I set up an appointment for him to come out and get the rotors and brakes installed and he was on time and ready to go. He analyzed the front and back rotors and informed me the front rotors didn't need to be replaced but the back ones definitely needed it. I was very happy that he was upfront and honest with me about not having to change out the rotors . He was very meticulous about his work and did an outstanding job for a hell of a price. He also gave me a military discount which he didn't have to do. He also looked over the truck and advised what other things needed to be done. He wrote me up a quote advised me on which repair was most important to address. I'm very happy with the results and effort he put into his work. I would definitely refer him for any car needs you might have. I will definitely be using him from now on. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust these days. Wish there was a 0/5!…read more I called this place when I was 5 minutes away. I asked about an oil change for a 2007 Toyota Yaris and a replacement of my windshield wipers. He quoted me $55-60, and said he was ready for me as soon as I got there. I asked him if he could cut a deal and do everything I needed for $50, he then in return said no problem. I show up moments later told him I spoke to someone just barely that quoted me $50 for oil change and new wipers, he then told me it's going to cost an additional $10 cause the person that quoted me was new and that he misquoted me. He also informed me, we only cut deals in the mornings?! Sounds to me like they didn't even want my business. Glad I've never invested a penny here, nor will I ever. What ever happened to the days that companies were supposed to honor quoted prices?! Needless to say I left not because it was an extra $10 but due to the principle of the issue in the first place.

I specifically requested a road-force match balance to correct a vibration at highway speeds, but was told the shop did not have the equipment. I chose to proceed with a standard balance and alignment. After they kept my truck for the entire day, I called one hour before closing to check the status. I was told--by someone who could barely communicate clearly--that none of the work had been completed because "the machine was down." I asked the employee to contact another Firestone location and arrange priority service since I had a trip early the next morning. Instead, he told me that I could call around myself. I had to stop him and explain that good customer service would be to take responsibility for the inconvenience and make an effort to resolve the issue. When I arrived to pick up my truck, I found it parked on the side of the building with every door left unlocked, another example of the carelessness at this location. The employee then informed me that he had called a store in Bastrop but that I would not make it before they closed, so "there was nothing he could do." He also stated that their alignment machine was down and, finally, that he could not balance my tires because my factory wheels were "bent." His dismissive attitude made it clear that there was no intention of performing the work. He notified me that, as a courtesy, he wouldn't charge me--but insisted I needed new wheels. Immediately afterward, I contacted the Firestone location in Kyle and explained the situation. Jeff, the service advisor there, got me in first thing the next morning and completed both the alignment and the tire balance without any issues whatsoever. When I returned from my trip, I attempted to complete the Firestone customer satisfaction survey to make corporate aware of my experience. The link had already expired--further demonstrating how little attention Firestone appears to pay to customer experience. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Lockhart Firestone for any services. The Kyle location earned my business, but the Lockhart store showed a clear lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer care.

There was quite a bit of wait, but that was no problem. It was obvious they were understaffed, and I wasn't in a hurry. The problem became when they told me they had the tire in stock and they would have it finished that day. So I Uber home, waited. Didn't get a text until after they were closing, off of their app saying my car was ready. Well, I couldn't pick it up the next day, so I figured I'll just pick it up in another day. Whenever you call - which I did repeatedly , no one answers the phone. I figured no big deal. It's ready. I'll go grab it the next day, so I get there the next day. Pay for another uber to get there and I'm told my car is not ready, and the tire was not in stock. No one called me, no one communicated. I was pretty upset and explained how disappointing that was. I go up to my car and it's completely flat and I have to air up my own tire. The person helping me apologizes and goes back, tells me she'll order the tire and it will be there by Monday. Monday comes around. Never get a call. Never hear anything back. Don't waste your time or money. I went ahead and drove out to Luling Tire Shop and they were able to just patch the tire and it's been great. If the mechanics even had a clue what they were doing over at Walmart, they could've easily fixed it, no problem. I will never come back here with my car.
