I tried this place for lunch with friends. This place is pretty busy but they sat us within ten minutes. I ordered sliders and wings, the wings were crispy which I love. The ambiance was great at lunch so I can only imagine how it must be for happy hour...I will be back.

We stopped by this Irish bar for a drink and a quick bite, and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of TVs to watch the game--my husband was thrilled with that. We ordered nachos, which were delicious--loaded with cheese, chili and jalepenos. The Reuben was really good as well. The bartender was great, she brought us a side of very spicy mustard to try with the Reuben. It added a kick to the meal!

Really great food and atmosphere. Servers are really on top of it and we never had an empty glass of beer or water. Fish and chips were really good and I would definitely order them again!

Great Reuben here. Trinity our server was an absolute delight and took care of us the whole time with a smile. We watched the NBA finals game here. Sat at a table and watched it ahead of us. A little far but oh well on short notice! Reuben kinda falls apart but the meat is great. The fries are insane to me. They were so tasty I ate them so fast. More!!!! Saw a celebrity here so that was cool!

    Tasty mozzarella sticks.

We were in NYC for the week and noticed there was a USMNT game playing. After searching for a place to watch soccer nearby, we landed at McHales. Drinks were poured well, and the server was perfectly attentive. We ordered mozzarella sticks and french fries which were freshly fried and paired well with the Irish whisky :-D

Whether you call it soccer or football, McHale's is arguably the best place in NYC to watch it. I've been making the occasional journey since last summer when I found out a favorite team of mine had a supporters club based here. There's a wide range of good options to choose from as far as food and drinks are concerned, and the staff are all great people. Definitely a place worth visiting, especially for soccer fans.

We stopped in here on our way to the ball game because it's important to pre-game before actually gaming. Comfy vibe in this bar which does have food. Today, just sitting at the bar and drinking. Interesting group of barflies. Friendly bunch. Good service. A nice watering hole. [Review 15660 overall - 256 in New York - 1164 of 2021.]

I've been here several times. Friendly spot with good food. Also always have sports playing if you're looking for that. Nice atmosphere and staff.

A fun place and great service. Stopped in here before a concert at the Music Hall. I think it could be worthy of a higher score but I was terribly disappointed with their fish & chips - supposedly a house specialty. Folks that had burgers liked them a lot!

Finally got a chance to check out McHale's. First, great atmosphere and outdoor seating. Also excellent service. Staff was more than happy to accommodate my shih tzu Big Ern and even brought water for the little man. We ordered a few Guinesses which were perfectly poured and well temperatured. I ordered the F.O.S. which was meh. 5.7 on my F.O.S. scale. Came out a bit cold and needed more cheese. Be sure to check out @doctor_f.o.s on instagram for other F.O.S. Reviews. My wife ordered the grilled chicken wrap which was fresh and tasty. Side of fries was great, and their chipotle mayo was fire! Overall, great spot, good prices and awesome service. Will be back!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

We started with the steak tartare with Melba toast and caviar. For entrees we had the creamy cavatelli with maitake and squash. Server was a sweetheart, really relaxed and didn't seem stressed or overworked, she was able to talk and not sprint around the restaurant. Food was delicious, didn't LOVE the broccoli-avocado appetizer, it felt bland but it was still a nice refreshing starter. Ordered the truffle gnocchi, AMAZING! So cheesy but not overwhelming. My mom ordered the beet salad. Not usually a fan of beets but I really loved the sauce (balsamic) and it was actually very good. I ordered all 3 mocktails and didn't have a complaint about any. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the décor and ambiance. Every corner has been thoughtfully designed with incredible attention to detail, creating one of the most unique and immersive bar experiences I've ever had. The level of intention behind the design is truly second to none. The cocktails were outstanding-creative, beautifully balanced, and expertly crafted. Every drink felt purposeful and showcased real talent behind the bar. Despite the venue being absolutely packed, the service remained warm, personal, and genuinely attentive. Bartender Juan was exceptional, and manager Andrii led by example with true hospitality. I initially had a seat that wasn't ideal, and without me saying a single word, they noticed. As soon as a better seat became available, they proactively offered to move me. That simple gesture spoke volumes about their awareness and commitment to guest experience. It's easy to deliver great service when a room is half empty. It's much harder when every seat is full, and that's exactly when this team shined the brightest. Bravo to the entire Oscar Wilde Bar team, especially Juan and Andrii. Experiences like this remind me why genuine hospitality is an art. I can't wait to return.

Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas.
