He quoted me $55-60, and said he was ready for me as soon as I got there. I asked him if he could cut a deal and do everything I needed for $50, he then in return said no problem. I show up moments later told him I spoke to someone just barely that quoted me $50 for oil change and new wipers, he then told me it's going to cost an additional $10 cause the person that quoted me was new and that he misquoted me. He also informed me, we only cut deals in the mornings?! Sounds to me like they didn't even want my business. Glad I've never invested a penny here, nor will I ever. What ever happened to the days that companies were supposed to honor quoted prices?! Needless to say I left not because it was an extra $10 but due to the principle of the issue in the first place.

There was quite a bit of wait, but that was no problem. It was obvious they were understaffed, and I wasn't in a hurry. The problem became when they told me they had the tire in stock and they would have it finished that day. So I Uber home, waited. Didn't get a text until after they were closing, off of their app saying my car was ready. Well, I couldn't pick it up the next day, so I figured I'll just pick it up in another day. Whenever you call - which I did repeatedly , no one answers the phone. I figured no big deal. It's ready. I'll go grab it the next day, so I get there the next day. Pay for another uber to get there and I'm told my car is not ready, and the tire was not in stock. No one called me, no one communicated. I was pretty upset and explained how disappointing that was. I go up to my car and it's completely flat and I have to air up my own tire. The person helping me apologizes and goes back, tells me she'll order the tire and it will be there by Monday. Monday comes around. Never get a call. Never hear anything back. Don't waste your time or money. I went ahead and drove out to Luling Tire Shop and they were able to just patch the tire and it's been great. If the mechanics even had a clue what they were doing over at Walmart, they could've easily fixed it, no problem. I will never come back here with my car.

But Walmart needs to get more help for the head shop lady, she was by herself from 7am-11:30 with 5 cars behind mine. Just wanted to put this heads up for everyone who doesn't know what to expect.

VERY dishonest people!…read more I got an oil change here just a couple of months ago, and this week my SUV started making a grinding noise and the oil light came on. I was 500 miles BELOW the level that was on my sticker indicating it was time for an oil change, and one MONTH before the date. Like a fool, I went back to the same place, thinking they could tell me what happened. They told me nothing was wrong and that maybe my vehicle just uses oil faster because it's older. When I got suspicious is when they said they could just top off the oil, but they'd had to charge me for it. Ah! Now I get it! They didn't fully fill the oil last time, which is why I was in need of additional oil WAY earlier than should have been necessary. In addition to this, the wait was over an hour...in the middle of the day...on a weekday. The only reason people are paying premium prices here is for FAST service. If it's not going to be fast, then what is the point?

I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. They ordered the part in same day and had me up and running the following afternoon. They gave me a ride to a local hotel and let me park my rv in the back of their place overnight. I believe it's a small family business who's been around for quite a long time. Very professional, very friendly, and gave me a fair price. I had both sides of the front end replaced for $900 total.
