I got a delicious iced vanilla latte. Cute little place! If you shop at the store down the street you get a 5% discount :)

You can chill inside or outside at the Wheeling Coffee Shoppe, which offers a wide variety of hot…read moreand cold beverages, locally-made snacks, and major ice creams. Their frozen, blended coffees are outstanding, frozen tea smoothies are great, and their espresso shots will get you going in the morning. The aesthetics are great. Flowers are maintained during the summer, and ducks are fed nearby on the grass, the inside is pretty as well. Chess, checkers, scrabble are available to entertain you and your friends. They sell some WCS merch if you want to rep their coffee joint. They offer free Wi-Fi, which is why I did a lot of my business work here. Parking can be weird, so I usually just park in the nearby plaza. The only thing that makes this place better is its proximity to Avenue Eats. I'd recommend eating at Avenue, then walking 100 feet to Wheeling Coffee Shoppe for desert and coffee, of course. Wonderful little place.

In many of the upper and lower corners, wallpaper is falling off of the walls. There's dustwebs around the ceiling. The baseboard is DISGUSTING. There's a layer of dust on every shelf. Then there's the refusal to get wifi for customers. I've gone in once every 5-6 months to ask if they have wifi so I can work in there, it's nice to work in a coffee shop where you can get drinks and snacks from them for a few hours, but they refuse. Every single time I've gone in for the past 2 years they say, "oh, the wifi is down"...just say you don't want to pay for wifi for your customers. As much as I want to support local small business over chains, at least the chain coffee shops are clean and have working wifi. If a store is this dirty to the customers eye, I don't trust the machines and food storage. I am done trying to support them.

It is located in the Centre Market, along with many other shops and food spots. The girls working were very nice and lovely to converse with! We asked if they do a "medicine ball" -type drink, and one of the girls texted another person to make sure it was correctly made (she said not explicitly on the menu but they make it at customers request!) We got the tea, a seasonal latte, and a drink from their surprise jar. They have a jar with various drinks on pieces of paper, and you can pick one at random to be made if you are looking for something new or want a surprise! I never saw this before at a coffee shop and thought it was awesome. All of the drinks were great and the shop's ambiance is quaint and cozy. They are in the market amongst other shops, and have plenty of seats and tables to spread out at. If I lived in the area, I would come here to hang out or to meet up with friends. Would highly recommend the shop and will stop back when I am in the area!

When we walked in, there was an unsmiling staff member who just continued to stamp bags while we awkwardly just stood there. However, the rest of the staff was friendly. They have a great menu with interesting options. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich. My quiche was tasty, but while piping hot on the outside, it wasn't even room temp in the middle. I also didn't like having to drink my water out of a plastic cup, but would be happy to stop by this place again

There aren't a ton of tables but enough to accommodate 20-30 people in total across various tables. The menu was a little intimidating for me as brunch isn't anything I've ever had. But it's basically a breakfast menu and a lunch menu. They also have a nice bakery selection as well. I went with the caprese and a salad. I made a slight mistake and didn't read everything that came on the sandwich. As an avid carnivore I was a little disappointed to find out it was vegetarian, but that was before I tried it. The combination of the creamy mozzarella, tomato and balsamic was fantastic. It was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Im hoping the next time we stop in they aren't out of their salty bread to try with it. My wife tried the turkey, Brie and apple butter sandwich. Her's was my favorite of the two. They lightly toast the sandwich so everything is warm and creamy. The apple butter pairs nicely with the Brie and the smokey turkey. I'd recommend both of our sandwiches but if mine was an 8/10 hers was a 10 for me. I also had their house salad on the side. It wasn't anything extra special but the cranberries were a really nice touch to take it to the next level. If I had even one complaint to make it would be the hours. I'm sure they close at 2 because most people because they're a brunch spot, but with the quality of their food i would eat it for any meal of the day. I can't recommend it enough honestly.
