Wonderful staff, good food and a really well curated menu, beverages and food, respectively. The space draws all types of customers, and all are treated well. The handcut fries are phenomenal, next time I may go for fish and chips.

Fun sports bar with good food and cocktail options. The bar particularly caters to Bills fans and U of Michigan fans but they have multiple tvs with many games going. The menu is above par for your average sports bar. Order the everything pretzel bites.

Not sure what was in this location before or what it looked like inside but this version is really great. It's a warm, cozy, welcoming atmosphere with tvs that don't seem to take over the space. They have a nice happy hour and the menu has an ample variety of pub food that hits the spot. The service was friendly but not as attentive as it should have been. We were enjoying ourselves so it wasn't an issue. We will definitely return especially due to its convenient location to the Columbus Circle subway. Stop by for a drink/bite on your commute home!

We were in New York just on a whim. I really just wanted good wings. I know there are so many other places, so I did a random search and lo and behold, behold and lo Central Park Tavern appeared. The wings looked good so we went and let me tell you, we are soooo glad we did. The hospitality on this new gem was great and we added this spot to our roster of favorite eats. The wings were sooo good. My boyfriend is a burger guy and very picky. He melted when biting into that smash burger. I had a corner of it and it was delicious. Thank you Central Park Tavern. You have new avid customers when we are in town.

Really enjoyed my meal at Lola's. We shared 2 apps and 3 mains for 3 people and found it to be the…read moreright amount for us. The food was all very flavorful and each dish was unique. Here's the rundown: - naan: recommend this, though maybe overhyped myself based on previous reviews. The yogurt sauce was delish, but the bread itself was very good but not mind blowing. - BLT salad: dark horse fav! Tons of flavor and I kept going back for more. Recommend as an app - Union Square bento: honestly, wish this came in a real bento box. Seems like a miss, but I suppose separate plates give you more volume. Good to add as a side to whatever else you get. Cabbage was the best of the trio. - rice bowl: squash and rice were solid, but the shrimp was the standout here! Very flavorful shrimp. Not sure how they packed so much flavor into the little bites of them - fried chicken thighs: I mean, yes. They're juicy. They're fried excellently. The side sauces are creative and great for vinegar-lovers like me I also got the carrot cocktail which was ultra smooth and had the right amount of dill flavor. We got two cookies to go which were divine. I'd get them to stay to try it with the oolong milk next time, but we had to run. The service was friendly, courteous. Ambiance was trendy but not uptight. Would recommend for a nicer night out

I ordered their fried chicken thighs because it's what they're known for, and I get it. You can tell the chicken was brined, and it had an excellent crunch. This is a restaurant I would also go to on a date or if I wanted to dress up and look nice with friends, but I'm still glad I went by myself.

The concept is similar to Chipotle, where you build your own meal by choosing a protein, grain, sauce, and toppings. I created a bowl with white rice, caramelized steak, broccoli, and pesto, and paired it with a strawberry mint lemonade. The portion size was enormous--I easily could have stretched it into three meals. Even better, the food tasted just as good as it looked. The pesto added a ton of flavor, and while I usually pair pesto with chicken, it worked surprisingly well with the caramelized steak. The strawberry mint lemonade was also refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. My only criticism is the lack of seating. There are only a handful of stools and one small table, and every seat was occupied when we visited, so we had to take our food elsewhere to eat. If they had a bit more seating, the experience would have been even better. Overall, this was a delicious, healthy meal with generous portions, and I'd gladly stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

The new location, while smaller than the last, is closer to the Union Square-14th St. subway…read morestation. And it doesn't have that dead space on the 2nd floor where though there may have been a place for you to sit, didn't mean that you'd necessarily enjoyed yourself there: Chances were that'd you'd have to hear someone's conversation in person or on the phone, as if you were on the subway. None of that here now with 4, albeit generous, seats facing the window: The expectation now is that during the lunch rush, you're going straight back to your desk or, if it's nice outside, sit outside (so a great use of the car-free section of Broadway). I had the Hot Chicken Plate: It was the special for folks with the SG app so I thought, why not. I picked double quinoa, blackened chicken, sweet potato and everything else you can see in my photo. The warm quinoa and the chicken were fantastic: You know SG is making a play for Chipotle's customers by offering what's basically a rice base with a chicken and salad topping. I was not a fan of the spicy broccoli which I found too salty. If you overload your plate with toppings it will easily go over the Chipotle price point: You'll know what's happening now that you have to enter it all in yourself on one of 3 tablets at the counter that divides the public from the kitchen. Can't wait to see the lunch crowd at the new spot!
