This company caused us three different attempts to get our ac fixed. Replaced components came back twice to get said part replaced because it kept failing. Third time it recently failed the second time they came down it was like pulling teeth for them to come fix their rigged repairs. Had to call several times. Kept flaking on the days they scheduled us. This third time their replacement part failed We called another company to come and look at it. The tech showed us what was rigged to replace the parts they said they replaced. They cut off certain components to make things "function". Update - I forgot I had left my review 8 years ago until the owner responded to it today! After getting a new AC unit installed by him, he had to come out as he "forgot" to seal a tube from the condenser and it started to flood my mud room. He came out and fixed it. Horrible expereince. He added the freon before checking if there was a leak. Waste of money. Charged me for the freon which is $100 per lbs. He just kept saying he was trustworthy and trying to help, but does that really mean its the truth? Don't say you have an old AC, He will break yours and try to sell you a new one. Fast reply, free quote on a new install, and all were professional and willing to spend the time to understand my needs and give me a fast price with a promise of a fast timeline. CCA was not the lowest bid, but they were close. There was just a feeling i had this was the place. The owner has a great story of going from handyman to HVAC tech to contractor and then business owner. I have nothing negative to say about the competition, but you can't go wrong with CCA, they quoted on Wednesday and installed Friday. Luis took my call after hours on a Friday evening and came to look at my AC. I had a prior visit from another company from my home warranty on Tuesday where I thought the proper repairs were made, but it broke again only a couple days later after closing time. Luis text me prior to arriving and talked to me about different problems my AC could have. Got it running with no charge and even came again the following day to check if my unit was over-amping or could confirm possible breaker issues, which ended up being the problem. He expressed wanting to help me since my husband had passed away a couple years prior and I admitted I knew absolutely nothing about any of these home systems, but also knew electrical wasn't covered by my home warranty. At the busiest point of the season, he still offered to look for a breaker for me and install it if I needed. Thankfully, I was able to get the correct breaker and replace it with my son's help and our AC is cooling again like a dream. I appreciate Luis for his timeliness, professionalism, understanding and explanation of AC systems and problems. But mostly I appreciate that he is a kind, honest person with good values and that's hard to find these days. Where it would have been easy to charge me a lot of money for his time after-hours, he wouldn't let me pay him at all. I would give him a 20/10 . I would recommend any and all friends and family go through him. If I ever do have another AC issue, I won't even call my home warranty, I'd just call him. I am also committing to calling him each year for maintenance before the busy season, since I know he will do quality work.
