kind and patient human trainer (the reality is we dog owners often need as much if not more training on how to handle ourselves!)! No regrets, worth every penny and every bit of time!

Alas, the norm has become the dog straining at the leash, barking unceasingly, ignored by their human counterparts, and (my least favorite) chained in a yard and forgotten. Way before anyone whispered to dogs, before Cesar brought pack mentality to the tee-vee, Bill Oliver was working police trials dogs with the Air Force. His approach for three decades has been "practical behavior training" of your dog, and I can tell you: IT WORKS. Our rescue dog Roscoe is a graduate of Custom Canine and now lives a calmer, more civilized life. (He still can't drive a stick or play much more than Chop Sticks on the piano, but those are fine points.) Custom offers group and private training at their magnificent farm in the hills above the upper Rocky River in Medina County. In good weather he works outside; the huge, heated training barn is perfect for when the elements are not. While we haven't (yet) used the boarding facility, we won't hesitate when we take our next out-of-town trip. Woof. Woof woof.

He found a break in my fence in 5 minutes but it would not activate neither of my dogs collars, he said I needed new batteries for my collars. When I bought new batteries it still would not activate my dogs collars. When I called to tell him that it was not my collars he said I would have to pay another $85. plus again $60. for labor. He did not stand behind his work and I spent a $100.00 for a fence that does not even work. He did not return call, I would never recommend him to anyone.

We met Jennifer while she was helping foster a cat we wanted to adopt. Several months later when we…read moreadopted our dog and discovered his nearly debilitating separation anxiety, we asked her for help. She came to our home and helped train him in some basic commands (turns out you *can* teach an old dog new tricks), as well as training us to recognize signs of stress in him and helping us cope with his anxiety. My fiancée had never had a dog before, and even when it looked like we would have to return Tank to the rescue, Jennifer reassured us that things just take time. Finally, through a combination of training with Jennifer and some puppy Prozac (also at Jennifer's suggestion), Tank is a happy, healthy, well-adjusted dog. Also, when we adopted a second cat who did NOT get along with the first cat, Jennifer taught us how to give both cats enough reassurance and sense of safety to make them comfortable with each other. As I write this they're playing together and chasing each other up and down the hall (for such small cats they make a LOT of noise). All of this is to say that without Jennifer we would not be the family that we are. She brought us our first cat, helped us rescue and rehabilitate our dog, and made sure our second cat was safe in our home. We are very grateful to her and would 100% recommend her business to anyone in need of assistance with any pet related issues. She has always been there for us to answer questions or offer support and we can't thank her enough.

Jennifer has helped me integrate a new dog into my pack and gave each of the 5 dogs individualized attention and assessments.
