This time I brought in a rear windshield that was an after market piece, but it has a manual window on it which is why I wanted it. They installed it quickly and it was a flawless install. It's set perfect and there are no leaks after waiting 72 hours to dry then two trips to the carwash and a hose test, I water boarded the heck out of that window, no leaks anywhere and I tried to find even the littlest of one. Super happy I got the window and got the Rite people to install it. If you need auto glass work Rite Way will come to you or you can go to the shop, they will get you taken care of quicker than and considerably cheaper than the big national company even if they have to come to you. I knew I'd need to have it fixed prior to getting back on the road so I checked around with several different companies who gave me a quote that seemed pretty high. Later on, I happened to stumble across this company listing and called after business hours to leave a message. To my surprise, they answered the phone and were more than willing to talk with me. I gave them my predicament and was told they would give me a call back shortly. After about 30 minutes I received a call back with the quote which was about $100 less than the other 2 companies so we scheduled an appointment for the following day. The owner, Tobin, informed us that they were new to the area but had been doing glass repair for years, arrived to the house 10 minutes early and was super polite and respectful. My car was broken into (driver's window smashed) overnight last week. I call Glass America Friday…read moreat 3:00 PM to order a new window. They said they would be out Monday to install the window. It's now Thursday and after several calls to Glass America, multiple rescheduled appointments on their end and still no replacement window for my car. Glass America dropped the ball several times and made no attempt to understand my frustration or make things better. I have cancelled my appointment and suggest you look elsewhere for your car window replacement.
