Skid steer from Central Septic ran over the driveway.

I hired this company to do a new installation of a septic system. Upon completion of the job, they didn't let me know they had completed the job the day before. I went to the site the following day and noticed the new driveway I poured the week prior was cracked. I also could see the tracks from the machine going across the driveway. I called Michael to let him know about it. He stated being really nasty on the phone and then hung up. His wife then texts me and says that they are filing a lien for their balance if I don't pay them. I had to pay to repair the driveway after being extorted by this company. Do not use them, they have no honor. The owners response is more lies. They where the only contractor onsite and in that area working. Also our superintendent and two other sub contractors saw them drive over the driveway. We have no reason to lie, they have no honor and could have offered to pay. I stead they didn't even want to discuss it. Do not hire them, shady outfit.

CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER. I'm a long time customer of Royal Flush (10+years), but based on recent…read moreservice (as seen by others) would never do business with them again. I called a tech to come to my house to service a hot water heater they installed 2 years prior that was still under warranty. It was getting no hot water. Mind you, I had already called the year prior to let them know the water was running cold. They told me that was "normal". The tech that came out was rude, aggressive, told me the product his own company installed was garbage (A.O. Smith -- so if you use them, don't let them put that in), and offered little help to find parts to repair it. He put that responsibility on me, despite the fact that I was desperately trying to get my hot water back on to help take care of my mom who was coming to stay with me after a cancer diagnosis and rehab, and trying to work around his visit. He pressured me and threatened repeatedly to leave unless I installed a new hot water heater because the part could not be found. He also told me that if he left, I'd have no hot water for my mom. After I finally reluctantly agreed TO PAY FOR 2 WATER HEATERS IN 2 YEARS - not knowing what else to do - he told me that was a bad decision because he could have picked up the part outside of the city or outside of the state (things he often does, but didn't offer me). I was so upset, I called the office to complain. Everyone I spoke to was either shocked, disappointed or offered to resolve the issue with a discount, but you what they ended up doing? NOTHING. FOR WEEKS. DESPTE REPEATED CALLS ON MY END. When they finally did respond 3+ weeks later, they had the audacity to offer me 20% off a future visit --- as if I'd return. When I disputed a portion of the cost with my CC company (yes, I actually paid for some of it), they had the further audacity to threaten legal action. So, I called them again to resolve the issue and sent the billing person (Aja) the documentation of every single conversation (with Duan, Bailey, John, Courtney and Wendy). Aja said she'd get back in 2 days. A week of so later after I reached out 2 more times, her boss, Karen, finally sends me a letter, ASKING FOR MORE MONEY - a year after the original fiasco. I cannot believe the nerve of this company. My gut tells me that their terrible customer service these days are coming back to bite them and they are getting desperate. RUN TO ANY OTHER PLUMBER BESIDES THIS ONE if you value quality, customer services, responsiveness and decency, because THEY DON'T.

I've used Royal Flush a couple of times over the years. Recently, I had multiple repairs I needed…read moredone. First, my water heater broke, then my toilet broke and we decided to replace it with a new one. We also got our leaky shower fixed as well since we were doing these repairs. So they came to our home several times in about a month's time. Every visit, the guys were very polite, knowledgeable, professional. They replaced our water heater, which was a full day's job. Replaced our toilet, which needed a build-up on the flange to install properly (probably contributed to our old one breaking). And changed the cartridge inside the wall on the shower to stop it leaking. Every visit they gave us a magnet for a certain amount off on our next repair, and it was really helpful and nice. Even the ladies on the phone are very nice. We had initially called Blue Skies for a quote. RF was just slightly less expensive, but they also charge a flat rate whereas Blue Skies charges per hour. Personally I would not go with a per hour rate for a contractor. I would use Royal Flush again.

TWO WATER HEATERS REPLACED BEFORE THE TECHNICIAN CHECKED THE GAS…read more Bynum & Sons Plumbing turned a shutoff of my gas service into an unnecessary $4,134 replacement of two functioning water heaters. Its response afterward was even more disturbing than the original incompetence. On Monday, August 10, a Bynum technician came to my home because neither gas water heater was producing hot water. When he saw me, he said, "I know you. I've been to your house before." The unusual remark caused me to pay particular attention to and remember him. He told me both heaters were out of warranty, could not be repaired, and had to be replaced. On Tuesday, I was shown an identifying photograph of the technician scheduled to perform the installation. I recognized him as the same man who had been in my home Monday. He then returned and replaced both heaters. Only after removing and replacing them did he check the gas supply and discover that the gas had been turned off several days earlier. The original water heaters had not caused the loss of hot water. They had not been receiving gas. This was not a subtle mechanical problem. Before condemning two gas appliances and charging a customer $4,134 to replace them, a competent plumber should determine whether they are receiving gas. The technician also obtained my electronic signatures without showing me the documents. His phone displayed only a signature field that occupied the entire screen. I could not see the document, its title, its terms, or any waiver to which my signature would be attached. I asked him to have Bynum send me copies of the transaction records. He refused to arrange it, saying he was "too busy." Within approximately three to five minutes after he left, I sent multiple text messages expressly directing him not to dispose of the removed heaters. I also reiterated my request for the records. Those texts and their timestamps are preserved. Bynum now claims its technician never came to my home Monday and that I simply called and instructed the company to replace both heaters. That account is false. I did not independently decide that two water heaters had simultaneously failed. I authorized the replacements because Bynum's technician came to my home, evaluated the situation, and told me both units were irreparable. Bynum also claims I was told that a "diagnostic" would cost $368 and supposedly chose replacement instead. No one clearly disclosed that arrangement or explained how this alleged $368 diagnostic differed from the "Free Estimate" and free consultation advertised by Home Depot, whose authorized installer Bynum was. Bynum's positions cannot be reconciled. It denies that the Monday visit occurred while simultaneously claiming I was offered and declined a diagnostic concerning the condition of the heaters. As of August 14, 2026, Bynum & Sons Plumbing has a D rating from the Better Business Bureau. The BBB identifies failure to respond to complaints as a reason for that rating. My experience provides a disturbing illustration of why consumers should pay attention to that record. What began as an elementary diagnostic failure became an effort to deny the first visit, rely upon documents I was never shown, disregard my immediate written instructions to preserve the removed heaters, and leave me responsible for a $4,134 transaction I would never have authorized if the technician had checked the gas supply first. I have disputed the charge and am submitting the evidence to the appropriate consumer-protection and professional-licensing authorities. I strongly recommend that consumers avoid entrusting Bynum & Sons Plumbing with a major home repair.

The plumber that came out was great. The Bynum & Sons office manager was an absolute jerk. Awful…read moreand nasty human. We had an issue where there wasn't hot water after the installation, and they wanted to wait 3 days before sending him back out. It was their mistake, not mine. She was the rudest customer service person I've ever dealt with. An absolute curse word. She threw Home Depot under the bus and got ruder by the minute. I told her I'd be contacting Hone Depot and doing a negative review. She essentially asked if if I needed help finding the review page. Which ironically was the most helpful she'd been. I was about to buy a dishwasher, refrigerator and washer and dryer through Home Depot, but will be going elsewhere if that's the type of sub contractor they use. I should have come to see the 1.8 Yelp review prior to saying yes and overpaying. If a zero rating was possible I'd do that!
